I had always figured Namco was too lazy to localize the same title twice....

I thought it was pretty funny.

"Hey Megaman, you're a little low on air."
"Yeah, you're full of shit!"

I thought the last minute of the video was the funniest.

I thought #4 was the funniest, followed by #6.
2089  Media / Single-Player RPGs / FFT PSP slowdown "not that bad," says S-E on: June 14, 2007, 09:34:10 PM
Doesn't TOSE handle a lot of the FF ports? Maybe it's them to blame instead of Square-Enix, but you could also blame S-E for being cheap and lazy and outsourcing the game...
2090  The Rest / General Discussions / AMA may label 'Video Game Addiction' as disorder on: June 14, 2007, 08:46:34 PM

Up for grabs is pretty much anything that would involve either the government or a court of law -- everything from whether or not to pass impending anti-videogame legislation or ban DSes from public schools through to the development and prescription of drugs designed to "treat" videogame addiction... even a doctor's note that could sentence you to rehab for playing a little too much Guild Wars.

They're going to make drugs to treat "videogame addiction"; now that's retarded if you ask me. Playing videogames isn't an addiction, it's a hobby. So, according to their logic, things like computer use and watching tv could be considered addiction.

I'm wondering if those doctors understand the term addiction. Choosing to play videogames isn't addiction, it's just entertainment. See, people choose to play WoW a few hours everyday, so what? I spend a few hours everyday watching the Detroit Tigers play baseball. So that's an addiction?

Bottomline, doctors just need to shut the f up....

Yeah, I've only seen the trailers for the ToS anime, but the in-game anime cutscenes look way better, and the game is 4 years older than the anime...

Sorry, but Fallout 3's confirmed for the X360.

God help us all.

And the PS3.

Just completed chapter 26 in Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation. To me, it's getting easier ever since the Ryusei/Kyosuke's paths became one. Or it could be that I have 2 Grungusts, a Giganscudo, a Weissritter that hardly gets hit, and a Huckebein MkII with the G-Impact Cannon.....

2096  The Rest / General Discussions / The PS3 makes Eurotrash masturbate to soccer games. on: June 09, 2007, 12:51:21 PM
I wonder who would want to buy a PS3 after watching that commercial.

And yeah, who the hell would masturbate to 18(or however many players are on the field at once) sweaty men playing soccer?
2097  The Rest / General Discussions / GaGaGame Journal #5 on: June 08, 2007, 10:36:01 PM
Still going through SRT: OG, finishing chapter 21 on Kyosuke's route recently. Chapter 19 was the hardest yet, as it basically ended the first arc of the game. Only survived with the Giganscudo and Gilliam's Gespenst (MM R or something like that.)

Last time I played Pokémon LeafGreen, I just trained Ninetales from level 41-45; still preparing for the Elite Four.

In Fable: The Lost Chapters, I just did one story quest and a side quest.

I need to play OG less(which probably won't happen) so I can finish Pokémon and Fable.

My really low respect for San Francisco got even lower.
2099  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Japanese RPGs you've spent the most time on? on: June 07, 2007, 09:24:52 PM
Pokémon Gold/Silver - 200+ hours. I had 120 hours on one Gold playthrough and I've beaten Silver plenty of times.

Pokémon Red/Yellow/LeafGreen - Probably 100 hours max. Never replayed them that much.

Tales of Symphonia - 210+ hours. First time playing, I got 50 hours, but I restarted because I couldn't beat a certain boss(tried like 5 times), and I couldn't escape from the place to go train some more. So then, it took me about 50 hours on my first complete playthrough, 80 hours on a new game +(went through it slow, did more sidequests, etc), and around 35 hours on my most recent playthrough. There'll be more hours added, since I plan on doing a new game + on Mania sometime.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - 120+ hours. I've beaten it 3 times.

Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean - ~90 hours. Two partial playthroughs + 65 hours to beat the game my third time playing.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - ~65 hours. 3 playthroughs on Easy mode.

Yeah, back in January, I watched all of Escaflowne, Elfen Lied twice, and some of Gankustuou...

I haven't watched Death Note, but I've read all the manga and enjoyed it.
