Pretty sure I battled with everyone, Neal. I was argumentative back then. :)

The confusion is all mine.  Wait, that's not true either. :)
3  Site Related & More / RPGFan: Forums / I'll keep it brief. How's about you explain why you disappeared my latest topic? on: December 12, 2015, 08:24:34 PM
I realize I do little more than a Nallo-style post every year or so in Genneral, but I can't fathom why my post disappeared. I would appreciate an explanation. Thanks.
4  The Rest / General Discussions / RPGFan! You beautiful bitches. Time for one of us to check the other's pulse. on: December 12, 2015, 07:33:03 PM
I'm going to tell you a little story. Once there was a Final Fantasy neophyte who discovered his first nerd forum. "Cid (Which One? I don't know!)" was born unto this very community. The unintentionally fishbarreled new Cid, well, he attempted to distinguish himself amongst a sea of other Cids. Let's face it, we're all a Cid, and so was he.  Cid battled the likes of Dezo, Sumire Kanzaki (although he may have secretly had the hots for her), and befriended people with exotic names like Michael and Liz and Tony, and Nallo, and also those people he said he battled.  Cid is a lover, not a fighter.

You see, Cid (Which one? Fucking Cid, that's who) is a bit of a Don Quixote figure. That's why he ultimately chose the moniker of Angelo, because Spain.  Pay no attention to his imminently stylish Schala homage -- for he is Angelo, ruiner of evil. In Angelo's future, the likes of Schala would rule with a hue appropriate prescence, and the people shall profess forever that blue is the color of joy and nourishment and whatever the fuck else people talk about in the future.

These days, your very own Angelo still contributes to anime culture via Anime Herald, and other means that, you know, trust me, but I can't tell you.  But this is Japan, somewhat, and we Japanese don't fucking have a pulse without RPGs and mangas and other Japanese words. In my little world, Xenoblade Chronicles X has taken over. I hope all of you have found similar time sinks, because as we all get older, a single game that not only ends but does so in an insane number of hours is our friend. Because it's totally cheaper.

RPGFan! Deliver unto me your gaming energy! Profligate your essense upon my being, and don't stop there.  Lurkers! Come hither!

Hopefully you can see us if/when we get to Florida.

Ya mon.  Let me know.  I also make appearances outside Florida on occasion.  You still based in Jersey? Were you ever in Jersey? Am I just making shit up?

Damn, dude, your band rocks. :)

@Neal: Of course! It's the most epic of renamings.  "YourAss, make them bleed!"  Do you still play bass?  I'm way late to the party, but I've been learning guitar the last 2 years.  I forgot the sheer joy of performing music all these years, and now I'm once again afraid to perform in front of a crowd, but I'll get over it.  I'm not one of those crazies who buy ocarinas at conventions, but I want to get back to business with my other instruments as well.  I wonder if there are any 80s revival bands who need an alto sax in the area, or a crappy jazz band who needs a crappy clarinet player, or ...someone who doesn't know anything about music aptitude at all who thinks they need an F recorder player.  At any rate, good to hear from you!

(edit: ok, I see you still play bass, but I'll leave it in for posterity. I think it's awesome you still play!)

@Pat: I'm well, my friend. How are you and yours?  I still love music (and especially anime and game music) more than life itself.  Hence my love for Theatrhythm FF.  I just wrote a review of Robotics; Notes for my friend Mike at Anime Herald, and I'm slowly but surely developing the concept and content for my own AD successor.  I hope to be in contact with you (well really, "you guys") soon enough.

@Mickeymac92: what do you plan to do with that..fffffffish~

See? Now I'm all depressed about it. WHY DID YOU TELL ME.

Dice: If your ditch has a refrigerator, you might survive the next nuclear blast.  See? Life's not so bad.

I even caught a fresh post from Nallo on this visit.  My life is complete.

Unfortunately for you guys, my forum credentials are still good, but I'm not a blatherer. I'll let you make this thread epic, or not.  Your choice.

I don't even remember how long it's been since I posted here, last. I could look, but I like the mystery better.  Oh, RPGFan!  How you've shaped my adult life!  I've been meaning to thank you for that, and also curse you -- mostly thank.  Or possibly curse.  Recently I was at Anime Boston, and collecting 3DS puzzle panels, and like *everybody* that StreetPassed me was playing Pokemon X and/or Y.  Only one person out of more than a hundred was playing Bravely Default, the game I'm playing, which is awesome.  Funnily enough, I finished my village on 25-ish workers, and the 130+ I have now have nothing to do until the Titans arrive.  It's like an honest to goodness real village.  Anyway, I realized that the puzzle panels are just like Pokemon right as I left the convention.  Speaking of which, Skyward Sword is awful.  How the *fuck* did Aonuma make Twilight Princess good?  He's failed at pretty much everything else.  But I digress.  Before I get off the topic of the 3DS: Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is the greatest RPG ever made.

But enough about me. RPGFan clearly has gone through some changes since I last popped in.  It's a sizable surprise not to see Rudo at the helm, but John, you're like a ninja or some other kind of badass. I'm sure you're doing the site proud.  Liz and Mike, good to see you still in the staff roster.  Also Neal and everyone else whose names I would remember instantly from your old handles.  RESPECK.

So how the hell are you, RPGFan?  I'm ashamed to admit I couldn't keep Anime Dream going for the long haul, despite the years of being a sister site to you all. It was all my fault, and with that in mind, I'm thinking of starting another site!  :)  It's, er, in the works.  If I can take a break from playing RPGs....

How come nobody's talking about X-2?  I know all you guys were gay for that game.  You practically grew a coat of lipstick as the then-world-famous job system coddled you in your ride through the abyss of girly pleasure.

...I take no responsibility for this thread.  ^_-;

Hey guys!  Thought I'd drop in and say what's up.  Well, that's done.

I also wanted to share a comment about a game music concert I went to.  It was my second, actually, and both orchestras played One Winged Angel, and both played it up ahead of time as like God's fucking gift to game music.  Personally, I don't care if I ever hear it again.

Missed you guys. :)

Nallo's like a Ninja, or something.

(Edit: OK, so I realize how ridiculously late I am at responding to this.  This might be the first time I've actually read this particular board. ^^;;)

Thoughts in no particular order.  Except, they're ordered.

Happy [11?], RPGFan.  Thanks for giving me OCD and ruining my life.

Nah, you guys rock.  I feel bad that I don't come around more often.

Oh yeah?  Who remembers Hatless | ZP | Seifer^Almasy/Takumi^Fujiwara | Nallo | Eusis (what happened to that guy, anyway?) | Phoenix's Rage | Feena | XenoOffspring the punckof LUNAR | Skyclad | Prince Mars | Keith's sig?  My lawn.  Get off.

Kadamose was endless entertainment.  Keith's sig was endless entertainment.  Some random girl faked Seifer's suicide.  We've been through some weird shit.

Draconic Emperor Losfer.

Man, what a crapulent name that was.  :P

Not as bad as my first handle: "Cid (Which one?) (I don't know!)"

It still pains me to say that I once went by the username "Fenix Down."

Holy shit.  I was wondering what happened to you, and you've been here the whole time! I probably shouldn't say this, but Fenix Down is an awesome name and you should've stuck with it. :P

We desperately need a former handles database.
