I got a GPS for my car since I just got a new job that requires driving. I also got a PS3 and a gift card to Barnes and Noble.

Holy shit. Did you know that there is a website connected to these boards? Did you know that they review games? Did you know that the very game you are asking about was reviewed by the magnificent Patrick Gann? Holy shit! You should try...looking around or something.

*yawn*.. its funny how pedantic some of you geeks are. i dont see what the big deal is. any way, if anybody else would like to leave an opinion of steambot chronicles (as i have already read the review and want more opinions) leave them here!

It's funny that you call others geeks when you are posting on a forum for RPGs. As for it being a big deal, I am not sure where you get the idea that it is a big deal. I was simply answering your question that someone had played it since you asked if anyone had. Yes I did it in a manner that might be considered as me being a dick, but I don't really care. Asking if ANYONE has played it is a bit ridiculous considering where you are posting your question.

Feel free to attempt to insult me again by calling me pedantic. You could even try calling me verbose, if you wish, as I do tend to be wordy. I find it all amusing.

maybe he only need some opinion by different people insted of a personal review!

He wrote:"has anyone played this game? any good? its an rpg, but what is its style similar to?"

This would imply that he has read nothing about it. To answer the first question; Yes someone has played it. If he had not then there would be no review about it. His second question is answered in the review as well. The score and the comments would go to tell him if it was any good. The last can also be gleaned from the review. If one were to break down the components of said review, one might be able to determine what said game is similar to.

You do realize that your response is a bit asinine since a review is an opinion from a person, and as such your use of the word "insted", which I am assuming you meant "Instead", attempts to negate Patrick Gann as a person who's opinion does not matter.

If you had said "Maybe he wants the opinions of other people besides just the one review" that would have been viable. Hell, you still could have used the word instead if you had perhaps worded your response better. "Maybe he wants the opinion of other people, instead of relying on just one review" would also have been acceptable. As it stands, your response fails. Good day, sir.

I hate having to agree with clients, especially if it's something they hired me to do. "The customer is always right" is total bullshit; most times, the customer is wrong.

That, my friend, is why I have the most customer complaints in my district. I refuse to follow the "customer is always right" philosophy and often follow the "customer is always an asshole" philosophy. I rarely ever actually insult a customer, but if they are being a moron I point out where their idiocy is most abundant. People don't like that.

That's quite possibly the worst butchering of "Seiken Densetsu" I've ever seen.

hehe Shiguma dont be hard on me it don't fair :) hehe i know i need to be crossed in the street before the public on it :)

the pros is that now i know to write it perfectly :)))

...I can't believe you complained about Seiken Densetsu when you get a response like this? Coherent sentences don't occur and you complain about the spelling of Seiken Densetsu...shame on you, Shigs.

you are moron if you don't have something smart to say don't say anything at all. im here for 2 reasons .1. talk about rpgs
2. improve my english the  best i can.
i wanna see you study hebrew all be yourself and i bet you dont get ever to the same level my english get.

so shut up.

ps. do yourself and m e favor and stay away from my messages

Calm yourself down, assclown. I didn't even fucking insult you. My comment was aimed at Shiguma for complaining about you not spelling something correctly (Something that is relatively annoying to spell if you don't know for sure how to spell it), and him not commenting about the rest of your post.

I am not sure what you mean by "smart to say" since what I said was quite intelligently phrased. I know your basic understanding of english isn't very high, but I fail to see where anything I said warranted the douche bag response you gave, when my comment was directed at Shiguma. So no, I will not be staying away from your messages. No, I will not shut up.

I was not insulting you. If you took it that way then maybe you need to get the sand out of your vagina.

1092  Media / Brush and Quill / What book....? on: December 05, 2007, 10:45:42 AM
So with the WGA strike going on right now and a lot of movies basically being scrapped I was thinking...what book or series would you like to see as a movie or show? I know we have had some movies made from books that ended up pretty good; the Harry Potter book movies are (despite the massive cuts) seen to be a good interpretation of the books. We have also ended up with some shitty movies; Eragon, anyone?

So what would make a good movie or series?

My answer would be:
The Nightside books by Simon R. Green. Hell anything by Simon R. Green. His books are fantastic and would be AWESOME movies or TV series.

I also think the Riftwar Saga by Raymond Feist would be awesome as a series of movies. Especially with the technology available now.

So what would you like to see?
1093  The Rest / General Discussions / Activision and Vivendi merge to form Activision Blizzard on: December 02, 2007, 07:35:37 PM
I am less than concerned since Vivendi will have a majority share in the company.

Played an alt for a bit today. Had some douche bag hunter come over to the BE starting area and put down a snake trap. Well, right now there is a bug that even if you aren't PVP enabled you can set off that trap and die. He then stood over my corpse for the next 3 minutes so I didn't rez because I knew he would do it again. So, I reported the bug which of course they said "We know".
