I'm really interested in which Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem are crossing over. It should most likely be the characters from the Devil Survivor series, seeing as its the same genre, but what about Fire Emblem? Just mix and match?

Finished Chapter 13 and got like five paralogs. Mind blown. I do have a question about the twist in Chapter 13. So if everything post Chapter 11, is two years afterwards. And Lucina is from ten years in the future, doesn't that make her around 12-14? And doesn't that make the kids I'm about to recruit 2? The timeline in this game is odd.

That was the worst press conference I've seen since the last Microsoft press conference. Three games. Three games for a new console were shown at a video game press conference. The only truly interesting one being Remedy's new game. Microsoft better redeem itself at E3. PS4 is looking better and better.

So I decided to use my first master seal on Chrom, and I almost freaked out when it lowered him down to level 1. Then I realized it didn't really matter since his stats were around the same as before he did it. When do I get to recruit my troops' kids? I just married Chrom to Sumaria, Virion to Sully, and Lissa to my Avatar. The last one was totally by accident, because I didn't know what was going on.

So I invested in this game as my second 3ds purchase, and don't regret it for a second. Except when the damn villagers ran straight into the Risen on Paralog 3. I mean seriously?

Shin Megami Tensei IV (9/9/10/9, 37 points): The hardcore RPG folks at Famitsu couldn't get enough of the new SMT, by far their favorite portable title of the week. "The game does a great job of guiding you in through the tutorial," Ebihara wrote, "and I'm impressed how open it is to even beginners to the series. Despite that, the difficulty's set so that you're always toeing the line between life and death, and the Shin Megami Tensei-style tension is present in every battle."
"The battle system, where you strike at enemies' weak points in order to increase your number of turns, is as simple as it is thrilling," Yoshida added. "It's easy as always to get enthralled in demon fusions, and the 'recommendation' feature for fusions is also convenient."Source: Polygon They didn't say anything bout the story. Damn you Polygon for not putting full review. And if it was the full review: Damn you famitsu for being lazy.

I think Atlus knows its audience enough not to do #2. Although I don't think they would consider option #3 either.
EDIT: Atlus opened the doors on SMT IV for America, and dang does it sound great. Although the main character being named Flynn is a little...odd.

Just from those, I can tell this isn't going to be in the vein of Nocturne. Since everyone isn't, ya know, dead. Nocturne's atmosphere was awesome, I'm hoping this one sets out for a great atmosphere that's all its own.
Also, finally played Soul Hackers. Been waiting a week to get my hands on a 3DS. Nemissa is awesome. Its kind of odd, how nobody is really questioning Hitomi's schizophrenic behavior. The story did start off really well. The gameplay kind of slapped me in the face. I got to the first boss really fast, wondering why the game hasn't said anything about demon gathering, and I lost.
Went back with a couple demons, beat it in no time. I'm nearing the end of the warehouse now, I just hope the game can keep up the pretty good pace.

I'm wondering what this history OST will consist of. SMT 1 & 2 tracks? Or just localized stuff?
Also, it's kind of a shame they never exploited the 20th/25th anniversary last year.
They were too busy exploiting Persona 4 to notice. I'm surprised we'd be getting the History OST, considering we never got SMT 1 or 2. You'd think those two would be considered really lost games by now. We usually get all of them these days, with a few glaring exceptions.

The graphics aren't the best, but the lighting seems fantastic. I understand why many didn't like GTA IV's story, but I enjoyed it. The story for this one looks pretty good.

Injustice is not even that great... unless if you are into that comic shit I guess. *shrug*
Fighting games to me now, are only as good as their single player. I rented it, it had a pretty decent story, but a lot of the time, it felt like they were putting in fights, just for the sake of having 4 fights each character, unless your Batman and you get 9 because you are god damn Batman. I do like how Injustice did the story though, going by chapters, each with a new character continuing off the last, and building a story. P4A had a good story, but not good enough for me to justify playing through it 9 times with a different character.
