Hey, there might have been some universal translator device in there somewhere, I dunno.

What really surprised me is that, as soon as he noticed I had atleast some interest in the insides of my laptop, he give me some pointers so I'd be better prepared to tackle something like this myself in the future. Like holy shit, people in this business don't usually assume their customers have working brains! (Which is, I guess, not totally unfair, but still...)
You must have walked into a TARDIS disguised as a computer repair shop. Be on the watch for alien attacks in your city.

Cliffhanger Ending: Yes/No?
For Cold Steel 1? I feel yes is too weak of an answer. Cold Steel 2? I've heard less so than 1 but with some unresolved plotlines for 3.

I spent yesterday working because I had nothing to do on my day off. I'll be taking Friday off instead because today I get Trails of Cold Steel 2! Went to the gym yesterday also. Normally only go on Tues and Thursday, but since I had nothing to do figured I would go ahead and get my Tuesday workout out of the way so I have an extra hour with CS2 today.

As for moves, break dancing pig move in Color Splash video.

Also, I imagine Rose in a more modern context as a fierce bisexual with a penchant for pain (giving or receiving, who can really say for sure?)

I officially have no idea what's going on anymore.
Look all you have to do is reverse the polarity flow on the cheese by putting it through the ionizing grater. This will cause the space-time continuum to temporarily stop, allowing you to speak with a goat name Bob. He can explain everything to you. Just make sure you don't do this after midnight because if you do then the cheese will get stuck in the carburetor creating tachyons which will cause you to meet a goldfish named Fylan instead. Fylan has no idea what is going on, so he'll just end up lying to you about it until he convinces you that you need to put on a clown suit in order for everything to make sense. And while that is necessary, he'll tell you to go to Tennessee while wearing it which is not necessary at all. Oh and as always, remember your crossbow because today is Tuesday.

P.S. Beware the dancing cat, it wishes to dance on your grave.

i think amiibo's are stupid. hey lets make dlc but make you buy a physical item to get it! how does nintendo not get shit on for this?
People have been complaining about amiibos since they were first announced. You just don't see a lot of people complaining about them these days because the idea is old news and nothing major has been locked behind amiibos in any major releases. So everyone who is uninterested in amiibos tends to just ignore the news about them. I'm sure there will be significant complaining about them again once the next Zelda game is out and people realize they are unable to get the Wolf Link companion without the Wolf Link Amiibo (and without playing Twilight Princes).

For me though, UI'm just going to be enjoying adding 8-bit Link to my collection along with OoT Link because Amiibos are good quality physical items.

Just beat Star Ocean 5 at 25 hours...wow that was bad. I'd say that it is the worst game I have played this year, but I did play Nights of Azure a few months ago. Very hard to make a call between which of those two is worse. Seems like all the good RPGs I own on the PS4 are rereleases. Kind of disappointing. >.>

Not going to bother with even trying to go for 100%. This unfortunately leaves me in an awkward position of having nothing to play for the remainder of the day or tomorrow. I'm planning on working on Monday despite it being a holiday (and then taking Friday off). So a bit more than a day and a half of no games until Trails of Cold Steel 2 comes out. The waiting is going to be torture. x_x If only I could find someone who broke street date!

So playing Star Ocean 5 still...Rellia just got kidnapped. I think I've lost count of how many times that has happened at this point. I feel like she is competing with Princess Peach for highest number of successful kidnappings and she might be winning. Worst part is, the game has done nothing to make me connect to her other than make her a kid and assume I have to care for her as a result. Ugh. Hopefully can just finish this up tomorrow. >.>

I'd want just the Toon Zelda amiibo to add to my collection of Zelda (the princess, not the series) figures. Too bad it's not actually possible to buy limited edition Nintendo products.
The Amiibos are now up on Amazon. Only down side is if you want the Toon Zelda, she is only in a two pack with Toon Link as far as I can tell.

On the topic of Amiibos, they are live on Amazon as I type this (just preordered all 4 myself).

I am content with the Nintendo direct. New Amiibo for my collection. Dark Rattata was revealed...not exactly excited about the Rattata, but it does point towards a specific leak being right. And some other stuff in that leak make me happy. :D

I am so confused by Star Ocean 5. I feel like I got a defective disk where half the dialogue isn't triggering in every cut scene. Everything is just so bare bones. >.> Like I have two party member who joined while I was being chased by enemies by saying they were being chased out of town as well. The party accepted it (for whatever reason) and now they are just there with no asking "Why are you still here? We have gone back and forth between two countries twice now. Don't you have your own stuff to take care of or something?"

I know why they are there, I just don't know why everyone in the party is accepting it. And I feel like everything in the story so far is just as bare bones. This isn't a bad story (so far) it just isn't fleshed out in the slightest. It is more of a story outline than an actual story.

Edit: And I just noticed that I'm only 10 hours in and my characters are level 39.

@ RANADIEL - Congrats on the dedication to Trails there good sir. 3 play-throughs of a meaty RPG like that is respectable for sure! I tip my hat.
Not only was this my third playthrough, but I talked to EVERY NPC after every story event. I saw a fuck ton of text and discovered a few new minor things in the game that I had missed previously. There are only two or three conversations that I am aware of that I missed. All of which came from spending time with a party member causing dialogue with a tangentially related character to change when I was no where near a save. Really wish I could jump straight into Cold Steel 2 now....especially since Star Ocean 5 is living up to its reputation. x_x

Beat my third playthrough of Trails of Cold Steel just now. Love the ending so much. Still not completely sure which dance partner I am going to import into 2. I'm probably going to pair Rean up with Towa at the end of 2 as my canon clear...but the Fie conversation at the end of Cold Steel 1 is so much better than Towa's (brief) conversation. Ugh. Still have a week to decide I suppose. >.>

And for that week, I shall be playing...Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness? I guess? Need to play it at some point, and since I have no intention of 100% it, I think I can knock it out in a week from what I recall hearing regarding its length. And if not, I should have no qualms with shoving it aside for a month or two if it is as bad as I recall hearing it was. A shame Trails of Cold Steel 2 couldn't come out a week earlier though. I would love to be able to play it on Labor Day (one of like 10 days off I get in the year) rather than getting it the day after.

Crossing the street in India is like playing a "heads I win, tales you lose" game of Frogger.  The only things that have immunity are bovines.  The only time you'll see motorists slow down, be careful, and give wide berth is if there's a cow on the road.

No major haps, but more reflections:

1)  Am I the only one who doesn't like to take selfies, especially when traveling? I feel like if I'm at a cool place, I don't need to take a selfie to say, "Hey, look at me! I'm at this cool place!" I'd rather just take photos of that cool place and let the place speak for itself.

The solution seems obvious then, ride a bovine when you need to cross the street! :p

I hate getting pictures of myself being taken period. I have had discussions with family members before after returning from a trip where they were wondering where the photos of myself were (answer, there was maybe one because someone I was travelling with insisted I take one). I just don't get it.

you know that thing when you're flipping through pictures and you find one of yourself, and the only thing you can think is like
who the heck is that?
Can't say I have ever had that experience. Other than hair thickness, I don't think I really look that different than I did when I was younger (hell most of my clothes I have owned for around a decade and they still fit the same). I have had the opposite experience though.

One time when my family was digging through photos, my sister showed me a photo. My first reaction to the photo was "Yeah it is a picture of me, okay? Why am I being shown this like it is a big deal?" About 20 seconds later my thought was, "Wait why is this picture of me black and white?" Shortly afterwards, "Wait why am I wearing a baseball uniform? I would remember if I played baseball....oh this is a picture of my dad when he was a kid. I was unaware of the fact that I looked just like him when he was younger."

I made it to Ho chi Minh despite Vietjet doing everything but crashing the plane to stop me. Complete wankers!

Crossing the street here is the most dangerous thing I've ever done!

Yeah crossing the street in foreign cities tends to be dangerous. Well maybe not every foreign city as I recall London and Tokyo not being too bad, but Paris and Beijing? I am amazed I made it out of both of those cities without any injuries. The motorists there just do not care about pedestrians in the slightest.

I should have said won fights against consequential characters. :p And I disagree with him winning his Soul Society fight. At the end of the fight one of the combatants was getting out scott free and one of them was about to die had it not been for the intervention of a third party. Uryu was not the one to get off scott free. At best you could call it a draw.

Hey, don't be so mean. It was not that bad. He did a lot more damage than Chad ever did (sorry, Chad) and he managed to keep Orihime save.
Best you will get out of me is that Uryu got a draw since both him and the crazy scientist were out for the rest of the arc. And I will also admit that having a draw against a consequential opponent does give him one of the best records amongst Ichigo's friends (easily beating Chad, Orihime, and Ganju).Renji and Rukia both have at least one win (although I suppose one could argue about which if any of those were against consequential opponents).

Side note, I was thinking about it while I was working out today, and I felt like I should list off some good fights that had combatants that could only fight unarmed. So top fights would be Rock Lee vs. Gaara and Mighty Guy vs. Madara in Naruto. If you want to be technical they do use kicks (which Chad has never done as I recall), so for just punches I would say any Takeda fight from History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi...I would not recommend that series for anything but the fights, but the fights are good (despite the shameless fan service in the series) and most Takeda fights are pretty great (and there were far too few of them).
