Haha, I already bought two of them on Saturday.

I'm really excited for this, I absolutely love both 1 and 2. Among Thieves stands as the only game I've played for longer than 20 hours straight. I'm looking forward to doing the same with 3.

Seeing this also prompted me to try the multiplayer again. I'm surprised I didn't keep on playing this, it's so much fun.

Arkham City's trailer is all kinds of awesome:

This sounds really interesting. I would have looked forward to a new Tomb Raider regardless of a drastic change seeing as how I enjoyed Underworld and Guardian of Light.

This...is something. :P  The last time I was this awestruck by a game's strangeness was when I first played Katamari Damacy.  The game's actual mechanics are kinda shit, but I'm gonna at least attempt to endure it for a while, because I see all sorts of potential.

It took me a while to get into DP but I was hooked when the game finally clicked for me. The gameplay is boring but it's so worth it for the utterly ridiculous cut scenes.

I've been jumping around lately but I've mainly been playing Sly Collection, Majin, God of War GOS and Planescape Torment. This is my first time playing the Sly games and I absolutely love them.

Deadly Premonition: At first I didn't think the cut scenes would be able to carry the dull gameplay but I was wrong. This game is so hilarious that I start smiling the second I fire it up.

Ninja Gaiden 2: Decided to restart this from scratch since I stopped playing it over a year ago. The game is still fun but the camera is way worse than I remember it to be. That and projectiles from nowhere are just a nuisance.

Atelier Rorona: It's enjoyable. Pretty much what I expected from Gust's first outing on the PS3.

Wild Arms 5: I've only played it for a few hours but I like it. Good music, good gameplay but the story seems like it's going to be stupid. Pretty much your typical PS2 RPG. I just hope there's none of that adult child nonsense that was in every single conversation in 4.

P3P: I'm near the end of the game but I'm stopping. I've clocked in slightly above 250 hours on P3 across all 3 versions and I'm feeling a bit fed up with the game by now.

God of War GOS: It's good.

I didn't like the idea of automatically chosen targets either but the rules by which the game chooses them are pretty predictable so it isn't that much of a problem. It never feels like you're actually missing choices, it's just how the game is designed and it works well. I wouldn't really label it causal or kid friendly either, apparently the game gets pretty difficult and requires good knowledge and manipulation of mechanics.

Anyone else pick this up? I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. The artwork is charming, the music is good and the battle system is fun and fast paced thanks in part to the streamlining. I was a little apprehensive about the strict item restrictions, but I find managing my items to be another part of the game I enjoy.

I've recently been playing Enslaved, Castlevania LOS and SMT Strange Journey. I beat Enslaved last night and it was awesome, despite an abrupt ending. I'll probably go through and get all the tech orbs and masks that I missed. I'm at the seventh chapter in Castlevania LOS and it has been incredible so far. As for Strange Journey, I'm at the last dungeon. My opinion of the game lowered as I progressed through it, but overall it has been enjoyable.

I'm looking forward to this, despite how goofy Dante looks. I like Heavenly Sword and love Enslaved so I have confidence that Ninja Theory can pull off a decent game at the least.

Amazon had a 20 dollar credit offer a few weeks back for this game. Makes me sad that I waited until last week to pre-order.

I would pay the same amount I pay to play with myself.

It's good. Can't wait to get my hands on the full game.

A few words on the differences of the versions: http://www.siliconera.com/2010/08/26/platinum-games-promise-no-noticeable-differences-in-vanquish-on-ps3-and-360/

Since Sega isn't handling the port this time it's probably safe to assume that the differences will be minute.

I've recently completed Bioshock, Sakura Wars V and Nier. Nier went completely above and beyond what I was expecting it to be.
