ok so I got my copy today with the game coming with a dlc code for a hd version of an older game I'm assuming. Not much to say, so far the team-up mechanic is interesting and so is the combo system even though that usually takes a bit of planning. Also the protagonists theme song is pretty cool.

just got to stage 23 gundam route, god the bosses hurt so much and are so accurate, time to just grind I guess.

it's just so much easier to get damage on the ranged heroes than the melee ones, deciding if I want to main witch doctor instead of my monk.

witch doctors are currently super good with their buffs from the new patch. But yeah, still adventure moding and sometimes grinding keywardens to try to get the new hellfire ring.

the new bosses definitely feel like they're designed to make you dodge pretty much everything the boss does, unless you're ubergeared in which case it's just a tank and spank. Torment is much harder now and even with my monk at 13 million toughness, I still occasionally die on torment 1. But yeah adventure mode is the super grind for the phat lewts and it's working out pretty well. So if you find yourself struggling, it might be worth it to jump into adventure mode for a bit on a comfortable difficulty to farm better gear. Other than that, popular opinion is the OP class right now is wizard as frozen orb just does obscene dps.

I would hope yakuza plays like shenmue since a lot of the same people worked on both of them. Also I would say just start with yakuza 4 as I think out of all of them 4 has the best story and action. There was a potentially super cheesy moment in 4 that ended up being actually pretty poignant, I was impressed. But yeah, play yakuza 4 after getting the dark souls 2 out of your system. Also, reaper of souls so good, get on it people.

almost done with act 5, really liking it. There's quite a large variety of locations the act takes you through and the new crafting npc is pretty awesome. Enemies hit pretty hard, I'm actually having problems surviving on torment 1 so will probably grind a bit in adventure mode tonight. Also, marquis gems dropping like candy.

wow they acted so fast, well here's a vid of all the instant kills and overdrives, hopefully they don't take it down https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIymu0MTHLk

the entire soundtrack is out, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVweHyFfar4    . Just finished listening to the whole hour and 20 minutes of it. Guilty gear always has that amazing music, which was why I was so excited for the original persona 4 arena since it would be 2 franchises with great music mashup. As for the game, it's getting localized soon hopefully and I've been watching some japanese tournaments.

Just hope skipping cutscenes no longer lower your % completion in X-2, I've never been good at sitting through cutscenes I've already seen before.

I haven't played since June 12, 2012, shortly after I hit 58 with my DH.
Logged back in to see what this new patch was all about, and holy man, all the drops were just...well, so much better than everything I had up to that point.
The gear drops were like going from Tier 2 Epics in vanilla WoW to dingy greens in Burning Crusade. Geez.

Anyways, with the 50% XP boost, I was able to power level to 60 in no time, but what's this paragon level business? This wasn't around!

just basically lets you level after 60, plus the paragon level is shared across all your characters. You get to allocate some points too. It doesn't seem to have a cap as I kno a guy who's paragon 300 but the portrait upgrades stop at paragon 100.

Anyone else gonna be on for launch of Reaper of Souls? gonna try to get a group together for act 5 and adventure mode

sadly my newegg preorder seems to have not shipped yet, I have a bad feeling about this. welp, guess I'll just grind d3 in the meantime.

will probably make the next gen jump at the end of the year for this and destiny.

they've certainly buffed a lot of skills that were kinda not viable before, also if you've done some of the infernal machine runs, need wizards to jkust spam those time slow bubbles to lock bosses down

I have concerns about the toughness stat and how its gonna affect my wiz.

wouldn't worry too much about it, my friend's wizard has pretty good survivability with diamond armor and the teleporting around ability. Also, toughness isn't really a stat, more a number they calculated using your stats to give you an idea of how tanky you are.
