I just want the wool Yoshi Amiibo....

Which one? There are currently three out and a fourth mega one coming out next month. You can get the pink one on Amazon right now for MSRP.

I am somewhat dreading Moeka's section.  I found her interrogation in the anime to be rather... unpleasant.  I guess I'll see what happens when I get there.
...you know I do not actually remember what the interrogation scene is like in the game. I'll just say that that is not the portion of Moeka's section that I was referring to. >.>

Steins; Gate.  Knowing the major plot twist in advance didn't make it any easier to watch.
I've gotten Suzuha's ending, which is the first significant departure from the anime.  It was also pretty depressing.  It might be a good idea if I took a break from this for a while...but I'm unlikely to take my own advice.

It's a funny thing, but I've become attached to these characters, not because I particularly like them, but more because I've... spent time with them, I guess?  Their quirks kinda grow on you, after a while.

If the gravitational whatchamacallit coordinates are just a teensy bit off, the whole time machine becomes a jellyman and goes ploop.

You should try and get all the alternate endings as those existing are the major divergence from the show. Also the show follows the visual novel fairly closely...except for the Moeka section where the show made a fairly substantial change...and I am uncertain which version is better. You'll know it when you see.

So am I the only one having a hard time figuring out where in the timeline this is supposed to be occurring? It doesn't seem to be occurring after any of the endings. Since both Lucifer and the chariot of God (forgot how to spell his name) are in the promo image, it is presumably after the whole dimension travelling portion of 4. But that leaves a very small window of time for things to happen...unless this is an alternate universe where 4's MC failed to return?

Ugh, Toriko's latest arc is a disaster to the point I think the manga is getting canned soon. After Human World it hasn't been the same, but Air and Pair were still more or less proper arcs. Another got a normal build up, but just got cut for pointless hype chapters. Well, maybe it's better if it's going to get rushed. I don't want to experience the war arc of Naruto again by the looks of how things are shaping up.
At this point, I consider it to be a mercy killing, although I'm not sure whether the author decided it wasn't working or if he got a cancellation notification. I mean it was clear that the thing was being wrapped up early when the team split up (and then we focused on the most boring of the groups), but from what I have been hearing the scanlations from next week's chapter seem to indicate that it is being kicked up inot high gear...and I am okay with that.

At this point I am just praying that the inevitable (and currently unrevealed) second female party member has a better persona choice than Carmen.

In all honesty, I highly suspect that Carmen Sandeigo is still under someone's copyright and thus was never actually an option to begin with. That said, it was still less stupid than what we got.
Carmen Sandeigo is most certainly still under copyright. General rule of thumb for copyright, is it younger than Mickey Mouse? If so then probably under copyright (excluding weird cases like Night of the Living Dead). Also I feel like Carmen Sandeigo is mostly an American thing, so P5 developers may not have even ever heard of her. *shrug*

Beat Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker over the weekend. Extremely well done all things considered. I'm so close atm to getting one of the ultimate weapons in the game (just need to beat one mission), but it just is not working. So on to grinding R&D ranks so I can build a silenced sniper rifle and just head shot all the stupid escort troops without them knowing. >.>

Finished MGS2 and MGS3. Those damn frogs in MG3 are evil. I spent several hours trying to get the ones in the chase scenes. Pure evil. >.>

Started MG: Peace Walker. Not too far into it yet.

I'm happy to play these games and pretend I get the story for the sake of some fun friendship drama with a layer of Star Wars on top...but yeah I have no idea what's happening beyond broad strokes.
What is confusing in BBS? O.o The series isn't even close to being confusing until 3D.

Actually let's throw that into the unpopular opinions pile. KH is not confusing. :p

I wonder if KS is a passing trend, I feel like it's getting more issues than successes, and there's so much chances for abuse of it (see MNo9)
Eh KS is just as strong now as it has always been from my perspective. Pillars of Eternity funded in October 2012 with 3.9 million and Shenmue 3 funded with 6.3 million in July. Since 2012, I have backed 75 projects, and of those 75 there are maybe 2 or 3 where I have any regrets over backing them. Kickstarter is a great platform, and it is here to stay.

You just have to be careful on what you back as there are a lot of projects where the creators have no idea of what they are doing (although most of those are easy to spot).

= Square Enix hasn't had a game with a good story in like a decade.
*double checks release date of BBS* Lies! Square Enix has had at least one game with a good story in the past ten years. :p

Officially abandoned once again my playthrough of Persona 3 FES: The Answer. It isn't even so much the lack of the social gameplay, after all I love a good dungeon crawler. Rather, the add-on fails to offer any kind of hook story-wise even after the first two dungeons. It's just hard to invest in something that doesn't want to promise any kind of payoff.

I can tell you what the "payoff" is...

It reveals why the MC of Persona 3 ends up dying at the end.

Beat Metal Gear Solid 2 on Very Easy last night with all dog tags. Now onto Easy to collect all of those dog tags so I can get infinite ammo...which seems fairly useless unless ammo gets rare on higher difficulties.

We got some names! Not sure if it counts as spoilers or not, but I'll use tags just in case. Fox mask guy and Persona names forthcoming:
fox mask guy: Yusuke Kitagawa
Protagonist's Persona: Arsène
Anne's Persona: Carmen
Ryuji's Persona: Captain Kidd
Morgana's Persona: Zorro
Yusuke's Persona: Goemon

They're all famous thieves!

Yeah I sort of guessed Zorro upon seeing that persona making a Z with a rapier during the last trailer. Knew Ryuji's was a pirate also, even if I wasn't sure which one. Going to guess his upgrade is Blackbeard. Not familiar with either Arsène or Carmen. I'm not sure how I feel about all of their personas being thieves. On one hand it does fit with concept of the game, but at the same time a persona is supposed to represent the face that you show to the world and yet I doubt these characters are not hiding the fact that they are acting as thieves. I suppose a counter to that is that the thieves that are their persona probably also hid their identities (except maybe Captain Kidd), but I dunno. Almost feel like these persona make more sense as their shadows, although I suppose a persona is just a tamed shadow in universe so that may have something to do with it? *shrug*
