241  Media / The Soundroom / Re: FFXIII OST Sold Out on: March 23, 2010, 09:14:39 AM
Okay, since FF13 OST is sold out at the Square-Enix website does anyone know if you can still order it from there and maybe they'll just ship it once it is in stock? Just curious what people's experience was wutg purchasing from them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone know if the version on Square-enix's site is the authentic Japanese import and not some bootleg? This is the one I'm referring to: http://store.na.square-enix.com/store/sqenixus/en_US/pd/productID.175291700. Has anyone bought from this website? I saw the had a few other soundtracks I wouldn't mind buying but I want to make sure they are reputable site. Thanks.
243  Media / Single-Player RPGs / XBOX 360 RPGs on: January 26, 2010, 01:40:57 PM
I was wondering about picking up a 360 because I'd really like to play some rpgs but am unsure. I have heard some good things about Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery and a couple others. My question is is it worth the investment? It sure seems like the 360 has more rpgs than the ps3 and mainly the only games I play are rpgs. I have a DS and have a few rpgs there which seems to be the system with the most rpgs this generation. So anyway, I've also heard that the new 360s have a huge failure rate so that has me very hesitant on picking one up. I don't want to invest $300+ to have the machine fail in a year or so. Any insight would be appreciated.
244  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Grandia Series on: January 25, 2010, 09:22:55 AM
I played Grandia years ago on the playstation and still play it today on the ps2 while finding it to be enjoyable after all these years. Great story, music and graphics. I then got Grandia II for the Dreamcast and played it through to completion and unfortunately sold it along with the system. Years later I regretted getting rid of Grandia II so then I found Grandia III for the ps2 and I still find this an enjoyable series. Story this time around seemed much more predictable and the graphics while good seemed behind all the other series for the ps2. Still enjoyed it though. Just the other day I came across Grandia II for the ps2 and picked it up again and still to this day find it to be an enjoyable play through. Grandia Xtreme was the only one of the series I gave up on. The dungeons were awful.

Anyone know of Grandia IV in the works or any other Grandia title?
245  The Rest / The Bazaar / Re: Final Fantasy IV DS (brand new and sealed) for trade/sale on: January 12, 2010, 04:15:36 PM
I have added other titles I'd be willing to accept as a trade for Final Fantasy IV. Fable, Knights of the Old Republic and Morrowind all for Xbox.
246  The Rest / The Bazaar / Re: Final Fantasy IV DS (brand new and sealed) for trade/sale on: December 16, 2009, 04:36:01 PM
So you're willing to accept any of these in exchange for FFIV? Just making sure that thee isn't a hidden clause somewhere in there.

No hidden clause at all, but there are some games on the list that I would like more than others. Dragon Quest V is the game I'd like the most and Y's I and II is the one I'd like the least. Just let me know what games you have to possibly trade for FFIV. Thanks.
247  Media / The Soundroom / Re: Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver Linings on: December 10, 2009, 09:37:47 AM
I finally got a chance to listen to this album. Now, I've been a DT fan since 1991...way back. And I feel there strongest and best work was during the Images and Words album and Change of Seasons. Since then I think there has been a slight decline with Systematic Chaos being a disaster. BC&SL is a bit better...Count of Tuscany is a gem of a track and I actually like Wither. However, they now appear to be a metal band only...way back in the early days they were progressive with some metal. The early albums were magical were not filled with countless shredding guitars and awful shouting and chanting...what happened to them. Guess, I'll be sticking to the early albums until they return to that form...which they might not ever. This is the new direction for the band I'm afraid. They now sound like everyone else.

Final Fantasy 9 is still available. I think I sold 7 a couple weeks back, but I'll check. Final Fantasy 8, the original imported Japanese 4 disk cd soundtrack is still available. This is literally mint. I listened to it once and sealed it back in the plastic. Do you still have Suikoden V? What kind of condition is the disk and case/manul? Thanks.
