It would actually be kinda nice if they didn't slap that tacky ass "GS". Huh, that is a "GS". Upon first glance I thought it was a tilted triangle-type symbol. Not worth pre-ordering the game from Gamestop for that since there are going to be tons of costumes in-game anyway.

YES!
I wonder why Atlus didn't mention classic mode from the start?
Edit: Oh god, there seems to be an old bgm option too. Great!
It is strange why this news wasn't available from the beginning since a lot of backlash was created based on the initial revealing. Still, this is great news! Now both sides will be pleased, and then there's people like me who are pleased either way. I love classic and I'm excited for new.

The music in this game is awesome! Definitely disagree with the review on the music. I spin this soundtrack a lot while I'm chilling out at home and relaxing, and a lot of the songs get stuck in my head. Music is a tough thing to discuss in a review, because it's entirely subjective and not everyone is going to feel the same. I suppose the same thing could be said about the entire review in general, though. Oh well, to each their own. You guys, seriously. Just put this on while you browse the net. So perfect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTVWjNwGnLU

The 70 dollar Sennheisers make everything sound like I'm listening to a radio. What price range am I supposed to look at before things start getting good?
Maybe they're actually awesome and all of my music is just horribly recorded and my other headphones were to crappy realize this. I have no idea.
Get the Audio-Technica ATH-M30's from Amazon. Extremely good deal and they sound awesome. Convinced my friend to by them and he loves them as well.

I live about 15 minutes by train/bus from where it happened. Really scary. It's incredibly surreal. I still can't believe this happened. The videos are disturbing and an 8 year old boy has died, as well as many being injured. Why someone would do this is beyond me.

Trying to convince my GF to buy Soul Hackers, but she only likes RPGs in medieval settings. Boooooo.
I don't think Soul Hackers is the best way to ease her in, a lot of the settings are grimy and gross and suffer from a generally crap colour palette. Oh don't worry, she's been gaming for a while and generally doesn't care about graphics. One of her favorite games is Might and Magic 4 or something like that. That game looks terrible by todays standards. I've showed her videos of Soul Hackers already and she seems interested based on gameplay, but doesn't like the setting.

When I first heard this track in the first trailer it got me so hype. This is Nocturne levels of awesomeness. I can't remember the composers name, but he is a fine successor to Meguro for this game.

Speaking of which, going by the city background and the mc seemingly having a gun, SMT4 doesn't seem to be sticking solely to the 'medieval , but with samurai' setting. That was actually something I brought up in the discussion. "Maybe you'll like SMTIV more because it's more of a mix between medieval Japan/Samurai setting and modern". Maybe she'll bite with that. I'll get her to play an SMT game one way or another!
