Some may think it's a little campy, but seriously

Devil May Cry - Shall Never Surrender. Specifically the second half of the song, the chorus is catchy as hell.

Just kind of curious because my client size is only like 9.1 gigs and the game box system requirements says 20 gigs...

Isn't that sometimes meant to imply that you should save room for expansions? I could be wrong..

Am I the only one who would love to use Sonic as a demon? He looks nothing like a hedgehog, maybe that is his secret backstory!

I would use Sonic in a heartbeat. Probably faster than that. HAR HAR HAR.

Breath of Fire II, Shining Force II, and Final Fantasy VI. I have played and beaten these games more times than I can count.

Breath of Fire is one of my all time favorite series. I am forced, because of this, to be cautiously optimistic with this upcoming release. It does make me feel better that they haven't just forgotten this series all together, with the almost insulting inclusion of Ryu as a card in UMVC, and with BoF6 being announced.
6  Media / General Games / Re: Bioshock Infinite on: July 30, 2013, 07:23:31 PM
BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds -- $4.99 / 400 Microsoft Points (included in the BioShock Infinite Season Pass)

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea (two-part add-on campaign) -- These two campaigns will be available individually for $15.00 / 1200 Microsoft Points (also included as part of the BioShock Infinite Season Pass)

Source: All Games Beta

I can deal without Clash in the Clouds, but OMG BRING ON BURIAL AT SEA NOW.

Are we going to have one?

I really love hearing the favorites of the various editors and writers each year, as well as the best overall games.

Define generation? Console Generation?

Nice vid,

Game still looks awesome, can't wait.

It should be out around time for the Phantasy Star 30th Anniversary.

Infinite's ending was incredible.

Among all of the craziness that was Infinite's story, the whole idea of Baptism creating a different person, and being a recurring motif, was mind-blowing to say the least. That this simple event of washing away your past (to find solace or forgiveness) could change so much. And being that it is used multiple times throughout the game, from drowning Comstock, to Songbird drowning, to drowning Booker at the end, was incredible as well.

I have not seen this kind of brilliant story-writing since 999/Virtue's Last Reward.

Especially considering Infinite's ending is very similar to Virtue's Last Reward, dealing with the same Multiple Worlds Theory

I cannot say enough good things about this game. (or all three of them, rather)

Unreal Engine,

I guess that explains why Sol seems to have doubled in size.

Mmm... P4A...

This, on so many levels.
13  Media / The Soundroom / Re: Song of the Moment: The Original RPGFan Post Count +1 Megathread on: June 08, 2013, 08:53:45 PM
Going back through my music, song of the moment:

Counting Crows - A Murder of One (from August and Everything After)

Amazing. :)

Even that guy who did the complete Burnout series rip album didn't even have it. Oh, the halcyon days of music not being completely accessible. How I do not miss thee.

Just to stay on topic:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjK8njx4fb4 AWESOME boss theme.

Also, I love Infinite Images. It's too bad they totally flubbed SCV. The music was pretty good, but the game was so underwhelming compared to the last few SCs. Also they took out Yunseong. Also I didn't realize Keiki Kobayashi did SCIV's OST. <3 Ace Combat.

https://soundcloud.com/sony-soundtracks/sets/the-last-of-us <-- Last of Us soundtrack sampler. Amazing.

That boss theme was awesome. I really really really dug that game and music.

Also agreed, SCV hurt me deeply. I also didn't realize Kobayashi did the IV OST. Craziness.

Surprised no one has posted this yet

Mass Effect 3 - An End, Once and For All: Extended Cut - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLxv_g_zQkY
One of the most beautiful pieces of VGM I have ever heard in my life. No matter how much you hate anything regarding the ending of this game and the direction they took. You need to listen to this if you have not already.

Obviously be wary of spoilers in the comments if you're one of the few who haven't beaten this game yet.
15  Media / The Soundroom / Re: Daft Punk signs for fourth studio album on: June 08, 2013, 08:36:16 PM

And yes, I agree. My tastes have changed a lot over the years, and I've really started to shy away from wanting "more of the same thing," no matter how good what it used to be was. Predictability is borrrrring.

I absolutely agree, comments like "their old stuff was so much better" have evolved into "I love how different this album is".

... And no you don't, not yet.
