I think this is the lowest I've ever seen The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy. Got one for myself, just a note it's not the limited edition box set, just the 3 actual artbooks.

pre-ordered it and siliconera just linked to a new trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGLv6yM6O9U#t=21 . Ambivalent on the max break thing but the sprites are of very differing quality it kinda bothers me. Oh well, it' still a two parter and I'll probably get both.

all these talks of updates make me wanna jump back on my monk, welp, lets see this new loot system. I think I'm still like paragon level 30 so lots of stuff to do.

3/4: +50% exp event goin on right now on top of the vastly increased exp gain in the new patch.

watched pewdiepie play the first hour or so on youtube, the game actually looks really funny and I'm surprised it directly references skyrim. Still dunno if it's worth $60 plus lots of releases soon so maybe someday.
20  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: Hearthstone on: February 21, 2014, 08:59:49 PM
haven't been playing much recently, way too many releases to keep up with, might get back into hearthstone if they release a new expansion or something. Also, I totally forgot I kickstarted the hex tcg for like $65 so that'll prolly fulfill my mmo tcg needs when it comes out.

these guys are pretty awesome with their music stuff

they also did a game of thrones/rage against the machine parody(there's swearing, a lot)

it's weird the funniest show so far this season is a prequel to Treasure Island. Watch Black Sails people, though it's not safe for work. The openings amazing though.

played the demo, just felt that they wanted to make it more actiony but didn't want to go too far. Unless there's enemies or bosses later that telegraph their attacks and you can actually dodge them or environment hazards, the sorta free moving thing doesn't actually change all that much besides letting you guard between turns now. Hopefully the combat'll get more interesting, the costumes and stuff are awesome but dunno if I want this day 1.

Archer and The Blacklist(god James Spader is so good in everything) are back, which is good since I've finished Sherlock season 3, hype for next season.  Saw first ep of Black Sails, intrigued enough to keep goin, curious to see how they'll fit it in with Treasure Island.

how can you forget Johnny Jones from Mario RPG? he's an honorable shark pirate that challenges mario to a 1 on 1 duel

was thinking of getting terra mystica, but I'll probably wait till it drops a bit lower. Got eldritch horror and played a 3 hour game with my friends, was pretty awesome. But yeah I've been busy with shin gundam musou and tales of xillia but will probably be on more often soon.

missed the holiday deals for the first season pass so I'm kinda sad, I'll wait for the sale that they'll prolly do once the second season pass comes out. Until then I'll be leveling my mechromancer and gunzerker. Have a level 50 zero but I really think he is the weakest currently.

just couldn't get into torchlight 2, can't name why but just didn't enjoy it as much as path of exile or diablo. The other two games kinda throw you cool new stuff or abilities every few levels that was cool and kept you interested, especially the gem linking thing of path that reminded me of the stuff you could do with materia. With torchlight the character progression curve just felt more gradual and the pet buying and selling stuff for you was really convenient but I felt as though I didn't have as many options as I did in the other 2 games. Also, I hate distributing stat points.

As for the persona front, it's all about Persona 4: Dancing all Night. And hopefully that Theatrythmn sequel comes out this year.

the collector's edition swag was shown, that pocketwatch and artbook(why no soundtrack?). First instinct was to throw money AC 2 style, but it's square enix store only and it's done by Digital River(of Ni no Kuni Wizard's edition debacle fame) so I guess I'll pass and get it on amazon or ebay far in the distant future.

good news, I actually don't have work on a quiz day. Bad news, I barely remember anything about the game besides the plot.
