If you like beat-em-ups, both X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance are worth a run-through on the PSP.  Lenneth is a great pick.  Most of the stuff I play for my PSP tends to not be RPGs, though.  Both Metal Gear Ac!d games are great, and cheap, now.

To be fair, I really don't see this as a series that would've entertained her. She's purely for gameplay, and while Suikoden's generally serviceable and sorta fun... Without the plot and characters you're left with, depending on the installment an average or slightly sub-par RPG with a character recruitment gimmick.

We can save the remake argument for a more fitting thread, but this one should probably live long enough for the guy to get his suggestions.

I listed the original only if he had the time. The remake is far superior and he should play that first.

Of course, you wouldn't know that, having never played it.

The remake is much better in terms of gameplay and presentation, but the original is still fun to play.

go with the original anyway.
