Thanks for you all of your suggestions, I think in the end I'm going to get Nocturne first, I like my games challenging (and borderline frustrating), especially RPG's. Just something that I'll have to really sink my teeth into in order to beat. Also, being a man sounds like fun.

For a guy who has played none of them (and I'm hoping someone hasn't already asked this), which is the best one to start out with IYO?
