Disciples 2: Turn 60ish. Dwarves constantly betraying me, although my main force is sort of *AWESOME* now with all of the units being fully classed-up. Took another city from the barbarians. There's a Greenskin city to the... south-ish which I WANT, but it's heavily defend by guys that can do about 140 damage each attack and I have no way of dealing with that.

This reminds me that I've got the Gold Edition of it somewhere. Maybe I'll install when I've got time. I've played it before, but didn't get far. The art design and the overall dark Slavic feel was awesome though.

Currently I'm playing Taiko no Tatsujin Portable. Fun and great for short bursts.

Finished Ridge Racer's basic tours and don't really have the strength to take on pro tours, so I'm done with the game for a while.

Also, resumed my quest in Final Fantasy 1 PSP. I just want to blaze through in order to see the ending, because I managed to get to the final dungeon in Final Fantasy Origins version but the save game disappeared. In my opinion, the Origins's version has much somber atmosphere, even kind of depressing. PSP version is more optimistic with it's polished sprites.

Every plot doesn't lend itself to a final dungeon. If the developer's intentions were to have a anticlimactic ending, who are you to say it was the wrong decision?

Most of the time final dungeons are nothing but a way for the developer to show off his bad dungeon design, put the frustrating and sadistic monsters, which should've been axed in the planning phase anyway, to a good use and in the worst possible case, use it as a way to fatigue or exhaust the whole party so they'd be all ready to die in the hands of final boss.

If you were lucky enough to choose the right dialogue (or cheated with an FAQ), you'd end up in a final dungeon, facing off with the being behind the mystery.

Lucky? The right dialogue choice was obvious.

Is it worth visiting Nanako in the hospital? Does it have an impact on the ending in any way?

Keep the soundtrack the same

Without upgrading the synth? Are you serious?

He seems to be one of the developers who is working hard to convince people that a game can be art.

Do games really have to be art?

Managed to get White Peace with Seljuk by... excommunicating my Steward for being a witch, which got my piety up high enough so that I could bargain with them. I gained about as many provinces as I lost in that war, but the ones I gained were more important cause they allowed me to ring the Caspian Sea, more or less, except for the south edge. Also, I took over the eastern branch of Azerbaijan, which is now situated in Lesbos for some reason.

Hungary keeps invading into Cuman territory, and me own Ryazan means I'm going to clash with Kievan Rus if they ever get their act together. Hungary's getting scary, though.

Good news is, I'm fairly close to Jerusalem, so if I decide to persue the Crusades more actively... I've got another 300 years of game left, though, so I plan on building up my infrastructure a bit. I'm going to need to be able to handle an army of 60k before I can seriously thing of taking the holy land, and I'm nowhere near that yet. Like, I can get an army of 30k assuming a grand mobilization goes perfectly. MAINTAINING that for a few years is another story entirely.

You're playing vanilla or Deus Vult?

And who that might be?

Could somebody tell me who has the Death arcana S. Link?

also i'm shocked that people find the p4 characters more relatable than the p3 ones. the p3 high school was closer to my own than yasogami high.

I'm with you on this one.

Actually, this game made me realize how much I love P3 and it's atmosphere. P4 is too...yellow and cheerful. Not to mention Kuma who annoys me to no end.

I'm still in the middle of game, so I'll save my final judgement for later.

Btw, when does the game end in-game? The date?

I'd be fine with a mere port if it got a decent translation.

This answer entails some spoilers.  I'll try to keep this as general as possible.
The dialogue is (marginally) modified for most s. links (there is I'm pretty sure one big exception just because of how it is handled, but I won't know for sure on that until I get to that point again in my replay), you are able to have essentially the character's final s.link scene reenacted on later days (though you get zero reward for these), and there is a final scene pretty late into the game that can be done depending on what character(s) you have romances with and hooks you up with a goodie that does not depend on the individual.

You can have several lovers?

Btw, what are the effects of making someone your girfriend? Do you have special events, dialogue? I made Chie my main's girlfriend, so I would like to know.
