So I love doing fantasy art, and do a wide array of stuff. Drawing, painting, sculpting, carving, etc...

Lately I have been on a polymer clay kick (kinda fun compared to how finicky real clay can be when you are as detail-oriented as I can be!).
(Yes, I also game, and the dice figures are a hit with the nerd crowd).

"I Made You a Cookie... but I Eated It"

"Its Mine! ....But You Can Borrow It"

"Get Kracken!"

"Its Slime Time!" (picture with Reyn's voice)

"Fairy Dice Dragon"

"Imperial Dragon"

(1)  Decided to change my profile picture to one of my creations. :)

(2)  Its damn hot today. Got a bug swarm on my screen door and unfortunately, they're small enough to get inside. So we have to keep the door closed unless we play "bug shoot" first - get a water bottle and blast all the bugs off/through the screen. I think my husband is secretly enjoying this game.

(3)  Is it wrong that I am amused by the deli signs?  "Smoked Chicks", "BBQ brats", and "Hung Salami"?

Thanks everyone!
I picked up Valkyria Chronicles and Beyond:Two Souls. I think I'll look at Tales of Xillia. I never did play ICO or Shadow of the Colossus so there is that too.

I tend to not be as into platformers unless the gameplay is forgiving and the story is strong. Not much of a Ratchet and Clank fan though. :)

Not big on sandbox games but my husband is. I'll suggest inFamous to him.

The only problem is that I don't have much space on either the Vita (memory cards are #%*!! Expensive) or the new PS3, which doesn't have much GIG space. Figured many games would be discounted and I do like physical copies :)
Someone who is less narrow in their game tastes might like the PS+ though :)

That is one I was thinking about... Ok on my get list :)

So I bought a PS3 to keep me good until the PS4 gets enough stuff to buy.

What RPGs should I get? (Will accept other types of games if they have a strong narrative and are clumsy player friendly). I am also looking for ones that are NOT on the Xbox (I likely played those already).

With my new PS3, I already bought:
Disgaea D2
Heavy Rain
No Nu Kumi (or however it's spelled...)

(Didn't pick up Disgaea 4 since I'll get that for the Vita anyways)

Want to get Last Of Us, and a Tales Game (not sure which is best... I like a good story and tend to prefer more turn based games)

Sell it a bit to us (other than gimme free stuff). :)

Hoping for a VITA type zero....

I'm happy - more likely to play this on the Vita than my Xbox360.
25  Media / The Soundroom / Re: Realm Reborn FFXIV Soundtrack on: May 15, 2014, 12:33:01 AM
Unfortunately, I don't have a PS3 (that's what you meant?) so I basically don't have anything that can play blue ray. I understand that packaging can be an issue for that many discs but it does baffle me that there is no digital download option. :(

So... it seems that it is not being sold on CD, but instead you need a blue ray player to listen to it. It doesn't seem to be available on iTunes either. Is there any where I can get the soundtrack in a format I can use? (Either CD or download)

Dark knight?

Equip blood sword. Equip skills that boost dark damage, drain attacks, and power.

Max your Braves.

Cast drain from blood sword, then equip a stronger weapon. The drain effect will remain.

Next turn, rage as many times as possible. The drain effect will ensure your hp does not drain from rage. You'll be able to do many rage attacks.

This class is brutal with someone with hasten world since your turns will increase faster (or with someone with dancer+mimic).

Oh you wanted ninja? Boost the speed/evasion and he'll strike more times with each weapon. 4x turns with two weapons equipped = 8x attacks. I hear it's also good because of evasion/counter but that tactic never seemed to work for me.

Agreed, vampire is more versatile than pirate, although the pirate does have insane attack stats. I do like that the pirate's debuff is also an attack though.

I liked the pirate's debuff abilities and I paired it with the no job class for mimic. Amped strike x4 after debuffing an enemy can be brutal.

Try to get the fox tail axes from Norende since they are more accurate.

I later found that dark knight rage + blood sword outclasses pirate later on though although the debuffing were stil useful in a secondary job in a pinch.

It might be better to do it in Chapter 4 if you want to get the vampire skills earlier rather than later. In chapter 5 onwards, the monsters change and you will not have access to approx half of the skills until the bonus late-game dungeon.

Go slow and level up lots in the castle.
