4831  The Rest / General Discussions / Manchester Cathedral upset over Resistance: Fall of Man on: June 10, 2007, 01:44:13 AM
They're bitter because Sony didn't ask "permission" to use the cathedral.

I'm sure Germany can now turn around and sue every WWII FPS maker that exists today!

Let's clog the courts with useless lawsuits like this one!

What the hell was wrong with Thomas?

And the CORRECT ranking is II, III, V/I, IV

Napalm Death - Incinerator.

Even though it's a cover, it's still one of my favourite NP songs.

The Messengers - which was better than I expected.

That doesn't excuse the name.

I just hope that Suikoden VI picks up after where Suikoden III left off.

If you like beat-em-ups, both X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance are worth a run-through on the PSP.  Lenneth is a great pick.  Most of the stuff I play for my PSP tends to not be RPGs, though.  Both Metal Gear Ac!d games are great, and cheap, now.

I'm more interested in MGS Portable Ops, as I *loved* MGS3.

Is XMen Legends anything like Age of Apocaplypse? I played that on PS2 and enjoyed it.

I don't know Gurumin - but I'll look into it, thanks.

I haven't forgotten about Crisis Core, but that's ages away yet.

Concrete donkey.  Also, test post - the boards seem to be having issues with the e-mail system.

I keep getting error messages about debug mode when I post.

I've heard Ys is good but has brutal load times.

Poplocrois is good but pretty "trad".

Tales.....I'm not sure I'll bother with.

Breath of Fire 3 - I'll probably run through it once for fun. Been ages since I've played it.

Am I leaving anything out?

(Besides the obvious homebrew PS1 games)

To be fair, I really don't see this as a series that would've entertained her. She's purely for gameplay, and while Suikoden's generally serviceable and sorta fun... Without the plot and characters you're left with, depending on the installment an average or slightly sub-par RPG with a character recruitment gimmick.

I wouldn't say that's quite fair....I quite like the battle system in Suiko.

And you need to stop picking apart every single post I make on this forum. You've done it since I got here and it's goddamn annoying.

We can save the remake argument for a more fitting thread, but this one should probably live long enough for the guy to get his suggestions.

I did give my suggestions. You two are the ones attacking me about it.

Seeing as they're the same game and you said the first one was fun to play, he should get the first one. It came first - it matters the most.

I listed the original only if he had the time. The remake is far superior and he should play that first.

Of course, you wouldn't know that, having never played it.

Because I played it when Wild Arms 1 came out.

The remake is much better in terms of gameplay and presentation, but the original is still fun to play.

If the original is still fun to play, he doesn't need the remake. Why play the same game twice?

go with the original anyway.

Good advice.

I have no "bias".
