In the words of Monty Python...."and now for something completely different"....I started Hakaba Kitarou today, and that is certainly something completely different, at least for me! Still LOVING Chihayafuru and almost done with Hourou Musuko (which I still cannot quite explain why I am so enthralled with it).

I just finished the game a few minutes ago. I'll have to wait a bit for my final impressions to set in but overall I had a blast playing the game. And WOW, that last boss battle was intense! Damn spikes and satellite things drove me crazy!

"Never judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes" seems to be an apt phrase here. Relationships are seldom the same for any two people and I, for one, try not to judge even my best friends relationships, it seldom turns out good for any of us, even if I am trying to be helpful. Honestly is sometimes about the persons perception. Hope that makes sense. On a happier note for me after putting in 72 hours this week I am off ALL weekend, yeah me!

It really is amazing how different we can feel with changes. I am diabetic and have high blood pressure, been pretty much out of control until the last couple of years when I started monitoring it, paying attention to my diet and basically giving a damn. I just thought the crappy way I always felt was (somewhat) normal. Now I certainly know different. So good for you Klyde, gotta take care of yourself! After all, imagine what games might be like in 20 yrs, lol.

My son's small man cave. Every year for X-Mas/B-Days we try and find him another retro system, latest find was the Sega Master System, in almost mint condition with 3-D glasses and light gun, he's pretty stoked about it! (pic is too big, so here's the link)

New Vegas - I somehow pissed off the Legion and now they keep sending assassins after me. One of the encounters (the "you've been marked for death") was extremely hard. Two guys were in centurion armor and took forever to kill, even throwing grenades/dynamite. It was a bit too much for my level 9 character. Other than that, still loving the game. Just wish these annoying freaks would quit ambushing me everywhere.

That is almost a game breaker! I swear I spent hours trying to escape those damn lunatics only to constantly have them pop up in places where I had no cover and had to run like a little bitch and pray. And then I became stronger...and I hunted those assholes down one by one! The day I destroyed them was one of my happiest achievements in the game!

Hourou Musuko is...interesting....I honestly cannot pinpoint why exactly but after six episodes I am really enthralled by this show.

So, first day off since I started my new position, man I am beat, but I felt it was a rewarding week professionally! Couple of more weeks and I'll (hopefully) have everything moving in a better direction.

River Tam, Darth Vader and Bill O'Reilly, so what are my chances?

I forget which Kalpa is was but one of them in Nocturne almost drove me to tears with the constant trap doors and so many battles I'd forget which freaking way I was going and where I'd stepped and where I hadn't. Even now I cring thinking about it.
