AC:BF - Finished sequence 7 of the main story after seeing I was only 34% done with the main quest and 60% done of the side quests.  There is way too much to do.  I am really bad at tailing people whether it is by land or by sea.  I can't tell you how many times I failed by being detected or losing the tail.  I also died several times trying to defend a friendly ship from a whole brigade of enemy ships.  That said, I am still having fun.  Go figure.

I too bought Broken Sword 5.  Still have to play 4.  Anyways I was proud that I didn't go crazy like last year.  I haven't downloaded a single steam game I have purchased (a little over a dozen).  At GOG, I went crazy since the more you buy the cheaper it is.  I have purchased 50 games over the years.  Several of those I have no intention of playing. But I have tried/beaten several of those.  I seriously should only only buy when I have nothing to play.  It is just so hard resisting the sales.

Thanks for the support everyone.  My mom has her first appointment with the oncologist next Thursday (seems so far way).  I am trying to stay positive but I have trouble sleeping at night.  I need to stop worrying and wait till the staging process to see how far the cancer has spread.  I am hoping she will just need surgery and won't have to do the chemo/ radiation.

As for the dog, we named her Maya.  She is on antibiotics for a month.  Apparently heart worms live symbiotically with a certain kind of bacteria.  It is easier to kill the heart worms when you kill the bacteria.  After that she will get x-rays and an EKG to see how bad the infection is.  There is still a possibility she is too far along and will need to be put down.  If she is okay then she gets 2 shots that are two months apart.  First shot kills the adult worms and the second kills the baby/eggs.  She can't be active during treatment since the fragments of the dead heart worms could lodge in her organs and cause damage.  So cage rest for her.  Treatment is going to cost $700 something dollars.  If we turned her into the pound I am sure they would put her down since she is sick.  Luckily,  my dad decided he is going to adopt her.  She really is sweet.

I had my surgery yesterday and got my port removed.  I should be happy that I am in remission and no longer need my port, but I got hit with terrible news on Monday.  Found out my mom has stomach cancer and the sweet stray dog we found has heart worms.  The hits just keep coming.

Klyde -  Jumping into AC:BF without playing the other games seems to be no problem.  Most of the time is spent pirating.  The scenes that take place in the modern world sometimes allude to previous games, but those scenes are so few and far between it doesn't matter.  I just concentrate on the pirating and have fun.

Got hooked and beat Bloodmasque, the ios game from Square Enix.  It was actually really fun.  You can beat the game without paying real money.  I highly recommend it since it is free at the moment.

My brother and I get along so much better now that there is an ocean between us.  Actually I think growing up helped a lot.  I know that saying time and distance helps doesn't exactly help you.   I'm failing to impart good advice.  Just listen to Dice.

Just beat Bastion.  Chose to save a certain somebody and move forward.  Liked the game.  Loved the music.
Also am playing Assassian's Creed:  Black Flag.  It is my first AC game but probably won't be my last.  I love pirate games.

29.  For a game consisting of guild quest I surprisingly had fun.  It is great seeing familiar faces and some new ones.  Only thing was the Tales characters often remained so under leveled compared to me I had to use the generic party members for some quests.  Well for that reason and because they would often refuse me even though we were good friends.  The whole kill X numbers of enemies, craft this, and find so and so got old after a while.  But by then I was leveled up enough to beat it no problem.

30.  Good game but it seemed way too short.

Aww cute cat Din.  I love cats so much.

Anyways today a coworker brought her six year old son to work.  He was wearing a Mario shirt so I asked him if Mario was his favorite video game character.  He said no but he likes the games.  I asked him what his favorite video game was and he said Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto.  He is six years old!  Now in my co-workers defense she did not buy these games for him.  He played them at his cousins (ages 7 or 8), without her knowledge.  If I have kids I am going to be on top stuff like this.

Everyone looks good.  Tomara you really don't age.  I have the same problem as you.  People tend to think I am 10 years younger than my actual age.  Sometimes I have to pull out my i.d. before anyone believes me.

Tales of the World:  Radiant Mythology -  Apparently I am far behind in my crafting skills.  I get requests for gold and I can't even make silver, or I get requests for food with crafting requirements 40 more than my current ability.  I am also really bad about the one on one challenges.  They spam arte attacks and beat my ass down.  I can only beat some of them after leveling up 20 lvls.  I find the main story battles to be easy.  Perhaps it is because I am trying to do all the extra stuff first.

Day 2 of Hangout Fest.  Got a late start and missed 3 blocks of acts.  The first act we saw was The Electric Suns.  I had never heard of them previously but I liked all of their songs;  they made your body want to move.  Amos Lee made you want to chill out and groove to slow jams.  I tried to see Moon Taxi but the stage was small and audience space was limited so they wouldn't let people in.  So we went to stake a place at the Modest Mouse concert.  I didn't fall asleep this time unlike the first time I saw them.   It was a good show.  Got out of it late and couldn't get close enough to Fitz and the Tantrums.  Audio for them kept going back and forth between being good and being muffled.  So then went to checkout a few songs of The Flaming Lips.  Saw the whole set of The Killers.  By audience reaction, I think everyone (me included) preferred songs from their first album Hot Fuss.  Of course Mr. Brightside was the last song played.  Then I caught a few songs from Pretty Lights.  You could feel the bass.  Fun second day.

Oh funny thing that before this festival I never knew what weed smelled like.  Apparently it smells like skunk.  There is weed everywhere here and by the look of some people, other drugs as well.

At Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores.  Saw Allen Stone (very good), Balkan Beat Box (lively and fun), Bad Suns (heard them while sitting in a resturant, sounded good), the Black Keys (it's the Black Keys!).  My feet are killing me since we are walking to the beach in sandals and the hotel is a little over a mile away. Got sunburned on my forehead of all places.  Saw some girls that hula hoop during the concerts and a couple of people dressed as bears.  Off to day two.
