With the increasing popularity of the Persona series in the states I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they did some sort of compilation of the the earlier games.

Fixed. From what I have seen, most of the fans introduced by P3 don't give a fuck about Shin Megami Tensei games outside of the Persona series or just don't know of their existence. So, I doubt we'll be seeing anything like that. The small reprints of Persona EP and Nocturne on Amazon are probably the closest thing we'll get to this.

Anyway, I guess any old game I feel nostalgic about is a prime candidate for a list of re-releases.

Watched both Eagle Eye and Miracle at St. Anna over the weekend. Both were pretty terrible. At least Eagle Eye was mildly entertaining whereas Miracle at St. Anna was just pure balls. That movie didn't know where to go at all with everything it tried to squeeze in and the ending was just the stupidest thing I've seen for a while.

Thank you, Parn. I was thinking about returning to FFXI when you reminded me about something. The huge fucking back log of games I have to finish. Starting an MMO again would not help with that.

Saw Indy 4 today and I'm awestruck by how bad it is. At the end of the movie, I honestly believe for a minute that a joke was being played on  me. The action sequences were satisfying enough, but not for me to warrant the movie at least the title of semi-entertaining. There was no authentic sense of archaeological adventure. I wanted the movie to dazzle with action sequences then put wonder in the viewers with mystical sites and such. But when it got to those sites everything was slow, dull and dreary and things were too caught up in nostalgia and CGI, though the latter was fine with me, the former wore thin when they referenced to older movies for the n-th time. I can't even remember the older movies that well and I knew when they were referencing to some. It was that obvious, and it got tedious. Some of the ending shots
Code:
such as the temples before they were turned into a fuckin.... UFO spaceship
were nice to look at. Though, there was a plus: it gave me the urge to play Uncharted.

Immense disappointment overall.

Hmmm, I might rev up my 75 war again, though I shouldn't since I got loads of games to play right now.

By the way, is the new expansion any good?

Man, I miss the launch days of FFXI, felt like a different game when I left it back a year ago or so.

R...Rambo 4. It was so ultra-violent that it almost seemed like a parody on violence. What a crappy movie, but a fun way to blow off an hour and a half.
