Touch season finale was so good, and ended on a wonderful note. Enough of a loose end to start a season 3 with, but also enough closure that it wouldn't be aggravating if there was no season 3. I really like when seasons end on such a note.

I hate to break it to you but it was announced a week or two ago that the show was cancelled and there would be no season 3.

I have only met Dade.

I wouldn't meet anyone else. You all suck.

Seriously though there are only a couple people on the site I wouldn't want to meet. I can meet people at PAX this year if my PAX ticket hookup comes through. He bought an extra ticket for Saturday.

I intend to meet Starmongoose the next time I go to the land of haggis and sheepfucking. Within the next couple years.

When I take my road trip I might meet some people if they are interested in such things.

Thanks! I had a 2007 Nissan Versa but it started having issues. I decided to go look and really liked the feel of the CX5. It rides like a car and has the capacity for stuff. With 28avg miles per gallon right now I am excited. I was getting around 33 on the highway. My versa was not nearly as good.

It is black on black with tinted windows. I am gangsta

I would play Rift again but you will stop playing in about a week Daniel. Just like every other MMO I have played with you. You suck.

Really wanted to punch a patron today. First time I've ever been truly pissed at a patron. For those of you who don't know, I work in a library as a paraprofessional, doing a lot of the same stuff librarians do, but with a few key differences. Anyway, one of the dudes at the computer lab was being rude to a 14 year old kid because the way the kid was moving around in his seat made the chair squeak. I was behind the reference desk just 6-7ish feet away from the kid, and it was not close to being loud enough to warrant being considered a nuisance. The kid wasn't doing it to be annoying, he was just adjusting the way he was sitting for comfort. However, the guy next to him pretty much berated the poor kid for it, and the guy to the other side of the kid started to fucking laugh. He was laughing at a 14 year old kid being scolded by some random guy over stupid shit. I wanted to deck both of them. Seriously, I understand teenagers can do annoying stuff just to be annoying, but this kid was harming nobody and was minding his own business. Of course, I can't say shit unless the kid tells me he is being harassed, otherwise it is out of the staff's hands. The worse part is that the guy who scolded the kid is actually a nuisance and does annoying shit all the time. Real fucking manly to pick on a 14 year old kid and laugh at him.

My fiance is under that same bind of not being able to do anything at her job unless her staff directly talks to her about an issue they are having with other people/patrons. I'm curious as if you are able to shape the situation to fit the need of your profession and involvement with patrons. Would you be able to intervene if your defense was you were simply assisting two patrons with an issue of a broken/squeaky chair?

What exact rules of the library prevented your intervention?

my apologies if it sounds bold to ask, but I'm always concerned with the well being of my customers against other customers (I work in retail) and I generally have to shape the situation so that it goes along the company's code of conduct.

I never bothered. I always said "Fuck the rules" if someone was being treated unfairly by another person in my presence. I always did what was right, consequences be damned. I am Batman.

Someone at work found a box of PS1 RPGs. He doesn't play RPGs. He is selling me said box for $40. It has Valkyrie Profile, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Lunar Silver Star Story complete, and Legend of Dragoon. Also a few FF games. Super excited.

I decided recently to try and get back into shape. When I was in the Air Force I could jog 2 miles without even really breathing too hard. Now, I have never really been in AMAZING shape, but I was definitely better off at that point in my life.

I ran two miles today and felt it. It was a light jog at a 10% incline. I am tired as hell and my chest was burning by the end. It felt good to make it, but I intend to run/jog/walk at least 2 miles each day until it is no longer hell to do so and then I will increase the distance or speed or both.

Oh, and if anyone has any ideas for food to eat, meals, tips, thoughts? Neal, I am looking at you, bro.

edit 2: Anything but poultry since recently that is what I found out I am allergic to. Thanks!

Terrorists?

By definition these guys were/are terrorists. They set bombs to kill a lot of people and cause mass fear. Whether they were working with a larger terrorist group or not we will have to wait and see. So yeah.. Terrorists.
