This is is supposedly the new MGS Main Theme:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZWY7E2KVMTI

It`s called Metal Gear Saga and is mostly a remix of the music track from MGS3 that plays before the final battle with Shagohod. The old MGS Main Theme(http://youtube.com/watch?v=ay517XhX9M8)is not present in MGS4 due to certain parts of it being a plagiarism.

I really don't think he had anything to do with that.

While I don`t know if Clover`s closure is his doing, I`m pretty sure Inafune did everything he could to antagonize Clover. And not just them. Reportedly, Inafune was the main reason for Yoshiki Okamoto leaving the company. Also, he was the one who pushed for the PS2 version of Resident Evil 4 practically forcing Mikami to resign.

While he wasn't involved (as far as I know), Zack & Wiki is a wonderful standout game from Capcom, so I can't really hate them just because of the incident with Clover.

Clover`s closure is just the tip of the iceberg though. A lot of talented staff have left Capcom over the years and Capcom did nothing to prevent it. There`s a relatively recent interview with Yoshiki Okamoto on Gamasutra in which he implies that a lot of people continue to leave them even now. And if the news of Street Fighter IV being developed by Dimps is anything to go by, I think it`s safe to say Okamoto is telling the truth. Capcom`s excellent 2D artists have also probably long left for the greener pastures of SNK and Arc System. What with Street Fighter II HD remake being done by Capcom`s US branch and looking ugly as sin(I think the first Fatal Fury had more frames of animation than this).

Lame they didn't include the original credits in the Wii version though.

Yeah, it`s by far the best staff roll I`ve ever seen and it was a great reward for beating the game. Every time I listen to that song, I feel like playing Okami again... but then I remember that it`s 70-hours long.

A future of not having to play uninspired games, I presume. I used to buy almost all of Capcom`s releases up until a certain point. But since Shinji Mikami, Hideki Kamiya, Atsushi Inaba and Yoshiki Okamoto all left Capcom(thanks to the commercially minded bastard Inafune), there`s nothing to look forward to anymore(for me at least). All Capcom makes now is Western oriented tripe like Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Bionic Commando and Resident Evil 5(co-op oriented single-player + Chris Redfield looking like a Gears of War character = no thanks).

Platinum Games is the new Capcom for me. It consists of former Capcom staff(the ones I mentioned above sans Okamoto) and their games(especially Bayonetta and Mad World) look a lot more interesting to me than anything from Capcom. I follow developers, not companies.

Anyway, that`s all a bit too off-topic. And that`s just my opinion anyway. I don`t see why you had to comment on it.

Alright, now you've gone into ass kiss 'they can do no wrong' territory. This is a game console, not a PC. Installs should be optional, not mandatory, especially since part of what I like about consoles is that I can just stick in a game whenever and play it.

It`s annoying when mandatory installs are used in the run-of-the-mill multiplatform garbage from Capcom, Ubisoft and EA(though I don`t play games by these companies). But it`s Kojima Productions we are talking about here. I doubt they`d force an install on us just because they suck at optimizng their games. There`s probably a good reason for MGS4 requiring an installation.

Oh, and since this hasn`t been posted yet, here`s five different TV ads for MGS4:

Artsy to the max! Very reminiscent of the European "Das ist Leben" PS3 commercials.

This is the kind of game I don`t need to read reviews on to know how it will turn out. I`d known MGS4 would be 10/10 material before it was even announced. It`s Hideo Kojima after all. All the games he has directed so far(Snatcher, Policenauts, MGS 1-3) have been amazing.

Also, good to know that it requires an HDD install. After all, that`s the whole point of having an HDD in every PS3 - so that developers could use this feature without being afraid that there are some people with HDD-less PS3(this is essentially the main issue with Xbox 360). Had every PS2 had an HDD, more games would have used mandatory installs than just Final Fantasy XI.

Both Microsoft and Sony have said they will leave region locking up to publishers. It means that some games are still locked into certain regions, while others aren't. It leads to some weird situations though. Condemned 2 for example, is locked on the PS3, yet it’s region free on the 360, whilst GTA4 is locked on the 360, but region free on the PS3.

Region-locking on the PS3 isn`t up to publishers. It`s Sony`s policy that all PS3 games be region-free, hence why there haven`t been any region-locked PS3 games yet(and no, Condemned 2 isn`t region-locked either; I have a PAL version of it and it runs on my Japanese PS3 without any problems). Xbox 360 is a whole different matter though. Practically every single game for this thing is region-locked.

On the topic of Tears to Tiara... I`ll definitely import it if it doesn`t get an Enslish release. I enjoyed Utawarerumono for PC and this looks like even more fun.

Oh, and yay for my first post here.
