Speaking of the AI: why is it that nearly every jRPG out there has a boss that burrows and comes out doing major damage while the AI runs around like beheaded chickens?
I mean, you just need to add a condition to the AI: If nothing targetable on the battlefield -> block.
Those who fought the boss know which one I'm talking about and the AI keeps getting brutalized for about 200 damage a hit. Contrarily, since I block, I am taking less than 40 (hard guard is good)
I knew this would happen pretty quickly when I started that boss fight, and considering the general level of weakness of my party, I set my whole team's strategy to spread out with no linking (not using linked artes anyways,) aggroed the boss, and ran him away from the rest of my party every time he went to burrow. The party just attacked the minions while it was going on.
