Eureka 7 sounds great. If I can find a place to watch it, I'll check it out.

Violence for the sake of comedy in a video game to lighten the mood of said video game is perfectly fine. Every game has serious moments, but unless the game is really, really, really dark and serious, I'd like to have some comedy in there. Rita's violence is funny to me, and I'm sure to some other people too. Its a light hearted moment in a video game, that you shouldn't take so damn seriously, unless it is totally offensive, which I don't see here.

Whats wrong with you fools? Rita FTW. Mainly because she has been known to hurt Karol. I've only played Vesperia, and have nothing to compare it too, but the game is very good so far. There are a few difficulty spikes though. So if you try the demo for that one, just know that the game is better than that.

Funimation has Steins;gate on Youtube. They have the first six episodes of the dub, and the entire thing subbed on their channel.

The anime has been licensed, but the VN hasn't been released. There is a fan translation though. I tried that first, but the game's story moves really slowly. The anime has been faulted for starting off slow, but that is with the first 8 episodes, vs. the first 18 hours.

Just finished Steins;Gate, late to the party I know, but damn was that show good.

I have never watched any Gundam. Where should I start? Or should I start?

Also is Eureka 7 any good?

Don't say that so early. You haven't finished it yet for one, and we are only halfway through the year.

Man I thought the ending was going to be way different.

Code:
It seemed to really echo the beginning with Joel carrying Ellie/Sarah. I thought it was going to end with them both getting shot. The ending kind of seemed a little too happy. I thought Ellie was going to shoot him, or they were going to arrive at Jackson with everyone dead. Although I guess the lying to protect her thing was dark, but a little odd. Less tragic then I thought it would be.

The story gets better after that. Joel and Ellie are really the soul of the game. The combat is fun too when it lets you loose on a bigger area.

Not surprised, just annoyed. I knew there wouldn't be any, I'm just trying to find games to keep me occupied. I'm halfway through Vesperia now, then I need to find another one.

For launch on PS4? Yeah there is a lack. Even when TGS hits and they announce new rpgs, it will still take awhile beyond the launch window for them to be localized.

super mario games for example. I think the only mario game I ever played for story as much as gameplay is Super Mario RPG.

Mario games have stories?

You guys are crazy, I avoid spoilers like the plague.  I can't imagine getting the same appreciation out of something like Spec Ops: The Line if you already knew the ending.  It would ruin the whole experience.

I know the ending of Spec Ops, and just the other day I played until chapter 4 and enjoyed it. Its the journey that matters, not the destination. Everybody knows the ending to the Sixth Sense, and it still a good movie.

Also, anyone else getting sick of the swimming in this game? Its not fun, but I think that might be the point of it. At the same time, I can't see what they put so much of it into the game. I generally dislike water, sewer, swamp levels in video games, and this one isn't doing a good job of convincing me that they are great to have in games.

I usually do end up spoiling things for myself like I did for Bioshock Infinite. This time I'm letting the game take me for the ride, so I can decide which approach I like better. Knowing the ending, or not.

I've heard lots of people not having glitches and some having them. I haven't had a glitch since the beginning of the game, so there's that. I didn't have any problem handling the first Bloater, my main problem is that the game has been pushing me to not go in guns blazing, and then ask me to go in guns blazing. That is completely different from how I had been playing the game thus far, and it was really jaring. It was good that I had been playing stealthily up until that point or I wouldn't have had the materials to take that thing down.
