Case in point Danger Mouse; I loved that show as a kid.  Bought the whole series on dvd, watched it with a fellow danger mouse fan.  We made it through a few episodes and realized it was a lot better in our memories.  I left the DVDs with him.

I had the same experience with that show.  Loved it as a kid, bought it on DVD, watched maybe 3 episodes and put it away probably forever.

My volume 2 is still shrink wrapped.

Watched Savages tonight.  It was decent.  Ending was kinda weak.

That sucks.  Whenever Amazon goofed up for me, it was in my favor.  I order a ds game and instead of sending me one, they sent me a case of 5.

I've been playing 999 off and on for the past several weeks.  I finally got the best ending today.

I played it 4 times and died horribly every single time.  Had fun the whole time through, but didn't have it in me to do a 5th run.

Played super Mario brosU.  Did multiplayer with my bf and man do we suck.  We kept taking each other out.  So much for co-op.

Hey Dincrest.  I'm hanging in here.  Saw your pics.  You haven't aged much in the past 6 yrs.  You must have good genes.

Dang daggerstrike, that's horrible.  I have never even heard of that condition.  No atkin's diet for you.

Adventures of Tintin was a long time Belgian comic book series AND was a Saturday morning cartoon back in the 1980s I believe.

I used to watch the show in the 90s ( might be the same show you were talking about).  It is streaming on Netflix now.  I  loved it as a kid so I am afraid to watch it again as an adult.  Nostalgia is a funny thing.  Case in point Danger Mouse; I loved that show as a kid.  Bought the whole series on dvd, watched it with a fellow danger mouse fan.  We made it through a few episodes and realized it was a lot better in our memories.  I left the DVDs with him.

Anyways, I watched Magic Mike.  It was okay.  I have seen male strippers irl and they look nothing like those guys.  I feel like it was like a step up movie; as in you should fast forward to the dance scenes and just watch those.

Hey GR.  It's nice to see some familiar people are still here.  School, job change, life, and a crappy computer kept me away from here/games.  I actually went casual and played hidden object games (gasp).  Though a lot of those games are hybrid adventure games and were pretty entertaining.  Now I have a 7 on 7 off shift, gamefly membership, and an awesome bf that understands I need gaming time.

As for IBS, my brother was wrongfully diagnosed with that many years ago.  Turns out he had Chrone's disease.  Being lactose intolerant is not that horrible.  There are wonderful alternatives for us.  Lactaid is a God-send.  Be thankful you don't have Celiac's disease.  Of course they have many alternatives too.  I have thought about trying a gluten free diet to see if I feel better.  I do weird diets occasionally.  Mostly they give me headaches, like the time I went vegan.

Grandia
Dark Cloud 2 - My favorite rpg of all time.  I forgot to eat playing this game.

Of course I would much rather have a new hd game in the series rather than a remake.

Thanks.  It was not infected.  There was no exudate (no oozing or white stuff).  He thought it could have been a mucous filled cyst, but it was a solid mass of tissue.  Thus the biopsy was ordered.  Waiting is the hardest part.  It doesn't help that I am a natural worry-wort.

Got a WiiU after my Wii stopped reading discs.  Been playing Nintendoland.  DK crash course is fun, but hard.  Pikmin adventures is really fun.  I missed out on the Pikmin games, but I am definitely picking Pikmin 3 up when it comes out.

11  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Yakuza 5 - Ryu no taxi driving, bear shooting & street dancing on: December 11, 2012, 02:48:14 AM
Are they localizing this game?  I am a huge Yakuza fan.  I even enjoyed Dead Souls.  When I went to Japan last month I held a copy of Yakuza 5 in my hands.  If only I could read Japanese.  On a somewhat related note, I went to a Don Quixote store over there.   It is a pretty cool store with everything you can imagine there.

I played The Last Story and Xenoblade back to back and I must say I found the former paled in comparison to the latter. Not to say TLS was bad.  It just didn't draw me in gameplay-wise or story-wise.  I did appreciate it's brevity especially after the marathon that was Xenoblade.

Surfing the web to keep my mind occupied.  Went to an ENT today because of an enlarged tonsil.  He looked at it and said it was not normal and cut it out for a biopsy.  He did not know what it was.  He said tonsillar masses are usually either lymphomas or squamous cell carcinoma but they usually occur in old men.  Trying not to think about it, but every time I swallow it hurts.  Looking up tonsillar cancers on the web was a bad idea.  Probably freaking out over nothing,

Posting after many a years absence.  Stopped posting when my computer died.  Now I have an iPad.

Anyways, I am lactose intolerant and I can eat yogurt.  They even make lactose free ice-cream.  It is sour cream that kills me.  Even a teaspoon of that stuff is deadly.

I seriously feel old after looking at this thread. I remember when some of the members here were kids.

Ashton - You look great.  Hope you can maintain it through the holidays.
