Link didn't work for me.

I have found that the internet can be your friend in these situations.  Want to know what happens, but don't want to read the book?  I'm sure you can find a site out there for that.

I wanted to make a site like that for movies for YEARS... but I never got around to it.  One day, I found a site called The Movie Spoiler, and was happy to see that someone else had done the work for me. :)

Turns out, they do books too:

OK, finally saw the movie, so I'm finally reading this thread.  I've seen Memento, Fadedsun - I liked it too.  When I was in India a while ago, I picked up the DVD of the Bollywood remake, Ghajini.  Being a Bollywood movie, it's mighty different.  (And yeah, I know that Aamir Khan says it's not a remake of Memento.  He's free to be as deluded as he wants to be - that movie's a remake.)

I enjoyed Inception, especially the scene CastNuri said.  That was awesome.  Thought it was funny and cool that Fischer was the same guy who played Scarecrow in Batman.  Guess Nolan liked him!  (I do too, so that's cool.)

Sorry to say, though, that my wife and I both found the ending entirely predictable.

Code:
"Oh, is it real?  Is it a dream?  Who knows!  Will the top stop spinning?"  That thing would have stopped spinning WAY before the screen went black.  Also, if it was real, why were his kids in exactly the same pose, in exactly the same clothes, at exactly the same age that they were in his memory?  Has he only been on the lam for a month?  Given Michael Caine's reaction to seeing him, that seems incredibly unlikely.

That sucks.  I saw that book and thought about reading the series, but had a bad feeling.  Guess I was right to trust my feelings.

Goddamn, just learn why it died and don't do it again.

Like Mitch Hedberg!  "My fake plants died, because I forgot to pretend to water them." :)
1896  Media / General Games / Civilizations Revolution free on iPhone/iPod Touch August 7 on: August 07, 2010, 12:11:47 PM
Don't know how many of you iPhone/iPod Touch users out there visit freeappaday.com, but today's app is noteworthy: Civilization Revolutions.  I suck at that kind of game, but I'm downloading it anyway. :)

Don't know if it'll be free after today, August 7, but it's free today!

Inception.  It wasn't bad, but we knew the ending WAY before it happened.  Regardless, the zero-G/rotating hallway fight was pretty awesome, as were a few other things I will not spoil. :)

My love life is...well, let's just say the last time someone said they loved me was about 2 years ago...and he was a kindergartener in my class. Suffice to say I don't go for for that.
We love you, Lucca! :)

I do drive and I have a Toyota Camary named Rodrigo. I picked that name because it's hilarious yelling the cars name as it slowly accelerates hills.
That is absolutely awesome.

So I was playing Vay and levelling up and I managed to pop the toe back into position while leveling up in Vay at the SAME TIME.
Apparently, you've got more XP in your little toe than most people have in their whole body.

And finally, I admit I watch America's Got Talent.
Me too.

One of the "joys" of reviewing games is that along with the good games come the bad ones.  The worst RPGs I've played from the '00s were probably Astonisha Story on the PSP and Zoids Assault on the Xbox 360.  There were others that I was pretty disappointed with, but those were the worst. :)

(Zoids Assault holds the dubious distinction of having received my worst RPGFan review to date - 55%.)

Tooker:  I'm afraid I don't actually know much of anything about Mr. Flibble, or the medium the character is from.  I drew it as part of an art project for a forum I used to frequent (all the members had themselves represented by a drawing, and the person in question wanted to be Mr. Flibble).

Long story short: Red Dwarf is a BBC sci-fi comedy series I love (despite the fact that it kind of went off the rails in its final seasons), and Mr. Flibble comes from an episode of that show. :)

I loved the first a lot - I'm very much looking forward to a sequel. :)

I bet we'll get it before Diablo 3, as well. :(

I just read this article:
http://www.somethingawful.com/d/news/don-draper-curse.php

So I had to come back and say that I don't wear suits unless I really have to, and although I've always liked hats, I've been wearing them every day for something like 3 years now, since... about a month before Mad Men started. :)

That's a sad thought, Dice (that your friends would leave you if you dressed differently).  I fall more to the other end of the spectrum.  Outside of making sure that the way I dress doesn't affect my job, I don't freaking care what other people think about the way I dress.  I wear hats pretty much every day, and I've talked before about the fact that I travel, so it's pretty much one hat per week.  This week, it's a bowler. :)

Awesome!  Congrats yet again, Robert. :)

On the flip side, I love bananas, but hate anything banana-flavored.

Gah - me too.  I think that my problem is that the banana flavor overpowers whatever other flavor is in there, so I don't get "strawberry banana" - I get "BANANA! strawberry."  But I understand that I'm weird that way.
