So when I moved in with my girlfriend she had three cats. U had one cat. So we had a total of four cats. Well my cat and her cats did not get along. Well two of them mellowed to her presence and they learned to get along well enough that they weren't fighting. The third started peeing and pooping on the couch and everything else. Including my girlfriends son. Yes. He got peed on. Twice. Well today we finally had to make the decision to surrender her. It wasn't healthy for her or us. It was the most difficult decision I have ever made. I am going to go cry now.

My girlfriend and I redid the dining room table. We bought it for $20 at a yard sale. We stripped off the ugly teal and primed it. Then we used chalkboard paint. The entire table is now a chalkboard.

Also. Everyone go tell Konami thay we want more console Suikoden and Vandal Hearts.

The Finder. I loved this show. I am not sure why. Probably the main actor. He amuses me..

My girlfriend made bacon mac and cheese, so I made a sausage and sauteed onions. Combined them all and added some sriracha-

Different steak with sauteed mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. This was my dinner for Thanksgiving a few years ago when I was by myself.

Hmm... wondering whether or not to upgrade to Windows 10 or wait.

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 then yes. Upgrade. If you are using 7 then you can wait.

Windows 10 fixes a lot of issues of 8 by basically making it into a hybrid of 8 and 7.
24  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: The demise of the Sega Saturn and why we chose the consoles we did on: August 05, 2015, 06:33:37 PM
I actually owned a Saturn (still do, same machine no less) and a PlayStation concurrently (yay for birthday/Christmas and aunts & uncles who know you like videogames), so I never had to make a severe choice. I played a LOT of Virtua Fighter 2, Shining Force III, and Dragon Force back in the day, but I was always kind of aware that the PSX had a larger library and better graphics. I think it was around the time that FFVIII came out that I really started to see my Saturn gaming drop off, largely because of how many new things the PSX had to offer. It's sad that Sega constantly shat the bed with the Saturn, 'cause it wasn't a bad little machine, just ill-positioned to succeed in the market.

HOLY SHIT. IT'S HIDOSHI. It's only been about 3 years since you posted....

I had a Saturn and a PS as well. I mainly bought the Saturn for Shining Force....then we only got the first part and I was sad.
25  The Rest / General Discussions / A rant OR what bugs me about Nintendo on: July 28, 2015, 01:50:28 PM
So I have been playing my 3DS a lot recently. What strikes me as a bit asinine is the inability to connect my 3ds to the WiiU to stream games on the TV. It seems like that technology wouldn't be that difficult for them to implement considering I CAN use my 3ds as a controller for Smash Bros. I know that WiiU isn't exactly at the forefront of Nintendos development at the moment, with the new console(?) they are developing, but this seems like something they should have done awhile ago. I also know that most people play their 3DS when out and about, or pooping, but sometimes I just want to play a good game and don't want to strain my eyes, or neck, playing the 3DS.

I am sure people have brought this up before, but with the new Fire Emblem coming out soon...ish I want to play the games on a bigger screen. Dammit!

That reminds me, wasn't there some character in Awakening that was like a thousand-year old goddess who "decided" to appear in human form as a little girl, lol.

Nowi, a dragon, looks maybe 12 in human form. It's awkward.

Well I just wasted an entire morning reading every comic. Thanks!
28  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Is brand loyalty "worth it?" on: July 24, 2015, 12:41:29 PM
I am loyal to Samsung for TVs. I have never had an issue with my Samsungs.

Gamewise-I have a bit of brand loyalty to the Disgaea series. Even when it hasn't been all that good or innovative I have bought them.
29  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Recently Viewed Movies Episode 2: The Vampire Bites Back on: July 24, 2015, 09:59:18 AM
Watched It Follows-I thought it was so bad I found myself wondering-How could anyone enjoy this movie and think it is in anyway scary? I can understand how most movies can cater to different tastes, but nothing about this struck me as scary. For anyone. The worst part for me was the music. A lot of it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. The acting was terrible. The pacing was bad. The STD creature was at no point scary. It was just not what I expected.

Watching all of Supernatural again. My girlfriend hadn't seen most of it. Good stuff.
