so Capcom Cup was this past Saturday and they actually had a playable build of Street Fighter 5 there. 2 of the capcom employees did a little exhibition match. If you haven't seen it yet here's the vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_1RA12QEc0 . It's really early since this game is set to come out in 2016 but there are a lot of really cool new animations, excited to find out more if there's some kind of elemental activation system in this game. Also, there was a teaser shown that may possibly imply zombie Charlie may appear in SF 5.

capcom cup is today, the talent pool in this tournament is insane and I really wish it were round robin style instead of the standard tournament. The fact that they're going to show a playable build of street fighter 5 is pretty crazy too.

new patch might get me back on the pc version, apparently, they're implementing a rarity higher than legendary and m6 demon hunters are getting super nerfed. Also, more legendary gems.

they really needed a ledge grab,if you're gonna put in some platforming not having ledge grab makes it really wonky sometimes. Just finished the game and will probably play some multiplayer. Other than needing more maps and encounter types, I'm quite enjoying the multiplayer.

I never actually played AC one and people tell me the combat and all that stuff is pretty terrible, but hey, it was a new ip then and they had a lot of time to improve things. Ac two and brotherhood hit a good balance of things and I enjoyed it a lot more, minus the counter button being instant win for combat. The new dragon age does actually take quite a few elements from assassin's creed I feel, mainly the collectathon stuff, the liberating areas and gathering resources/allies. Dragon age does a good job of tying all the side stuff into the main goal of strengthening your forces and it does feel like your army is growing so it doesn't feel like I'm collecting feathers just for the sake of doing that or filling meters.Plus there's a lot of interesting background stories and things in the world, I'm like 60 hours in now and just more curious about the world and culture.

well the controls might've been designed for console and spent less time on the keyboard controls. Also I didn't figure this out until now but you can access the map quickly by pressing left on the d pad, and you can actually buy influence from one of the merchants.

Wow that is a lot of power. I guess you earn a lot more power later on. Or I have not played enough or doing the wrong things. I also feel lost when it comes to crafting. I still use the pre order gear. Most loot is just trash.
You gain power from just about everything you do. I'm a completionist so I did so much stuff before visiting the Crossroads in the first mission that I had already killed the first dragon you can encounter.....who is level 12. >.> Don't follow my example, just keep exploring and completing quests and you'll gain power naturally. Also just realized I worded my last post poorly, I meant the last story mission I had done not the last story mission in the game. x_x. Side note, wiped out a good chunk of my power unlocking optional areas yesterday.

Loot should get better over time. I think it is randomly generated based on your level for the most part.

there'll be requisitions that you can do over and over again by turning in materials and give you power and influence so don't worry too much about those. I'm just sitting on like 200 power, also, it does matter who you send on the war room missions so make sure to read what each of them want to do.

Eh I find requisitions to be a waste of time unless you need a quick point and happen to have the items.

they give you decent influence too and you need all of that you can get

i got really annoyed in the hinterlands. those guys with shields are really hard to kill and i found myself far from camp with no potions. is there some kind of map? i mean theres a compass ype thing but it doesnt show boundries and such.

If you're a shield and sword warrior and you use your block when they attack, they get stunned. Or you can control cassandra to do it.

did a bunch of side stuff and then realized I shoulda prolly advance the story some to get more characters. Anyways, gonna do some multiplayer tonight, anyone have this on ps4?

edit= wow I just spent 4 and a half hours playing multiplayer with a friend. It's really addicting.

sadly I preordered from amazon so no preload for me, but hey, release date shipping for amazon prime means I'll definitely be on for multiplayer tommorow. Also read up the comics and some stuff on the wiki, quite a lot of stuff happens in them like you learn the fate of Wynne and Sten. Hopefully Inquisition has some codex entries or something to give you some kind of overview for the events in between the games.

Wow, a lotta hate for the AC series, I actually quite liked 3 and 4. Mainly liked them for the historical stuff, it's interesting how they weave actual historical figures into the plots and use them to influence the protagonists. The collectathon stuff is pretty tiring but that's mainly for people who like filling bars and getting achievements. It also helps that those games usually fall to about 20 bucks pretty fast. Heard the new one's good but just very unpolished and buggy.

Pretty much just looking forward to DA3, Persona Q and Guilty Gear for this year. Curious what your dragon age keep choices do affect because in ME3 it didn't feel like your choices in previous games did all that much except determine who was alive and who wasn't. Well, maybe Bioware learned from that but on the other hand I don't want those decisions to affect too much as it may confuse people who are new to the series. I know I had to look up some of the people you could've killed when I was doing the keep choices.

yeah it's like the mass effect 2 comic for ps3, you make all the major decisions on there to carry over. Apparently it can still see your main characters from one and 2 but the impact on 3 seems to be minimal anyways.
