so hyped for this game, tuesday can't come soon enough. Seriously considering just getting the digital version and pre-loading it.Actually reading the dragon age comics right now to fill in some of the events between 2 and 3. It also seems like there's some sidestory that provides the background for Cole. Very glad they patched in the party chat for streaming on ps4 so now I don't haveta sound like I'm being haunted by ghosts anymore. But yeah, day 1 ps4 multiplayer yo.

hopefully mage helms look better in the upcoming one, most of the mage helms were really terrible looking in origins.

I very much agree with this vid actually, still on the fence about the expansion.

DA characters always look awful, at least in my opinion. just really don't like the visual style Bioware went with for the series.

they've got nothing on Bethesda character faces, need mods to deal with those atrocities.

Also, more and more hype for the multiplayer with every vid preview I watch. If people are gonna play on ps4, I'll definitely be on the multiplayer day 1.

pre-oredered the game because I'm pretty excited for the multiplayer actually, hopefully some people will have this on the ps4

Air-dashy or "Anime" fighting games have this tendency to get very complicated or bloated with systems with time, it's one of the main reasons they're rebooting Guilty Gear to try to tone down the insane number of systems they've gained over the years.  But yeah, a lot of people recently are getting into Under Night In-Birth because it's a good middle ground between Street Fighter and the air dash games and the new Guilty Gear looks a lot simpler than its predecessors.

After listening to the Natural Doctrine part I really wished they brought Front Mission 5 over here, it was meant to be the final game in the series and that game was really cool with its SRPG elements and mech customizing.

Really love how you can trade maps in Curtain Call and you can play international people in vs mode. A lot of the japanese players have really good farming maps to give away and that really encourages you to play the versus mode. Also, Added Cut is so powerful, I just made a party of 4 swordsmen with it and just slash everything to death.

Destiny and Theatrhym Curtain Call have been consuming my life, which since I'm now on vacation for a week means even more time spent farming both games. The profilecard map trading thing is useful though as the number of shards you get for clearing each boss for the first time is huge and some maps have 3 bosses. Gotta trade some friend codes

I hear the game is a bit of a disaster story and content wise. To be honest, form what I've seen its pretty much borderlands with more players and less stuff to do.
Not to say its a bad game, as I can't judge until I actually play it, but I it seems people are rather disappointed.

If you've seen the Angry Joe review on youtube, I agree with most of what he says about the game despite me enjoying this game a lot. The story does feel like they made a full story and then just cut it up to feed it to the players piece by piece through updates and stuff. I actually think this game is a lot better than borderlands, there's no humor or anything but the combat and controls are much better. Also, if you don't have a lot of free time or friends who play this game, the grind for upgrade materials will probably crush your soul. I don't feel the gear grind is too bad, mainly cause they're offsetting that right now with an event that straight up gives you a legendary helm and chestpiece and the next patch ups loot drops. Ultimately, this game is very much not a casual game, the enjoyment is there but it will take quite a big time investment that a lot of people either won't be willing or be able to put in. And I thought Bungie didn't put any MMO teamwork-needing mechanics in the game because they'd never done a semi-MMO before but then I played the raid and I guess they were saving the unique boss mechanics for the raids. Which is sad because I'm pretty sure like 80 percent of people will never get to play that raid.

Also Tooker, I always enjoy the shoutouts, does my self-esteem good.

they really need to add some more story and shit to this game OUTSIDE of payed expansions.

I've killed the same bosses so many times it's getting old. I've been stuck at the same level for over a week and a half and that's saying a lot since on my days off I play for quite a bit

what level are you now/ if you're 26 or above we can do the raid one of these days.

mt friends showed me it, need more purples to dismantle.

they randomly appear from blue engrams and there's a weekly heroic strike that gives them to you, I can run you through the current one if you haven't done it already.

yeah, go find the npc in the area with the speaker that sells exotics for them, you can get an exotic armor piece for 13 strange coins
28  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: Destiny on: September 20, 2014, 12:17:58 PM
yeah plotwise they mainly just introduce a bunch of factions and races. Managed to get to the final boss in the raid last night, streamed the whole thing and it took like 4 hours. Did get some nice purples though. Yoda, do you have enough motes or stranges coins to buy stuff from the agent of the nine?
29  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: Destiny on: September 16, 2014, 07:48:53 AM
If I can do the first raid that came out today I'll probably stream it, hopefully I have 6 people at level 26 on my friends list. It seems the ps4 streaming doesn't pick up party chat, so I now have a vid of me talking to myself like a crazy person for an hour.

Might not recommend this game if you don't have any friends who have it also, but it's a really great feeling when you have 15 friends on, and more than half of them are playing this game. Put more than 40 hours in already getting ready for the 6 man level 26 raid that comes out tomorrow. Also probably not advisable if you don't like the loot grind but it's just that kind of game. Enjoyed the pvp a lot more than I thought I would since I don't usually play fps games and there's a lot of interesting interactions with each classes supers. It's interesting how many people who usually only play COD and sports games have gotten into this one, some of my co-workers namely. Well, I'll probably slow down once I get decked out in purples but now definitely getting that season pass.
