Yes, but the whole idea behind Universe was that the offline portion was supposed to be a lot more substantial than that of the original PSO. If it's just a primer for online play, then I'm not going to bother.

Has anyone seen any reviews on this yet? I checked Gamerankings, and theres nothing at all. I find this odd, as most games have lots of reviews posted at release time.
As I'm only interested in the off-line portion, reviews are pretty important to me on this one.

My simple thought is this. The Atheists primary problem with religion is belief in something that is not there, has no evidence to support it, and simply makes no sense. Many atrocities have been done in the name of some "god" who didn't seem have a say in things either way. While Dawkins writes as if these things may not have occurred had it not been for religion, I disagree with him. Man will always find another excuse to kill each other.
The targets are those who actually believe in a "god" watching over everything they do, Christianity in specific. More peaceful "religions" like those described by Hidoshi would not fall under this category. The wired article is NOT representative of all that Dawkins has to say. It is oddly skewed, despite being written by a (presumedly, as I don't read it) technology-oriented magazine.

I read a majority of that article previously. I am reading Dawkins book, The God Delusion, right now.
I agree with him on most points, and disagree on a few.

I not so sure about this "New Atheism"(a term I hadn't heard until reading the Wired article) business, as I do not believe in pushing my Atheism onto others. I honestly don't believe religion is particularly evil either, just individual people.
If you want to believe in an imaginary bearded sky daddy, thats your business.
For the sake of open honesty, though, I will say that I truly wonder how someone could actually believe in a "god" and all that comes with it. It's just odd to me.

Oddly enough, I don't think I've ever played Zelda II. I remember seeing it, but not playing it.

I actually liked Chrono Cross quite a bit, despite it not being at all like Trigger. Hated the battle theme, though.

I REALLY liked FFVIII...until I realized I was playing it "wrong" and wasn't able to finish it. The whole drawing/junctioning thing confused me(it's not hard, really). I relied too much on the Summons, and ended up quitting about 3/4 of the way though.

Hated KOTOR. Obviously, never played the sequel.

Loved MGS2, Raiden and all. I didn't even mind all the incessant chatter.

Okami - Played through the first "dungeon", if you can call it that, and am now having fun running around the field area. I love the whole "brush" thing, and its very satisfying to see what you can do with it. I'm having a good time so far. Fun game.

Wolf Creek - An Ok "horror" movie. I just couldn't buy the normal-looking Aussie guy in that role, though. Years and years of stigma ruined it for me.

Dr. Strangelove:dhsafhal;fhalFLAFJAFLA - Mildly amusing film. I was falling asleep, so I missed some of it, but the message was clear.

Suiko V is kinda boring me so I bought Okami. Played for about 2 hours last night.
I love the look of the game. Lots of animation.
Haven't had a chance to do much yet. I'm in that first town. Just "helped" Rosano(I think that was his name) bust the rock.
There is defintely a bit of quirkiness here that I didn't anticipate. Hopefully, it doesn't ruin the experience for me. Issun is my main concern.
Overall, it seems like it's going to be a fun game.

SOTC is easily one of the best games on the PS2. I LOVED it. I thought the graphics were fantastic. I felt the color scheme worked really well for the theme.
The controls are "wonky" at first, but you really do get used to them. Same with the camera.
The epic feel of the battles is second to none.
Great game.

I am the opposite of most of you. I HATE hard games. I'm not very fond of sitting down after a long hard day and getting my ass kicked by a game.
Awhile back, I tried playing some Fire Emblem game for the GBA. Sacred Stones, I think it was. I don't think I made it past the first battle. Some characters died. I tried a couple more times. They kept dying. I never turned the game on again. (just as an aside, I used to LOVE the Shining Force games. MY kind of SRPGS)
Not to say I don't mind a bit of a challenge, but my perspective on gaming is definitely different that it used to be.
Nowadays, a game has to be FUN to keep my interest. Hard =/= fun to me.

I've been thinking about this game lately. Didn't sound like it was worth the $50 when it came out, but I told myself I would buy it when it was discounted. Apparently, the time has come.
Is the music as good or better than Laments? I liked that game more than it deserved to be liked, and I think it was mostly due to the great music.

s   l   o   w   l   y   playing through Suikoden V. I'm in Lelcar now, preparing for a ship battle, I think. The battles have been my favorite part of the game so far.
I'm tempted to stop by Gamestop on my way home and pick up Okami. I REALLY want to play that game.

I bought the new Evanescence cd yesterday. I've listened to it once through so far, and it is quite different from Fallen. Not bad, just different. I need to listen to it more to properly judge, but I like quite a few of the songs on the cd.
