Invent a video game bed - you go to sleep and when you wake up, you're perfectly healthy - poison, paralysis, KO, curse, etc. etc. etc. are all cured. It would be great to be able to wipe away pain and nagging physical problems so easily.

The second superpower I've always wanted was teleportation (as the above posted commented), but I dunno if I can lug around a transporter :p

The first one would be the ability to "Save" in real life? Screw up at work? No problem, reload a save from a week ago and fix it. Had a really good day? Reload a save and reexperience it, then go back to your "main game" and continue. Need a vacation? Ditto and go back to your trip to Hawaii for a few days, then reload. Save before an interview and try out various responses before deciding on the best outcome and reloading to do that.

Well, my clothing issue is that
(1) I am a woman who is almost 6 feet tall
(2) For some reason tall clothes are either baggy or for women with no curves. Pants/trousers are the worst since most are too short for me and don't accomidate an hourglass easily (at least not without buying a size too big to fit my butt and then taking in several inches off the waist so it doesn't gape).

Oh and all the XXS at the sales rack :p

Went to the Gap and went crazy since I had a coupon for 30% off.  Grabbed 20 shirts before I looked at my coupon and saw it wasn't valid until Thursday.  What sucks is that I wear an xs and they only had one shirt in my size for all the different styles. When I go back in 2 days they might not even have my size.  But I couldn't buy $200 worth of stuff without the coupon.  It could have been even more since I wasn't even done shopping.  I still hadn't hit the men's side for my bf.  If I found as much for him then hat would be like $400.  I don't know if any of you do this but I relate prices to video games.  I was like that's a price of a ps4.  What's more important: clothes or a console?   You don't even need clothes to play video games!  (I'm kidding of course.)

You must visit Vancouver - I am always steamed because the M, L, and XL are the first to go and the sale racks are full of XS and S.

Bytor, that must be really hard. Sudden accident or something? You never expect someone that young to go.

I got three god monsters before giving up the game, but they require so much points to use, I can't take in a decent party. :-\

I hit a wall... Int is too easy and expert hands my ass to me. Getting frustrated.

There IS a way out of that floor; I have made the trek back to town myself.

The bosses are nasty. GameFaqs recommended fusing a Kartikeya with Tetrakarn and Makarakarn. The boss will lean heavily to physical or magical depending on a choice made earlier in the game so you only really need one. I did jump through the hoops to fuse this and it really helped.

Looks gorgeous. I always love games with art-inspired graphics. Here's hoping its on a system I own :)

Thanks! I read the review, kinda intrigued but reflexes and iOS don't always agree so I'll look at it again when it is released :)

I read the review for that Sorcery! game, but it requires iOS 5th Gen, and I have 4th. I'll have to check it out if I ever upgrade.

True, but at least there isn't the speed issue with bad controls on a turn based game.
Even action games with supposedly good controls I just suck at compared to a "proper" video game controller. I haven't enjoyed a single action game yet, and am tired of wasting my money on those. I just want something I can play for a short while at a time when I don't have my 3DS or VITA with me :)

Tried Knights of Pen and Paper before, didn't grab me :-\

I'll check out those word games and watch for that upcoming review!

True, but I am also looking for any turn based non-RPGs that people enjoyed - puzzle games, etc.

Quite a few of the reviewed games you enjoyed seem to be action RPGs, which I now avoid like the the plague due to sh*tty controls on an iOS device (need some bloody buttons for those kthxbai!). :)
192  Media / Miscellaneous Games / iOS game suggestions please on: August 16, 2013, 11:31:49 PM
So I am looking for an iOS game I can play - doesn't have to be an RPG but it does have to be compatible with 4th gen touch and does not require online connection.

I enjoyed FF Dimensions, Bejeweled, Ash, AshII (although I got suckered into buying the gold edition to get the other episodes they never made *grr*)

Chaos Rings was ok.... but repetative. Got fed up with grinding in Nameless.

Hate hate hate action games on the iOS. No action games period. Just does not work on a small screen like that!

First gen Canadian; rest of the family is 100% British Isles (or at least as far back as ye olde family tree shows...)

Persona 3 --- No love for Junpei and Chidori?
I liked how they slowly started, both unsure and shy, and love slowly blossoms from the unlikiest of pairs. Also, as the MC, you can encourage that love and affect how the relationship turns out.

Mass Effect --- Fem Shep and Garrus.
Ok yeah, my husband screams and covers his eyes whenever they get mushy but I like how the cocky Garrus gets all shy and uncertain about the opposite sex.

Digital Devil Saga --- Sera and Serph
I like seeing how the romance slowly grows between the two, and the side story with Heat competing for her affections. Its all the more poignant because [spoilers] Serph and Heat's roles were reversed in real life and the real Serph was quite the villain.[/spoilers]

There were some other great ones already mentioned: Locke and Celes, Tifa and Cloud, Tidus and Yuna.
