Do you enjoy -

- an open world?
- hundreds of side quests?
- a subdued, western style of storytelling?
- intriguing characters?
- revenge plots?
- real time combat?
- an in-depth character customization system?

If you answered yes to all those things (and let's face it everyone likes those things) then you should try FFXII.

XII pretty much sidesteps that characterization, though.

We're busy with a lot of stuff. As you know, we work for free, receive little to no reward other than the occasional hate mail that we can laugh at, and balance these things with our personal lives/relationships, work, and studies, where applicable. It's not like writing a short piece whining about a company not bringing out the games we want, when we want them.

Passive aggressive posts about how slow we are will not help reviews be done any faster. It'd be much appreciated if you would lose the attitude.

What part of his post was passive aggressive? I'm sure everyone who uses this site is appreciative of your hard work and reviews, but it doesn't give you an excuse to jump on someone for asking a simple and inoffensive question. I really don't mind being banned for the rebuke, but perhaps you would do well to "lose the attitude".

I just don't see why they felt the need to obfuscate every miniscule detail in the combat system. The game wasn't long enough for half the stuff to even matter.

It really is a complete 180 from the vast majority of MMO conventions, though. And visually exquisite to boot. The yogscast did a great runthrough of the game with the limited time they had. You can watch below.

He said you could marry any of your allies, ergo there is gay marriage.

About time, Japan!

Well if we're being completely staid in our judgement then Bank Of America would hardly rank as the worst either.

Their devotion to fucking people over is laudable, I must say.

This game is going to be so fucking good.
28  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic (RPGFan Guild Edition) on: April 03, 2012, 08:09:12 PM
Is the game worth purchasing solely for the single player experience? I'm quite partial to Star Wars and interactive-dialogue-choice-things.
29  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: What one RPG would you award 100% to? on: March 29, 2012, 12:23:10 AM
I don't think any RPG really deserves 100%, but Chrono Cross comes immoderately close to perfection for me.
