Yeah - I just read an article this morning about those movies. Apparently, the Cap movie is titled "The First Avenger: Captain America," and it's being released 6 weeks (or was it months?) before the Avengers movie.

LCD is the way to go. The issues Plasma had have been reduced, but LCD's still a better choice. Burn-in and cost are the most easy to cite, but I believe there are refreshing issues as well - if something's not refreshing fast enough, you get blur.

In the recent(-ish) Civil War storyline, the government finally made the superhero registration thing mandatory. Every superpowererd person was supposed to tell the government who they really were. Some thought it was the right thing to do, others didn't. Tony was the leader of the side who said they should register. He convinced Peter Parker to go public, following his example from a few years prior (Wikipedia says Tony Stark revealed his identity in 2002).
Captain America was the leader of those who said they shouldn't, which was supposed to be a real shocker, but was actually really obvious, mostly because he'd be the guy the company would think of as a "surprising" choice. He ended up getting shot and killed at the end of the storyline.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness - Just grinding right now, as I couldn't beat chapter 8 because no one could do damage to two of the enemies on the first stage (and I ran out of SP restorative items.) Did you take out the geo panel thingys? A quick reminder of the level from a walkthrough made me think that level might be a lot easier if you do.

For some reason, this conversation just reminded me of Planescape: Torment. Specifically, Fall-from-Grace, the succubus who runs the Brothel for Slaking Intellectual Lusts. That was a cool portrayal of something sexual.
I also fall into the camp where some of my favorite characters are nothing like me. I can't think of any games I've played where the character was a homosexual male (I'm a straight guy), so I can't think back to a game to see what my reaction to that particular difference was. I liked Captain Jack in Doctor Who, though...

I'm not saying that I'm an angel with little white feathery wings... Sorry - I see now that what I said could be read as a response to your post... but it wasn't. :) I was just saying my own impressions.

Hacking and slashing w/ friends can be fun, but alone, I find it a little repetitive. But I <3 hacking & slashing! :) I'll take the old "wait and see" approach on this one.
