God damn, this game is fantastic. It really is an adventure game with the occasional action sequence mixed in, which makes it feel completely different from the other Rockstar games I've played (yeah yeah, it's a Team Bondi game. But Rockstar helped it's development and published it, and it definitely feels like it a game they had a hand in making). I get a kick out of searching places for evidence and interviewing people, and so far the cases have been awesome. I guess they're connecting the homicide cases together, which should be interesting.

I love how mean and dirty this city is. I love that Cole's strong sense of justice is being challenged more and more the further up the food chain he goes. I'm really interested to see how it all plays out.

Exercise and drawing.
33  Media / The Soundroom / Re: In the spirit of the best of 2010, what are some of your favorite albums of 2010 on: April 26, 2011, 10:43:13 AM
Sleigh Bells Ė Treats

My personal favourite of 2010. Itís hard to explain why; itís just got a level of energy in it that no other album Iíve got has. Itís perfect to run to. I just canít stop listening to it. I also know its abrasive as hell, and I imagine most people would be turned off it pretty quickly.

Das Racist Ė Sit down man & Shut up dude

These guys released two mix tapes last year and I really enjoyed both of them. Shut up dude is easily my favourite of the two though.

Kanye West Ė My Beatuiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Itís nice that a mainstream artist like Kanye is so determined to grow as an artist. Heís still pretty average as a rapper, but his production skills are fantastic.

Big Boi - Sir Lucious Left Foot: The son of chico dusty

An amazingly fun album. So many catchy singles. Itís sad that his solo work hasnít gotten anywhere near the attention that Outkast did.

I bought the DS version a day before I saw it on XBL.

Ah well, I hear they've improved the gameplay a bit and it would be nice to play it in HD, but I'll stick with the DS version for now. I'm really interested in playing it though.

I love the Beastie Boys, but I'll admit I haven't been following them closely over the past few years. I'll be getting this for sure.
36  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Catherine from Persona team on PS360 on: December 04, 2010, 11:01:16 PM
I'd be surprised if they ported it to the 360 and didn't bring it over here.

Gawd damn. I'm loving this game.
38  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Is it worth Playing These Series in Order? on: November 29, 2010, 09:43:04 AM
Assassin's Creed 2 is fun times. As is Brotherhood.

Sin & Punishment is a fun game, but the sequel improves on in significantly.

Could never get into NMH. Never bothered with the sequel.

39  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Faery: Legends Of Avalon. on: November 28, 2010, 03:32:18 AM
I played the demo and didn't care for it. I like the character designs, but the dialogue is awful and the rest of the game felt kind of forgettable. Nothing about the world or the combat was enough to hold my attention.
40  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Linear and simple RPGs on: November 22, 2010, 09:26:00 AM
Costume Quest is fun little RPG available on XBL and PSN. It's cute, easy, simple, fairly linear, has some great dialogue, but it's also pretty short. If nothing else it's a fun distraction for a few hours.
41  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: What will bring RPGs back? on: November 22, 2010, 09:05:03 AM
It's the publishers that get to decide what goes and what doesn't though. I'm sure there are tons of developers who'd skip their current projects to work on something they're more passionate about. But like Tomara said, people gotta eat.
42  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Vanquish, Bayonetta meets Casshern? on: November 22, 2010, 08:45:12 AM
Yeah, I finished this a few weeks ago. I loved every second. I'm slowly making my way through the challenges now.
43  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: No one hitting AssCreed: B? on: November 21, 2010, 09:11:49 AM
Assassinís Creed 2 was amazing, one of the best games released last year.

Having said that; Brotherhood hasnít really been on my radar. But Iím hearing so many good things about it, and I had so much fun with AC2, that Iíll almost certainly be getting it.
44  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: super meat boy on: November 10, 2010, 09:37:40 AM
I love it. I'm just less vocal about it.
45  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Vanquish, Bayonetta meets Casshern? on: November 01, 2010, 01:28:00 PM
I completely disagree. I've had a blast with it. It would have to do something drastic to sour my opinion on it.

I wouldn't exactly say the game bombed hard when all we've got are numbers from the UK. I'm sure worldwide sales will be decent enough.
