Yeah, Genocider Jill was the point I stopped trying to make sense of the story and just decided to go along with the ride. Seriously though, she is brilliant.

I freaking love this game and still hold it as the best in the series. The guilds were top notch, there were sidequests everywhere, secrets to find, really the series at its peak. Aside from a few gameplay improvements in Skyrim, it wasn't really that great in my eyes. Dragons got old quick, the guilds were disappointing at best, and there were few memorable quests. That only elevates Oblivion in my eyes.

I'm going to put it on the back burner for a bit, and wait till I finish a couple other games like Stick of Truth and Escha and Logy. This one requires to much thought for my brain with so many other games going on right now.

So I never got to finish Escha and Logy, which I will remedy this weekend, because of being away from my PS3. So, I impulse bought Totori Plus on my Vita.So far it is like a slap to the face telling me to wake up. There isn't any of that structure from Escha and Logy, now I'm my own boss. I don't know quite how I feel about that though. The game just kind of throws you in there. I don't know if I'm doing anything right or not. It is kind of freeing and terrifying at the same time.

I tried really hard to like Hyperdimension Neptunia, but it had a very cheap feel. The battles took way to long to load, took way to long to fight, and took way to long to get me back to the  exploration. It got really annoying when i was trying to do a couple of them time trials. I did however enjoy the battle system, I thought it had a good concept. My main problem with it was getting buried in the menus, and the fact that again, it took way to long to do simple stuff.

59:56. I beat the game. 50.48 I beat the game again on hard mode. Also, on hard mode I managed to take out over 30 guards by turtling in and out of cover. After the main mission, I thought I was about to get another one, what with the content of the cutscene, but nope. I did think the gameplay was fantastic, aside from the fact that it was to easy to go through guns blazing if you have any sort of skill at shooters.

I'm eager to explore more of the base now, but I really hope these shooter aspects disappear by the Phantom Pain.

Playing Escha and Logy, I haven't really ever been confused though. I know that a couple of the characters are from Ayesha though, it doesn't hurt the story by any means. It just makes me want to pickup Atelier Ayesha to see what I am missing.

I was surprised no one was talking about Escha and Logy, seeing as it just came out like 6 days ago. I happened to pick it up, and as my first Atelier game, I'm going to say it was money well spent. Words can not describe how much I freaking love this game right now. Synthesizing is buckets of fun, and the character models are just fantastic. Hopefully the next one hops to PS4 though. Doubt it seeing as its the final entry in the Dusk trilogy.

Also any word on if Ayesha Plus is heading to America?
39  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Listen to his story again... on: March 13, 2014, 04:56:03 PM
Bad news about the Vita version, only FFX is on the cartridge, so you have to download FFX-2 separately. I really would have liked to have gotten it on my Vita, but the fact is that I still just have a 4 gb harddrive, and I don't feel like upgrading because they couldn't spend the money on an extra cartridge. PS3 version it is then, whenever I feel like I need to actually play Final Fantasy X. Spoony's videos kind of turned me off of the game.

April 16. I still had the receipt. Fun game, got burnt out on it pretty quick though. But for my first buy on 3ds, it was a good one.

I've been a big fan of South Party since I was 8, so this is a no brainer for me. Really excited for it.

I learned who the mastermind three hours before the game happened to tell me. I still quite enjoyed those three hours.

So I beat the story. Now I can run through school mode like fifty times and get the platinum. Overall I enjoyed it, probably about as much as I did VLR. Except I liked the ending of this one much more. While it kind of left you hanging, it still fit as a conclusion, with the themes of hope and whatnot. Can't wait till Fall.

I got to Deadly Life on the second chapter, and I freaking love this game. I don't agree with you on the blood thing though Zeron. The game isn't scary no, but the blood never made it less scary, because I never found the game scary at all. For me the blood color seemed to fit the overall sort of Popart style the game had going on.

And while this game may have been trying to be scary, it wasn't, but it hasn't affected my gameplay. I still do get a large sense of dread whenever that music starts playing, and you realize someone is probably going to end up dead soon.

Also Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair announced. YAY! I wish they kept super in the title though.
45  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Zero Escape 3 might never come to fruition, no funding, aka WORST NEWS EVER! on: February 14, 2014, 11:10:56 AM
I don't. This is. What the. GRRRRRRRRRRRR. I would be 100% less mad if the last one didn't end on a cliffhanger. This is why people need to stop making the second game in the series setup for the next game in the series. I love VLR to death, but damn.
