I played the demo on a friend's PS3 a few days ago and had a pretty good time with it. Of course, that was mostly due to the fact that it was buggy as all hell for me, which lead to a whole slew of lulz. In the hotel scene, the girl's character model kept freaking out and running toward the wall and back again over and over at random intervals. And considering the camera splits in two to show off different room angles, the one on the left was always empty because the girl kept spazzing out and running out of view. The best part, however, was when I handed her a tissue. She grabbed it, wiped her face, and then flew off toward the wall again, leaving the tissue floating above the bed as if a ghost were holding on to it.
Jayden's (?) was mostly bug free, but right as the demo was about to end, the game popped, the video cut out, and an ear-wrenching static howl started blaring out of the speakers. Woke up the whole house. =P
Demo was good, though. It'd totally be a buy for me if I had the system.

So yeah, it's pretty good. I'm not enjoying it as much as the first one for various reasons (menu-based overworld, crappy platforming, and the big one being that the bosses simply aren't fleshed out nearly as much as they were in NMH1), but it's still wicked weird, and tons of over-the-top fun. The 8-bit mini-games are just awesome.

It drops in less than a week. Who here's jazzed? Honestly, I think it's looking really, really hot. Suda has released his most recent dev diary video, and I couldn't be more pumped. A word of warning, though: There are a lot of clips with unseen (?) bosses and minor plot details that you might want to stay underwraps. I've made an effort to avoid spoiling myself (I wanted to see everything in-game, rather than the internet), so I feel a bit disheartened at what I was shown. At the same time, holy shit, it's a complete confirmation of this game's guarenteed awesomeness. Anyway, freaking stoked.

Played and beat Cave Story, which I never knew was a freeware game. It was really, really good. I'm baffled by the fact that there are multiple endings and sidequests that completely went over my head, so I'm sure I'll go back at some point or another and play through it again.
Also played and beat Kingdom Hearts 3583894/2 Days and/or Months. Game was okay, ending was awesome.

I bought it on eBay about six months ago, but the game locks up on me in a certain area every time I enter it, so I've never been able to play it past the four hour mark.
Shame, too, since that gameplay was killer.
