1  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: FINAL FANTASY XV, This is a fantasy based on reality. on: November 15, 2014, 10:22:24 PM
Honestly, the only thing I'm worried about at this point is dialogue.  I'll probably beat my head into the game's disc if you're stuck on a bromatic cruise of the country listening to really bad or unnatural dialogue.

Well, I don't know what the content of the dialogue will be, of course, but the dialogue from the trailers seemed to be quite good and better-written/more natural than the XIII series in my opinion. I'm optimistic about the story based on what we've seen so far.

Why does it have so much text?

Wow, that sucks. Why is this game of all things getting localized?

Not sure if this exactly fits, but Embric of Wulfhammer's Castle takes place in a typical western dungeon rpg type setting. The game's available for free here: http://wulfhammer.org/ and it has some excellent humor, character development, and a great use of multiple story arcs with multiple endings. There is very little combat, and the story is great. It's really underrated, in my opinion.

Can someone who knows Japanese summarize some of the Amazon reviews? I can tell they're terrible from the star ratings, but I'm not sure what about the game is crap. If the story is good I can put up with shitty mechanics so long as it's functional.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it.
