I guess you could say...
Code:
the wedding band killed it tonight!
Yeah, I haven't read the books, but I did know what was going down. The way it started off was crazy.

I can't say, being that I haven't read the books, still working on the first one. However, I don't think much has been taken from the fourth book, as this is supposed to be the first half of A Storm of Swords, but again, I have no idea.

I think the season was pretty great compared to most television comedies. Not the best season of the show, but not my least favorite. Then again, it'd be pretty hard to rank Arrested Development seasons because each is so good. I must admit though, the first episodes of this new season were a little rocky, especially Lindsey's, but they are better on the second watch. Except for Lindsey's.

Also, how bout that Game of Thrones!!

I barely used fusion spells and I beat the game just fine on normal. I'm not sure if that is a possibility on Eternal Punishment though, since its basically The Answer to Innocent Sin's the Journey. Although, you know...worth it.

I do think that it is a good game, great compared to a lot of games, but the gameplay is just really boring to me. I enjoyed what I played, I just don't think I ever want to go back.

Okay, now I'm playing Digital Devil Saga. Had to restart it since I screwed myself mantra wise. I wasn't to far in though, just at the second dungeon. Now I am at the third, and I just got to Mick's room. The skeleton dude one shotted me with venom fang. I had to walk away for a minute after that.

I am really enjoying this game, but the encounter rate is annoying. Although with that its a win lose scenario. Win: I level up and finish mantras. Lose: I have to do so many damn random encounters.

They confirmed him for Series 8, and than unconfirmed him. I'm guessing someone jumped the gun during negotiations. Whoever confirmed him are assholes. They gave me hope and took it away dang it!

Ah, I might invest in the first one then. Thanks everyone!

This post made me do some reading up on this game, and the series seems pretty dang interesting. I don't have a ps3 atm, but are the first two any good?

I'm at the final boss in Soul Hackers. The magical one I think, because I killed Tiamat. What demons are good for this fight, because the ones I have now suck.

Already?  Weren't you just at the...
Code:
Haunted House to save Six
?  How much more did you have to play to get to that?

Yup. I'm rushing through it basically. Probably about ten more hours afterwards. Last night was a bit sleepless :D.

Also Farron, its a good game, but if you have trouble with the archaic fighting in P2, this is just as archaic, but not as easy, in fact its a quite a bit more difficult.

Look up The Way, its an episodic rpg made in Rpgmaker 2000. Its about six episodes, and has some of the best writing I've seen in an indie game.
Hero's Realm is a great call back to the RPG years of old. Both of these games are free too.

That is ironic... I put it down at the EXACT same spot a week ago myself... It is really rare for me to abandon a title this far into it but I (like you) just don't seem to have a real itch to continue.

I imagine I will pick it back up once I finally polish off P2 EP, but I am not looking forward to that boss fight... I think I lost like 9 times in a row last I turned it on-LoL

Well you have Persona 2 EP as an excuse. I have started so many SMT games its ridiculous. This is the farthest I've made it into an SMT game since I beat P2 IS like four months ago. Soul Hackers has been very enjoyable for me thus far, but once I put it down, I just never wanted to pick it up again. The story is great, but the gameplay is so uninteresting. Kind of like my feelings towards P2. I think I'm doing with this game, what I did with that. Playing it nonstop when I get it, getting burnt out. And never really wanting to pick it up. Although when I did it with P2, the minute I picked it up, i was not going to put it down. Soul Hackers doesn't give me that feeling.

Also random thought, but am I the only one who really loved the Deva Yuga in P1? I started humming the theme to that earlier, although Revelations: Persona had more moody music, the PSP version seems to me like the music is FAAAAR better out of context.

Edit: Mayone is beat. Just had to do some creative fusing, and beat that awful woman. Didn't need Byako either. I got Kaso with Marakaran who would cast it right as they were about to hit with powerful attacks. Ten hours in, half way through. Either this game is short or I'm fast.

Squeenix also loves me not buying their games. The last game I bought from them was Deus Ex, and how much did they have to actually do with the making of that game?

Oh yeah, I got leprechaun. Doesn't help much, my party is destroyed within seconds. I can't get Byako until I'm level 40 though, and I'm level 38.
135  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Megami Tensei Topic on: May 28, 2013, 02:11:46 PM
So I've finally picked up Soul Hackers again, but man, this game just doesn't excite me. The Haunted House got a bit annoying so I just put on auto map and easy and rushed through it. The dungeon itself is cool though. I like how your choices affect how difficult that boss fight can be too. I just didn't feel the want to actually try at it though.

Now I'm on the Mayone fight and getting my ass handed to me. If I grind up two levels I can make Byakko with marakaran, where can I grind that will actually give me xp? That optional dungeon doesn't give me very much xp per fight.

Edit: I also picked up Strange Journey. Does anyone know where i can get some cover scans, because mine didn't come with a case.
