Knight of Lodis is one of the best approximations of Final Fantasy Tactics without playing Final Fantasy Tactics.  I already like it loads better than FFTA.  I might dive right into Let Us Cling Together after I finish.

The respective last stands of more than half of FF IV's main cast.  Even if most of them survive.

FROG. CUTS. MOUNTAIN.

When you see Zack's final moments in Crisis Core just before and during the end credits, it's something really special.  100x better than the same scene playing out in FF VII.

And that was your Square in the 90s Badass Minute.

Playing more Tactics Ogre Knight of Lodis.  Currently iI'm at a map called Ostorea Castle, which has two consecutive encounters that can't share units. Basically, you ought to have 16 characters around level 20 to challenge the first two stages (eight for each one). I have 13 characters TOTAL, and zero of them are at level 20. Only nine of them are above level 12, with most of those nine in the level 17-19 range. I have some character creation and level grinding to do. Gonna get on that.

I find it unusual that the most AMERICAN game ever was made in Japan.

Fuck yeah

Almost done with inFamous 2.  Gonna wrap up the story, then do some UGC grinding for trophies.  I think I'll 100% this one by tomorrow.

...from Index Corp and not Atlus. I'm sure they'll find a buyer soon. Marvelous and Square-Enix both make sense, but I won't place any bets.

Three more days!  My brain is ready....

I am 37 hours into Okami. I did not expect it to be this long.
It's not a slog exactly, but I'm ready for it to be done.

The endgame starts when you get to the snow country.
I would say that Okami has three central acts (starting area, Imperial province, snow country), and then an endgame where you enter the giant monolith-thing after beating the pair of bosses in the ice temple place.  But whatever. Semantics.  Game took me a good 40-45 hours when I played it last year.

AnyHOW, still playing inFamous 2 and it's awesome.  Screwing around in Gas Works, still wary about trying UGC missions.  After this I'll either return to Knight of Lodis or fire up another PS3 game.

I think my favorite PS3-exclusive game is inFamous 2.  Is that... weird?  Whatever, this game rules.  This is my third playthrough, and I'm taking care to max out my powers for a few stray trophies.  I will try and do some UGC stuff later as well.  Very early in the Flood Town section (3rd of 4 "chapters" in inFamous 2).

HyperDuck is probably my favorite, but I also have lots of love for Danny Baranowsky. Three boss tracks from Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac:

The Ballad of Lil Slugger
Fast Track to Browntown
Divine Combat

Sorry, no idea D.

Best game intro cinematic ever: Into the Wilderness
(I'm sure it's already been posted, but this song deserves it)

Started a new game of Chrono Trigger a few nights ago to take a break from Knight of Lodis.  Gotta get ready for trivia next week :)

Good new recording, guys.  I think I'm going to add "Robert openly pines for a 3DS" to the list for the Rhythm Encounter Drinking Game rules.

I only read Bleach because I'm caught up and reading a new chapter takes 5 minutes of my week (plus I like crazy Spanish-German-Japanese wordplay).  It's not really one of my favorites anymore, but I'll keep up with it and see it through to the end; I could say the same for Naruto, HSDK, and Gantz.  At least Naruto seems to be moving towards a final confrontation.

I really enjoy Beelzebub because of the comedy and because it takes the "juvenile delinquent with demon powers" bit to a pretty interesting place.  It's basically Yu Yu Hakusho but with more Dragon Quest jokes and a better cast.  And I actually like the current arc a lot, because they're finally back in high school fighting other super-delinquents nstead of screwing around with a giant army of forgettable demons.  Beelzebub is my favorite SJ title other than One Piece.

And I agree that the first run of The Breaker is better, especially since Nine Arts Dragon is the most compelling character in either half, but I'm really, really happy with the recent developments.
