I was going to say so with Star Ocean 5 this the exact same combat system as in Infinite Undiscovery and that was IMO one of the best Tri Ace games... I guess someone mentioned that already.

And then I was going to post a picture of Aya's Fayel costume and how cool it was IMO but can't find it ah well, anyway and Aya is in like my top 10 JRPG characters.

And it has Capel (LIke Fidel?) going DINNER DINNER in that one scene that cracks me up about as good if not a little better than Lunar Silver Star Story which is one of my fave games for humor.

Anyway this is a long way of saying I don't see any SO3 in this game it's all Infinite to me...

So I just reached the point where Velvet returns to her home village for the first time.  Seriously fucked up what happened there.  The whole thing was a total mind fuck for Velvet.  I can't help but feel bad for what happened there.  On a side note, there is a Katz box by her house I didn't have enough Katz souls to open.  If I leave the region, will I be able to return to open it?

I've noticed every JRPG has a kind of brutal beginning.. it's almost always lets escape this dungeon/war/explosion.. well basically they're always all screwed up in the beginning, but I think with 3D graphics in the modern era it makes it more real for people perhaps.

You need to play for like 14 hours before you get to relative safety honestly.

Nah you still got a while to go.  Game was kinda long, padded by boring dungeons.

Yeah I took a bit of a break with some swamp area shortly after that.... Why did they ever think these dungeons/overworld areas (they're basically just as interesting so I'm lumping them together) was ever EVER a good idea??  I don't understand how you fall so many steps back after what the series did when it was YOUNGER. : /

Wait so you liked super ginormous cross-grid sprints? I mean.. it was passable but seeing where I'm going and all that is a pretty nice development..

Yeah it's fine to play for awhile but IMO once you have tried all the characters the only thing left is the hyper repetitive MOBA style gameplay which I don't care for...

Oh yeah... this thread... yeah I'm playing this.

Although it's going to be awhile before I form a more concrete impression. I might even put my tag here at some point and maybe we can play some together.............. maybe........

But yeah I'm a weaver, maybe I'll get a pic on imgur and over here..

UGH! Seriously who puts cheese in the middle of a burger, I think I've lost my interest in Shake Schack for now.

Plus those fancy pants NYC prices...

I can't believe how dumb the NYTimes is, like it's basically bad 4chan trolling,, and that's it.

So I have these moments where I basically go like "berserker" cause of extreme emotional experiences and I can get really carried away at times..

... ahem.. not that anyone's maybe noticed by now? But yeah... it's definitely a thing that happens, rarely do I even remember exactly what I said or did exactly during those times, it's like the equivalent of blacking out with alcohol but with no alcohol, I guess.

In more mellow news... ah well what's mellow I guess that I've had a pretty good sandwich from a pizza place that has an old Ms. Pac Man machine and has that old arcadey feel to it.  I think "gamery" local pizza place/joints are really the best atmosphere and often incredible tasty.

Ok I finally watched the mummy as I said the last of the two movies I'll ever watch going forward (old movies are ok)

But yeah I kinda knew why... this was going to be a weird experience.

So basically it boils down to Tom Cruise and his whole career IMO, which of course has had some pretty great moments. A Few Good Men, the Mission Impossibles, quite honestly, and dozens of other things.

However, at the end of the day, he's still just all around carefree Americana which is nice, I like that about him and everyone else has. Heck even the Jack Reacher series was pretty entertaining.

So when he gets caught up in the whole egypt and England and everything and he's all "Wait leave me out of this!" It's a pretty great thing, but that said... well spoilers..

Yeah he picks the dumb blonde aryan bitch, in the end, over a genuine Egyptian goddess.

And that seems to be the choice of most Americans these days, quite a tragedy, really, but whatever, their adults and free to make their own choices... quite honestly he should of been ecstatic to see her drowning, I know I was.

Also as far as value goes it's sadly a bit limited, the psychotically racist/extremist arch New Zealand English dickus villain Russel Crowe, who's rampaging homoerotic overtones were certainly noted in this movie, somehow manages to "survive" and so then the fact that dumb blonde german aryan bitch cunt survives along with Anglo-Saxon fuckwad while yet more Middle Eastern culture is brutalized for no particular reason strikes me as well..

Yeah, fuck this shit, I was already on the way out before these things, and I'm glad this movie was made and had some value, but it's pretty much the sine qua non of all that's fucked in modern America.

But hey, there's one more, which is the ultimate expression of American fuckery, Transformers: The Last White, which I will be enjoying hopefully sooner rather than later...

I tried a few "basic dishes" and it failed miserably really.

Turkey and Meat and bread.. turkey tastes rancid, part of Kirkland's and Kroger and all these "pig shit" dispensaries to gas the masses with poor quality nutrients... I imagine.

I'm told The Amnish have great ingredients, although I'm not anywhere near the Amnish, so I'm out of luck there, not that I would want to support the Christian terrorist state in Pennsylvania at any rate...

I'm just going to Olive Garden every day basically, it's actually not really crazy costly compared to alternatives when I compared the options.

The only problem honestly is that it's kinda far, so I end up having to plow through a ton of traffic, badly marked straight signs, aggressive drivers who also can't drive, and atrocious parking lots, and then more bad street signs, a few really ugly buildings, a bunch of wayward pedestrians, aggressive people on bikes who think Biking demonstrates a powerful committment to social justice, but in fact endangers everyone while driving, a few tight streets with people who leave their cars basically on the road and aggressively put the cars even more out on the road in response to criticism about being on the road, aaaaaaaaand traffic, lots of traffic with tons of cars everywhere that make everything take like 10000x longer than it should...

|Ahem, but at least I like the Olive Garden.

That seems to be an acute failure in western civ... too many personalities with the, I spent 391234 hours and made the most perfect thing ever, it's such a perfect burger, whatever.

But wait, how do I get it? Oh you just gotta traverse legions of poorly maintained roads and awkwardly designed signage that constantly endangers your well-being, in the vain hopes that it will produce "but it was worth it" at the end. It's never worth it, never, ever, not once, never will be.

Or I spent like, 1234098123409 hours gathering the ingredients by helicoptor and freight and now that I've expended 9000 calories getting it all together I'll get 3000 back!

Failure to account for opportunity costs and inputs is why western civ is so physically gross and obese compared to other places, no measuring or weighing, just a blind assertion of superiority. I can maintain healthy weights eating nothing but fried chicken and drinking soda, because I accurately measure the energy to get it, and because I don't eat it all at once.. etc... etc...

I am not masochistic, at all, like, AT ALL, and consequently I react negatively to it being forced upon me, as anyone would react negatively to being forced as parts of things they don't understand or desire.

not relevant, but I'll take any opportunity I can to say that Kingdom Hearts is patently terrible.

Jawsh! I daresay you sparkle with a shininess I didn't notice before!

Well I make too many of these threads here in my opinion but that's because every game I'm playing I can't say I'm sticking with... something about each one has turned me off. Heroes of the Storm is just too stupid overall, WoW is too old and unable to keep pace with modern times, Black Desert Online doesn't have good combat, Star Trek Online stops being good after the first handful of chapters, and there's no way I'm ever playing either Destiny 1 or 2 because they just take way too long to get behind.

Which leaves.

Guild Wars! Still failing to disappoint me, I guess, somehow, with a combination of several factors. The first being that there is a lot of gameplay variety, and the second being that it's as polished as any MMO, with pretty cool looking environments and stuff.

So as a consequence that's now one of MP games of choice alongside FFXIV..

And here we are, the new trailer for the next expansion, and website with the info and such...

All right well I'm back to Tyria..
