NO, it's not you. It indeed does seem each game looks for a more violent, more bloody, and more over the top kill than the last one, but I loved all of the GOW games, not sure what that says about me.

Haps: off work today, first day off in a week, so playing games all freaking day! Working three days rest of week to finish some loose ends, taking all of next week off and then reporting to my new location on 18th, exciting times ahead (I hope).

Little Lady and I finished season one of Honey and Clover and we both simply loved every minute of it, a great cast of characters combined with a nice story filled with drama and comedy! AAA+++. I am almost finished with Toradora and I like it a lot as well and I watched a few episodes of Last Exile recently to change things up a bit, so far pretty enjoyable show.

Late to the party as usual, but after @15 hours in (and yes, I take my time playing games, just now "recruited" Esther) my early impressions are very favorable. The battles, so far, are fun, yet challenging. The various side quests and bounties don't seem to take too much backtracking (at least so far, I completed all in Ding Dong Dell and have only one more in Al Mamoon) and the animation style I am in love with! I do have one small question though. Should I hoard the treats for later familiars or are they pretty easy to come by (I know I can buy them but money does seem to be a bit sparse so far)? Anyhow, so far I am loving this game, and hopefully the love fest continues, although it seldom does it seems, lol.

Now you have me thinking about exceptions as well...what about death? No exceptions from that are there...or are there.....(insert myth/conspiracy/alien life form theory here)

Found out today my bosses boss wants me at new location on March 18, FINALLY! Gonna be a bit more of a commute but much more mullah! Once again...Finally, been stringing me along for months now! And of course in 2 months I'll be complaining about the drive.

So in order to give Ni No Kuni my (somewhat) undivided attention I decided to finish Uncharted 3 today, and I stand by my original impression, I seriously believe 2 was better. Played a bit of Shift 2 and played many hours of Devil Summoner 2 today, gonna see how far I can get before Ni No Kuni gets here, lol

Got to the final battle(s) in Enchanted Arms....hmmm...would appear I am under-leveled...damn it. Been playing a bit of Need for Speed Shift 2 and I must say I freaking hate the physics in this game, horrible, horrible, horrible. On the flip side Glory of Heracles is a fun little game so far.

Finished Mushi-shi, and I loved it from start to finish (so much so I bought it the next day!), such a "relaxing" show,lol. Decided to try Toradora and so far I am very happy with the choice and Little Lady and I are watching Honey and Clover as our bedtime show, so far it's pretty enjoyable.
