don't know if this has been posted, but it would be interesting how they deal with capacity on dvd Square Enix may have bundled the Final Fantasy XIII demo with Advent Children Complete for reasons other than milking money out of its fanbase. According to an analysis by Japanese site Pocket News, the Final Fantasy XIII demo takes as much as 5.09GB of space on the Blu-ray disc.
That's an astronomical figure for a demo, isn't it? Downloading a file of that size would take quite a bit of time and would be rather costly for Square Enix, considering publishers have to pay for bandwidth costs on the PlayStation Network. If just an hour of gameplay takes up that much space, how large will the final game be? Looks like Final Fantasy XIII will make full use of that 50GB Blu-ray disc.
What does this mean for the Xbox 360 version? We're certain a large amount of data can be shaved off by utilizing compression (there's a ton of CG, don't forget!), but tackling Final Fantasy XIII's size will nonetheless be an interesting challenge for the Xbox 360 development team. http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/04/16/report-final-fantasy-xiii-demo-over-5gb-in-size/

6-7 hours seems to be average for games these days
but this game is based on repetition, getting faster times and uploading - i think gamers are looking at this on a typical FPS perception, but i can see value in getting obsessive compulsive over the tiniest millisecond to beat your best times
(also, i'm probably the few who liked assassin's creed's open world parkour feel... i just ran around the the rooftops for hours before playing the game)

Helped me a lot to improve my english, after all, if wanted to finish the game i had to understand what the NPCs were telling me to do.
hahah, i'd say i'm not alone with this one: but i'd say playing RPGs (and other games) i Japanese helped me learn the language (if only by a little, but i'd say it helped)

making me think here Dice - i don't do that too well... Honorable mention to Shadow Hearts (let's face it, it didn't score all that well, regardless of how many of us liked it) Yuri and his sexual innuendos towards Alice At the staring village of cannibals, he yells out "Nobody is going to eat her but me!" refering to Alice... lawl
