It's a game playable in short bursts (30 minutes) so you can't go wrong here.

Fave rpgs:

1) SoulBlazer
2) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (had to include it, even if I don't consider it one)
3) Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (see 2.)
4) Skies of Arcadia
5) Mario & Luigi (the first game)
6) Lufia 2
7) Dragon Quest V
8) Dragon Quest VIII
9) Radiata Stories (being able to kick the NPCs is hilarious)
10) Grandia 2
65  The Rest / The Bazaar / Re: Master System. on: March 13, 2009, 03:22:40 AM
Yo, lads, I'm looking to get my hands on a Sega Master System for...  Not 60 dollars.  Looking on eBay is yielding ziltch, so...

Need the system, wires, preferably two controllers, light gun, and maybe some games.  I'm not looking to pay much, like...  Seriously, people seem to think that the system should be sold for 60 bucks.

Or even if no one has a system, anyone know any websites where I can buy old retro games and systems for decent prices?  Obviously not looking to find a complete copy of Lufia II for ten bucks, but hey, once again, 60 bucks for a Master System?  Really, guys?

Also, bare in mind, lots of American sites won't ship to Canada for whatever reason.  So the sites need to be Canuck friendly.  :P

Cheers!

Try this website: http://www.mostlymusic.biz - it's a Canadian shop located in the Greater Vancouver area and does ship around the country.  I must add that they're a very reliable business as I've personally bought many games from them before and have never been disappointed.

How about Skies of Arcadia Legends?  Plenty of exploration, great character development (at least for the main party of three).

Taking the question seriously, mine is Skies of Arcadia Legends.

But the thing is, I come from a Catholic family and because of it, I tend not to buy games that basically have demons or whatnot in them.

Devil Summoner apparently is one of those games.

What are some decent real-time rpgs?  I already have Abyss, Symphonia, Destiny II(PS1), Star Ocean: Till The End of Time, Rogue Galaxy(lost interest).  I'm looking for more with similar battle systems.

I just want to know what an expert on this subject would recommend for someone who knows nothing. What is similar to the Tales series?

As far as I know, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time comes pretty close.
