Asking everyone I know that may go to SDCC to pick up a Funko for me. I didn't realize how tough it would be to get someone to grab it for me.

I need the help of someone going to San Diego Comic Con. There is a Funko collectible that is going to be exclusive to the show at first and then most likely hard to find after. It is the Unmasked Flash from the TV show. My gfs son collects these Dunks and this one he wants really badly. I am hoping if you are going I can pay for it and shipping to have it sent to me so I can give it to him as a gift. If you can help the  PM me.

The miniature XBox 360 controller has been the greatest PC controller I've ever had.

I'm with ya on that one as well. While on the subject of controllers, though on a different note entirely, anyone remember this epic fail from back in the day??

I had that and I loved it! I could drink and eat without putting down my controller!

Actually you can play entirely free. You can buy Patron with credits which you can get from buying Apexs with gold from other players. You can then use those credits to get Patron.

It definitely had the potential to be a pay to win style game, but there isn't anything that game breaking sold in the marketplace It is mainly a way to get gold to buy better gear.

Is anyone else playing this free mmo? It is an interesting mix of pve and pvp, with a huge focus on the latter later in the game.

Annubis, the swelling is not that dramatic, fortunately. Besides, I figure that's something even my GP would have noticed.

I'd say cool it with the 3 hours of daily exercise? That seems a bit excessive to me. But then I'm a lazy slob so take my athletic advice with a grain of salt.

It's nothing intense, mostly 20km/h cycling with some 25km/h here and there. And it's not all at once either. It's mostly divided into 30-60 minute chunks (unless there's some anime to binge watch, hurray for my exercise bike!).

Besides, isn't this what's supposed to be a normal amount of moving around?

Chair height, make sure it's just right so that your feet are resting on the floor but not pushing against it. Also make sure that there's no pressure applied to your joints which would bend them in a way they aren't supposed to (like resting your foot on its edge that will apply minimal sideways pressure to your knee). Lastly, get up and have a little walk when you feel your legs getting stiff, maybe do a little stretching to get the blood circulating.

Yep, I got that all right. Well, actually, I haven't tried the stretching yet. I'll try that, thanks :)

Also make sure you are staying hydrated. Not just water, but electrolytes and stuff. I know when I get dehydrated my fingers swell up to look like sausages. Delicious delicious sausages.

This thread is always a fun read. Good luck on your dating prospects, Agent D.~

Anyways, I've been sick as a dog for two days now. :( I think it may just be allergies (The pollen count is rediculous in my area right now, especially the mold spore count, according to Weather.com), which makes it worse since I could just wake up tomorrow and be all better, only to get worse the day after. This time of year really blows. I'm missing work today, too, and I finally got on Cashier training this week...

And to think, the last time I got an allergy test, they said I didn't have any allergies. Then how do they explain the hives when I have artificial sweeteners or Penicillin? Or the congestion I get every spring? Of course I have allergies. The freakin' idiots probably dropped the vial and didn't fess up. It's not like I wouldn't have taken the test again if they asked. I would've been annoyed, but you know what's more annoying? Having to wear a yellow and black shirt outside and avoiding all the freakin' bees because I have no idea if I'm allergic or not, and I'm not about to find out the hard way...

Allergies can come and go. I am no longer as allergic to grass pollen, but I went from testing reactive to only three things to testing reactive to everything that's not a bee or food :-/  My friend had a mild reaction to shellfish in the past almost passed out from being unable to breathe when his allergy flared up and reacted much worse than previously.

An old test might no longer be accurate or maybe you had a good day histamine-wise

This is very true. Your allergies tend to shift and change every 7-13 years. I am no longer allergic to peanuts or seafood, but I am now allergic to chicken.

I have been sick for the last week. I had a fever and chest congestion. I do not like it. It is the first time I have been regular sick in a couple years.
23  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: why does first shift feel like a prison? on: May 14, 2015, 09:16:36 AM
I work 6am-2:30pm and I love it. I personally think second shift is terrible. Yes you get to sleep in, but you spend the day getting ready or wondering what time it is because you have to go to work. I get up early anyway, so my schedule, which I get to make myself, is perfect for me.

Holy fuck... I'd shit myself then saw off my hand.  Akira-levels of gross, but, y'know, real.

That person is now one of the hive-mind.

Finally finished setting down the back patio and redoing the mulch. That is a lot of work. I am not equipped to do that much work.

UGH. My car just had to be towed to the shop. I was driving and lost power briefly, like for a second my music and everything cut out. Then suddenly several lights are on on my dash and my car doesn't have any get up and go. At least it is under warranty but I am without a car for the moment.

the new doritos flavor, spicy street taco, is for shit.

That sounds like shit

Jus' pimpin' and hoe'in right Annubis?

I wish... I've yet to stamp the V-card.

When it comes to this, I think it's good to take a page from The 40 Year Old Virgin: That's awesome, that means you don't have any STDs and that shit is scary as hell.  When it happens I'm sure it'll be dope because you're fantastic and I've loved corresponding with this place...in, well, the capacity we do... =/

I didn't share all my breakups and dating stuff in this thread. A few though. Looking back on them... Wow. Haha. If I had shared all there would be one every few pages. At least now I am in a good one.

I'm pretty fortunate, I got one of those 'don't look back' dispositions (except about that one super-embarassing thing I did that if I take the time to remember keeps me up at night...like all 8 things).

But anyways, I sent this to a buddy after a breakup and I think it's a good attitude to take on after one (I'm not trying to comfort you and it's awesome you're in a good one now, do tell stories if anything awesome happens):

I gave the new bf (I wonder how long the grace period is on that) a sauerkraut kiss once. He didn't appreciate it, so I can only conclude he's a fake German.

ARGH  That's why there's all these trips to Germany!  I thought it was for frequent vacations..like it was so fun the first time, let's go again...*naive*
But that's fantastic to here!

And go figure, I'm cool with a garlic kiss.  I do enjoy garlicky food and if a girl digs it too, I'm alright with the garlic kiss.

Not a fan of the Dorito kiss, or the skunky beer kiss.  Haven't made out with anyone from the deep south, so I don't know how bad a chitlin kiss is- though I hear it can be unpleasant.

Holy moly, we could talk about our favorite flavors of kisses all day.  And no jokes about Hershey Kiss chocolates!

When it comes to other smells, I like when a girl's hair smells like nice shampoo.  It's a clean smell I can dig.  I can't stand heavy perfume, though.  I think a lot of that hides natural smells we're drawn to.  It's like with dogs- they can instantly know if another dog is cool by sniffing butts.  It's like "not my smell... not my smell... AHH, THAT one's my smell."  Like if a person smells a certain way, we're just more drawn to them, ya know?  It's clear that I'm into clean scents, like certain shampoos and clean laundry.

The only kiss I hate is smoking kiss...bleh.  But is actually just "kissing too much", by the end of the day your breath smells like eggs, it's naast.

And I tootally agree about the perfume bit.  A person's natural smell is an odd draw (pheromones?), some perfume is nice (it makes you want to get closer when there's just a bit), but when people cake that shit on it's effect is ironically the exact opposite.

I DRAW AND WORK, I HAVE NO COOL STORIES.

Yeah I typically don't care about the relationship soon after. I meant when I looked back at this thread. I posted quite a bit about them haha

The more I learn about the story of the show The Flash the more I want to know. This last episode was ridiculous and Harrison Wells is one of my favorite characters.

Local used game store sold me a wireless PS3 controller without a battery...  I figured this out after 3-4 hours of forum searching that didn't help at all. Of course, the answer was WAY more obvious than anything anyone on a tech message board was going to come up with.

So I just spent the last 2 hours opening up 2 six axis controllers and taking the good battery out of my old bad controller and putting it into my new (ripoff) one.

I could have just waited until tomorrow and taken the thing back I guess.

You could always bring back the one that you switched the battery out of...
