Finished Terra's story last night. I was completely taken by surprise how short it was. It only took 12 hours. I was really enjoying it and then it just ended. I don't know who to use next. I guess Ventus? I'm really intrigued to see their side of the story.
As others have said, save Aqua for last. That way you are more used to playing as her when you unlock the Final episode. Also in terms of chronology the episodes end in the order of Terra, Ven, and then Aqua.

^ Me too, but I was happy there was an option to skip it the second go around. :P

What's not to like about Graces?  Well, the dungeons, maybe.  But the battle system and peripheral adjuncts are an absolute blast, there's a ton of side content, and the cast and plot (even if not terribly amazing) are harmless.
Cheria and Asbel. I've gone over this several times before, but those two completely suck any joy I might have been able to get from the story of Graces. I can think of maybe one Tales of game that I like less than Graces thanks to them. >.>

So been watching the World Trigger anime finally (although I am playing Samurai Warriors 4 at the same time, which I consider semi-impressive since both are subbed). Not as bad as I have been lead to believe. I actually like some of the minor changes they have made such as introducing some characters a bit earlier during scenes that they naturally would have been there for. I have however laughed out loud at some of the scenes where there is just a complete pause in dialogue, also feel like they are over using flashbacks a bit. Not a complete ruining of the series.

Speaking of which, there was no chapter this week, I am thus bummed out. Also the One Piece chapter was meh. Food Wars was decent. Nothing else in Jump worth expecting anything from. >.> Although this week did advance my theory that Ywach in Bleach is actually Jesus (or at least in-universe equivalent. So yay?

It should be noted that Chris-Chan was a very popular target of trolling back in the mid to late 2000s. He's a high functioning autistic, and lead a very pampered life because of his disability, which coupled with a large dose of internet idiocy and the amazing 4chan community (/sarcasm) lead to his current state of problematic behavior and tendencies.

Long story short, I feel bad for him because he is a victim of the internet. Doesn't excuse his actions but it definitely gives a source to look at when therapists need reasons for why he is as fucked up as he is. Though I don't recommend reading further into it, you can google his name and get entire websites dedicated to him, as well as fucking with him.
I disagree, I just read the know your meme article on him, and while what happened to him was horrible and I feel bad for anyone having suffered through that, I do not think this activity has anything to do with the cyber bullying he has suffered. Unless it turns out that there is an email chain where someone told him this was a good idea, this is entirely on him. If there is such an email chain (which oddly enough does not seem impossible) then he is still at least partially to blame. Regardless, I hope he gets the help he needs, and I think part of that help is going to be him staying off the Internet for good.

P.S. Turns out I have actually heard of him before (or more accurately Sonichu).

wtf did blackwall leave my party?

after the ballroom scene i talked to him and he went on about a dead dog. now i can't pick him in missions and he's not at skyhold
He has an....enlightening event scene in the Orlesian capitol (which I cannot remember the name of atm). Go there, and look for the crowd of people. And then prepare to be shocked....unless you have been bringing him with you everywhere. Then it should make more than a few things make sense.

what's the point of no return for the wicked eyes and wicked hearts quest? i
i fought the venituri in the garden and the game wants me to talk to the duke or whatever but i want to clean up the doodads and mcguffins

I can't remember exactly what the point of no return is, but you are almost there. You should have a dance with the Duke's sister  and after that you'll be instructed to go to the other side of the building for....some reason? Somewhere in the middle of the exploring that wing you'll end up in another fight and the door you enter in will be locked behind you. After that you can only move forward and when you re-enter the Ballroom plot events happen. After which I was no longer able to explore the place (although if you get a different result, it might be possible that you can explore for a little longer....not actually sure on that).

I'm usually pretty bad on my follow through of multiple runs of a game even with the new content offered but I'm pretty excited to get to it with Muramasa. More so now with the info you offered up. The real cool thing about Muramasa, which is what I liked about odin sphere's narrative structure as well, is the way they TOTALLY let you know your only catching a glimpse of the big picture from one angle with each characters chapter/arc. In other words, both games clearly demand you play multiple characters to grasp the story they are telling. This is a way more compelling approach to multiple plays of a game then say, something like your standard new game + with a special ending, or even the likes of Tales of Xillia that offers up a different MC without much differential in terms of content. Some may argue that places a superficial hurtle or barrier to the full story where I feel it almost a necessary approach to take the monotony out of the repetition.
Eh the primary two storylines in Muramasa are not too closely tied together. Or at least no where near how closely tied together Odin Sphere. There is a connection between the storylines, but it is just sort of there and doesn't really impact much until you do Ending 2. Some of the DLC do a good job of touching on elements of the plots from the two primary stories. The way I view the stories in Muramasa is that they were written as though they were folktales with some attributes that fit with being folktales. So Kisuke and Momohime are written in such a way that it seems to me that they were originally supposed to be two separate stories that over the generations were loosely connected due to their similar subject matter and time period. Ending 1 for the two stories is how both ended in their original version. Ending 2 for both is an alternate ending that developed as people telling the stories decided to connect them closer together. Ending 3 for both meanwhile is the revisionist ending (in more ways than one) where the morality tale aspect of both stories are lost in exchange for a better ending.

The DLC is a little bit less consistent in terms of which endings are probably the original and which ones are the modified versions. For example DLC 1, I would probably put ending 2 as the original, but DLC 3 I would put Ending 1 as the original....not really sure which ending for DLCs 2 and 3 I would put as likely being the intended original. I could see both going either way.

This made my day, mostly because I haven't seen Chris-Chan or however you stylize his name in the interwebz news in a while. He maces a gamestop employee (I guess it's mace, the guy didn't really look phased by it) and according to the article, has been vandalizing copies of "Sonic Boom" because Sonic the Hedgehog's arms are now blue instead of white as they have always been. Not because the game sucks ornis poorly made, or because the cartoon they also have alongside the show is terrible, or because they turned Knuckles into a moronic brute with a physique similar to superman...but because Sonic's arms are blue.

Ahh, good ole Chris-Chan.
Sounds to me that Chris is guilty of battery and has posted video evidence of it. I hope law enforcement takes swift action (since he is apparently an admitted repeat offender) and that he is able to get the mental health help that he clearly requires.

Its Danny Pink you're thinking of.
....Wow. You know I am impressed at how little of an impression he left with me if I couldn't even remember his name less than 24 hours after watching his heroic sacrifice. I am going to put him as the weakest part of the season.

Just because he's dead doesn't really mean he's going to stay dead.
They could bring him back to life, they can have Clara travel back in time to see him again and get knocked up somewhere along the way or even
bring him back from the past as a series regular only to have a dramatic final episode where he "has to go back" knowing he's about to die.
Plenty of options really.
It's a show where writers can do whatever the  heck they want as long as they come up with a good enough excuse for it.
And I just realized that I don't like Clara anymore. I was thinking that this was her last season for some reason, but your comments made me look it up to find out I was wrong.....and then I felt a bit of pessimism for the next season. It is weird, I can't think of anything particular that I actively dislike about the actress or the character. I dunno, I'm thinking it may just be that I feel the current Doctor and Clara have a toxic relationship that is not fun to watch. I guess I'll just have to wait till next year for the next set of DVDs to see how things play out. >.>

I just got to Muramasa recently as my first outing with the PSTV and loved it. I only did Kisuke's scenario thus far although it was easily more the ample material to sell me on the rest. What I really love is how departed the gameplay feels from most titles that look like this coupled with how chaos mode almost make anti-leveling a decent approach. <--- That yielded a real fast and furious progression that complimented the combat and made the experience more enjoyable that I had expected. It isn't often I feel a side scrolling action title such as this feels all too original but Muramasa is special snowflake in all the right ways for me.
You need to hurry up and beat Momohime's storyline because there are a lot of aspects of the game that are still locked for you till you do that such as several of the swords, and endings 2 and 3 for Kisuke's story. Ending 2 for both characters has one of my favorite boss fights in the game. Then Ending 3 for Kisuke has the best ending in the game (which gets even better when paired with Ending 2 of DLC 3).

So I binge watched the DVDs for the most recent season of Doctor Who having not seen any of the episodes before. My overall thoughts? It was alright? I don't really like or dislike the new Doctor. He is perfectly serviceable as the Doctor, but coming on the heels of Matt Smith (my favorite Doctor) I just don't find myself feeling any strong emotions for him. The one thing I loved about this season was Missy, she was amazing and my only complaint is that they killed her off (for good, once again!). I'm sure the character will be back because I do not believe for a second that this character will ever die for good, but I doubt we'll be lucky enough to see a return of the actress.

I liked Deep Breath (well parts of it at least), Into the Dalek, Time Heist, Mummy on the Orient Express, and Dark Warter. I was pretty meh on the rest of the episodes. I'd probably put this season somewhere in the middle of the pack of the revival seasons.....actually maybe towards the bottom since I can't really think of too many bad seasons to cushion its position.

Side note, this season would seem to have a temporal paradox to it. In Listen we apparently meet Tommy's (wait was that his name? I can't seem to remember or sure a day later) descendant because his timeline was directly related to hers. The implication of course being that she was the time traveler's great-grandmother (and I don't see any other way that can be resolved). Under the very loose rules of time travel established that should mean that her having his grandfather should now be an observed point in time resulting in it being unchangeable. But apparently Tommy is dead now, so that isn't happening....unless Clara is currently pregnant. Actually, the better question is probably why I take the rule about a time traveler observing a result making that result unavoidable seriously when the Doctor constantly seems to think it is possible for all of humanity to be wiped out when he has seen futures where that clearly did not happen. God damn inconsistent time travel rules. >.>

So in summary, what was the point of Tommy's great grandson that will never come to be in Listen now?

Dammit, now I'm nostalgic for the unkillable Rory. He handled being a companion's significant other much better.....mostly because he was immune to death, but still. Ah Rory, you will always be near the top of my best companions list.

Been playing the fourth DLC in Muramasa. Why has no one mentioned that this came out? I only happened to find out about it by looking at my trophy list and noticing new unearned trophies in my Muramasa trophy list. New character is alright, I love her spinning move with her adult form as it wrecks everything. Really annoying that she only really has two forms most of the time when fighting bosses. Loving the opportunity to play the game some more though. Truly this game is one of my all time favorites.

If you like Dynasty Warriors games, you could pick up Hyrule Warriors. It has two player support and is one of the best Warriors games in recent memory.....I can't make any other recommendations as the only WiiU games I own are that and Smash.

Unfortunately, some of the lore just got me more confused because I haven't played Birth by Sleep or Chain of Memories. I think I'm going to play Birth by Sleep HD next to understand Dix and Xemnas a little better, followed by Chain of Memories. Saving that one for last because I still am not looking forward to the card crap. Probably will just play it on easy. Everyone let me know if this is a bad idea or if I should play Chain of Memories first.
If you have lore questions feel free to ask here or in PM. I know KHs lore inside and out for the most part, and I would love to help you make sense of the lore.

As for order, I would say that you should play CoM before KH2 and I would probably put BBS after KH2. If you aren't planning on replaying KH2, then I'm not sure there is a need to play CoM as I don't recall there being much new in terms of overall lore. CoM is mostly there to explain why Sora was missing for the 358 days between KH1 and KH2. Meanwhile, the Reverse Rebirth portion is primarily there to advance Riku's storyline, which then got ignored in KH2 as they decided to change where they wanted him to be or something (which is slightly disappointing since I love where he ends up in Reverse Rebirth). I mean there are some mysteries introduced, but if you have played KH2 you should know the answers to all of them already. If you do end up skipping CoM, I would recommend looking up what the exterior of Castle Oblivion looks like, as Castle Oblivion does come up again in the lore (although it is not named during that appearance).

Side note, took me a while to realize you meant DiZ when you said Dix. You really won't learn anything about him in BBS. Everything you learn about DiZ occurs in the KH2 Ansem reports and KH2 itself.

Speaking of BBS, I beat it last night, secret episode and all. All that is left for me now is destroying the four post game bosses three times over.....oh god I just know in my gut that No Heart is going to make me cry many times today. I'm sure Unknown will make me cry several times as well. *sigh* the shit I go through for 100%.....oh fudge I forgot about that infernal hell spawned rhythm game I still need to address. Why did they need to attach a trophy to that hell spawn. >.>

...and yet we play and enjoy tons of JRPGs with protagonists who are even more stupid and gullible.  None take us to BoobieLand, though (perhaps a Compile Heart game though.)  In an early translation of Pinocchio (the one I have as my Kindle freebie), Toyland (aka Pleasure Island) is mistranslated as BoobieLand since.  Now I'm curious if the Italian words for toy and booby are similar.
I can not think of a single RPG with a character so stupid or gullible to believe in a field of miracles that you can plant gold in to get a gold tree, AFTER being tricked by the same two people multiple times before.....okay I admit JRPG heroes due tend to trust people who betrayed them, but not for something that stupid.

As for the translation, The original Italian was Paese dei Balocchi. Google translate gives toys for Balocchi. Looking for the Italian version of 'booby' gives me tonto or sciocco, so I think the translator for that edition you have just took some liberties with their translation.

In the Carlo Collodi novel, you do find out what happens to Lampwick/Lucignolo.  In the movie, the donkey crates are marked either for the salt mines or the circus, but their fates are more varied in the book.  And, obviously, Disney took a bunch of creative liberties with the story.  It's been a while since I read it, so I'll need to read it again.
I don't know how you can read it multiple times. I read the Wikipedia summary every so often when the topic of Pinocchio comes up, and I cannot imagine reading a book with the protagonist that stupid. Plus the book just sounds unpleasant all around. I mean some of those old fairy tales have something of a dark humor to them when viewed from a modern perspective (like Snow White or Cinderella), but I just don't see it with Pinocchio.
