Fairy Tail is returning next month (PV here) and BoA is doing the theme song!

Been watching Kuroko's Basketball. I'm digging it so far.

Trying to resume Attack on Titan. The pacing in this show is beyond horrid.

Hunter x Hunter (2011) is really good, though I'm around 70 episodes behind.

I'm still trying to find some anime to get back into. I was on the J-drama train for a while, but there isn't much that I like in J-drama land.

Klutz, you're getting close to where Xillia gets really, really weird in a hurry. I needed a break from the game just because the plot development was so out of left field.

I got on the computer to do something productive....and instead I'm just listening to a lot of BoA's older songs.

Tales of Xillia. Boy, is the plot in this game really fucking strange or what?

Had nothing but almost-nightmares... First one was about titans, next one was about zombies and the last was about zombie titans (that one took place in a school). I blame my sister, because she made me babysit that tiny neurotic dog she namd Levi.

The same kind of titans from Attack on Titan or just titans in general?

Just finished Chapter 3 in Tales of Xillia (Jude Route). I honestly didn't expect some of the plot twists at the end of chapter 2/beginning of chapter 3, as the story took a whole different direction than what I had expected.

(I guess the spoiler tag doesn't work or something.)

In the beginning of chapter 4 now and I really hate this section of the game. Everyone is acting all moody. I think even Sasuke from Naruto could call these people 'broody-ass pussies' or something. God damn. I hope that changes very soon, as I can tell I'm getting closer to the end of the game.

Tales of Xillia, about 18 hours in and nearing the end of Chapter 2. Basically, I got past the part where Elize was being a little moody bitch as if she was the angsty teen in a shounen manga.

During some random battles, I tried playing with Alvin since I thought he was the typical swordsman in a Tales game, but he's slow as fuck, so I quckly switched back over to Jude. I remember in Abyss I spent a lot of time switching between Luke and Guy, and in Vesperia I spent time switching between Yuri and Judith, but in Xillia, I haven't liked playing any other character than Jude.

I think Milla plays pretty well.  I agree with you, though, that other than her and Jude and didn't enjoy playing as much of the Xillia cast.

Just makes me think of old Graces f again...that's got to the be only Tales games in which I actually regularly used the entire cast.  Heck, even the mages were fun to play as in that game.  How did they do it?  And why don't they do it again...

Didn't people like playing as Rita in Vesperia, spamming Tidal Wave and winning every battle with her on a solo run?

Mesh, my former job did that to me, but I think it was also psychological. I was working a lot (relative to what people in my position worked on average, but still less than full time) at my job and also playing a lot of video games. The hatred from work was seething into video game playing time, and even back then in 2008 when I was playing Tales of Vesperia, Valkyria Chronicles, and Persona 4, I still ended up hating video games for a while.

I really enjoyed Mushishi when I watched it, but I don't know if that's nostalgia speaking or if it really was that good.

Played the shit out of Tales of Xillia today, and defeated the boss at the Felgana Mines. I'm started to get more used to Xillia's battle system after having played Graces F a lot.

@Elegance I do plan on going for the CPA. On almost every financial analyst position I applied for, it was basically this format:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred: CPA, MBA, or Master's Degree (in something like Statistics, Applied Mathematics, etc.); experience in some database (Hyperion, Oracle, SAS, etc.); 2-3 or 3-5 years of work experience; can outcook Martha Stewart; have more yachts than Bill Gates; etc. etc.

I sometimes do wish I had done something with math as it was my best subject in high school, but I just hated being pressured to be the best at math all the time, so I wanted to do something that didn't require a lot of math. However, there's a much higher chance of obtaining a job in accounting compared to many other business degrees, so that's why I'm choosing to do it. The advisors at the college of business at my university tried to sell me on an MBA, but I politely told them no. I honestly don't see the point in getting an MBA when I'm just 23 and have no relevant work experience. Plus, if an undergraduate degree didn't help me get a job, I don't see how taking the same classes at the graduate level would help me any.

I was half thinking about just going overseas to teach English for a couple of years and then start working as a translator since I already do translations, but it would take me so much longer to reach a native-like level and be able to translate much better than I can right not as opposed to just getting another degree.

Speaking of liberal arts degrees, it seems like their best option is law school...despite there being more than lawyers than the market needs right now, leaving people with an extra $250,000 in debt with no way to pay it off.

Right now, I'm trying to get through some hoops in registering for classes. I graduated in December with a bachelors degree in Finance, so there are some dumb rules that I have to get past before I can register for classes again. I'm going back for for an accounting degree, and an advisor told me to get an MAS (Masters of Science in Accountancy) since the school isn't allowed to award me a bachelors in accounting because of dumb rules. However, I already had those intentions anyway.

I wasn't able to obtain an internship for the type of finance positions I wanted, mainly because during my junior year of university, I was preoccupied with trying to enter the military and trying to become an officer (through Officer Training School), but when I found out the low odds of being selected, I was planning to go enlisted and then try to become an officer. However, I later learned that I most likely have gluten intolerance and lactose intolerance (I had several tests for acid reflux disease, but they all came back negative, so my doctor is pretty positive in my condition), so I'll never be able to enter any military branch because I can't eat anything made with gluten without getting a bad case of acid reflux.

Then after I graduated, the only places willing to give me interviews were for financial services positions, which involve selling insurance, financial advising, and investments. I wanted to be a financial analyst instead because I enjoyed my corporate finance and investment courses more, but hey, in this economy, I thought to go with what's available and work hard, hoping to jump fields later if the opportunity arose. Alas, I had to take personality tests and as expected, I don't have the right personality for a salesman (as financial services jobs are essentially sales jobs).

So, an accounting degree should help me because it would help me get a financial analyst position (because contrary to the title, it actually is another accounting job), plus other types of accounting positions, so there's that.

And this is just a few months after bragging that I'll never have to take another stupid test again in school.

The reviews I read say the game is fun despite being very short (10 hours) and being another buggy Obsidian game. I'll most likely wait for a price drop.
