And I think you meant "without."

You're right, I did. Thanks for spotting my mistake.

As Prime Mover said, an atheist has faith in the non-existence of God.

Not believing in something is not the same as having faith that something doesn't exist.

Faith is belief without proof.

I don't have faith that god doesn't exist. I don't care.

Final Cut is better than the Wall.

The Wall got played so many fucking times by so many people I knew in high school that I still can't bear to listen to it now.

Frank Zappa is a better guitarist than Gilmour.

(Though I think Gilmour is good)

Faith is a wonderful thing.  Everyone, be ye God-fearing or atheist, has faith and belief in something.  Faith is something that I think makes humans human.

That is a load of horseshit. The biggest load of horseshit I have seen in a long time.

A new adventure game IP from Squeenix definitely sounds promising.
Will be happy when I see some footage.

There's a slight link but it's tenuous.

Well, it's not the best picture I took, but it's the most appropriate for the site.

I picked up Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman and a short story collection by Iain M Banks in Hong Kong.

The best RPG ever is No One Can Stop Mr. Domino.

That was an RPG?
4902  The Rest / General Discussions / So I went into work today.. on: March 23, 2008, 08:23:42 AM
I had a boss at one of my schools who put a keystroke program on the school computer, recorded all my passwords and used to go into my MSN, email etc.

Edit - and then impersonate me online.

Should finish Grandia today on the way to the airport (playing on PSP), and then will start up a game of Jade Cocoon, which I haven't played in about 7 or 8 years.

SH:C is the one that got more attention and more importantly made itself standout with the (I dare say Whedon-esque) sense of humor.

Fuck! *That's* the thing I hated that I could never put my finger on.
The shitty Whedon-esque influence!

Edit - That and the shitty revisionism towards the villain from the first game.

What happens with me is I go home once a year around Xmas time.
EB hasn't changed to Gamestop in Canada yet, so I walk into my local EB (used to be in Ottawa, now closer to Toronto) with a list. I go through and grab what I can find from the list, along with anything else that catches my eye. I usually drop a couple of hundred on games when I'm home - and quite often on used games, though it depends on what it is.

It's pretty painless for me to go to EB because I usually go in the middle of the day when there aren't many people around - kids are usually still in school for the first while I'm home and since I'm older than the snots that are working in the store, I don't have to take any crap from them.

For me, it's pretty painless.
