Okami -  Just got to the capital city.

Actually for me, the barrage of games dies down a bit this month.  I'll probably pick up FFIII and I'm iffy on Children of Mana.  The first few month of next year is when it will pick up for me:  Rouge Galaxy, Ar Tonelico, Persona 3, and possibly the Wii with its games.

Thanks for the tips guys.  There are so many sidequests in the game, I'm getting distracted from the main storyline.

Went to Circuit City to see if they had FFXII, and they didn't even have it in their computer.  I guess I'll call and see if they'll have it tomorrow.    CC online is out of stock.  So I might have to go with my original plan of waiting for it to go greatest hits and picking it up in about a year or so.  I have a stack of games that will still keep me busy.

I'm getting it now since it's on sale.  I cannot pass one up.

I too started up Okami. I have a question about the Wanted Lists.  Are the enemies in a specific place or are they random?  I can't find one and it's driving me nuts.

Hiro is definitely my favorite too.  He's so adorably dorky.

Superflat -  If you got it at Gamestop, you can always do a price challenge.  You just have to bring the flyer from CC (it was in this Sunday's paper).

Touch Detective -  I just finished this game.  I do recommend this game to people who have a hankering for adventure games.

Okay, I officially completed this game (4 cases + Bonus Episode).  For the cases, I did not have to consult any help.  Like Dincrest said, if you are stuck, just go back and visit previous places.  A lot of times I had to talk a specific character like Chloe and hear her crazy plans before the plot rolled on.  Speaking of which, the characters are wonderfully zany.  I had a lot of fun with this game.

Oh, I did visit gamefaqs because I was missing one item on the touch list. I didn't get anything for finishing the list other than sating my OCD. The game gets two big thumbs up for me.

From the Wii experience videos on Nintendos website, it seems like you go all out for Wii sports.  I'd have to play it myself to see if it is better to mimic playing tennis or just flick my wrist.  I pray Wario Ware makes people look as spastic as I've heard.  Movement is good.

Double post!  Anyways,  I'm almost finished with the game and I have come to the decision that I'm not parting with the game.  I really like it.  I'm not sure why it got so many bad reviews (translation:  I didn't read the reviews).

I have heard talk about illogical puzzles.  Honestly I think everything fits into the the Touch Detective World.  The cases aren't run of the mill cases.  They have a touch of the fantastical to it.  So doing weird stuff to solve weird cases seems alright to me.  I haven't gotten stuck yet.  I have felt no need to consult a FAQ and I'm on the last case.  Perhaps that will change, but as far as I have experienced, there has been no frustration on my part.  Although I have been playing adventure games most of my life and have run into the most insane illogical puzzles in the past.  Perhaps I am better equiped to think outside the box than the reviewers are.

Touch Detective:  I'm on the last case.  :(  I seriously don't want the game to end yet.

I never liked baby dolls as a child.  Now I'm reminded why.

I'm sure the reviews will start coming out soon.  Make your decision then.

Has anyone seen any reviews on this yet? I checked Gamerankings, and theres nothing at all. I find this odd, as most games have lots of reviews posted at release time.
As I'm only interested in the off-line portion, reviews are pretty important to me on this one.

I'm with you on the importance of the off-line portion of the game.  Game-brink has a review, but it mostly focuses on the online part.  I've been doing a lot of internet surfing, checking various forums and what not.  From what I gather, the offline part (story mode) is around 20-30hrs.  Many are stressing that the online part of the game is "where it's at" and that the offline part mainly serves to get players aquainted with the controls for the online part.
