I'm so over the glitched trophies this is getting ridiculous. Not only did my killing all 10 dragons trophy not pop, but my trophy for getting 10 agents hasn't popped and I have about 15. This is getting so dumb.

IF you didn't get the 10 dragons trophy, you'll need to reload a save game before your last dragon kill and kill it again. You should get the trophy then.

I will do that after I beat the game. My last save before I killed all the dragons was 50 hours of gameplay ago...

Maybe it only applies to those playing on Extreme difficulty?

I don't think so. I've done some research and I guess it doesn't pop for some people unless they get like 15 agents. I guess I will have to get some more and see if it pops for me. The dragon one the only thing you can do is restart and kill another dragon because for some reason 1 of the 10 doesn't count or reload an earlier save and kill the same dragon again.

Up to 104 hours in Dragon Age Inquisition. I have 42/51 trophies, but two of mine are glitched and did not pop (kill 10 dragons and obtain 10 agents) so I'm going to have to do another playthrough to get the platinum. It's just really annoying that there's so many glitched trophies (2 others I have can be glitched and not pop as well, I guess getting 2/4 is alright but still ridiculous). I've almost finished the story (I'm on the final mission), but trying to complete all my inner circle quests before then. Other than the glitched trophies I have really loved this game.

Went through Emprise du Lion and finished off the last three dragons (making 10/10) and did not get the trophy for slaying all ten dragons because it is apparently glitched on every system. One of the dragons doesn't raise the counter so it says I've only killed 9 for the trophy, but my journal says I killed all ten. Come on Bioware...
If you have a save that is prior to killing any dragon load it up and kill a dragon again and the trophy should pop. Apparently the description is wrong and it is kill 10 dragons across playthroughs and not in a single playthrough.

Yeah I read that somewhere too. I'll do that sometime this week.

hawke didn't feel tacked on at all and i thought his involvement was fine

Yeah I didn't think Hawke was tacked on at all either. His involvement was perfectly reasonable as was his disappearance given what happened at the end of Dragon Age 2 and how Cassandra was investigating how it happened and who to blame.

Beat the game in 20 hours!? Wha? I'm at 20 hours, and I just got Dorian! This Skyhold place everyone keeps talking about is but a whisp of a dream for me. I've been mixing up side quests with story quests.
There's so much to do, and I really want to get the most out of it. I can see this taking me over a 100 hours, and I'm ok with that.

Skyhold is really awesome. You probably aren't too far off. I got to it about 30 hours in and I was doing mad side quests haha. This game is probably going to take me over 120 or so lol. I'm at 78 hours right now. Just killed my seventh dragon. Only three more!

Err, just so you guys know, you don't miss out on anything by rushing the main story. You can continue playing the game after beating the main quests just like in Skyrim. There are no side quests that you can miss. Just like in Skyrim, I tend to only complete side quests on my way to completing main story and faction quests. You can do the same with DA: I.

I feel like the game would be quite a choir to play if I focused on completing all the side quest in an area before moving on. All you'll do is over level yourself. I find it best just to hop between areas to keep exploration fresh. Feel free to skip a lot of those boring fetch quests, you don't have to actually do them. They are like the radiant quests from Skyrim, not necessary at all.

@Blace

Wow, I hope you went threw the main quests at least enough to get your extra companions. I really hope you didn't spend 75 hours with only Cass, Varric, and Solas. Have you not even reached Skyhold? Did you spend 75 hours without your specializations? God, I hope not. As I said, there are no miss-able quests and you can keep playing after you beat the main story.

Oh hell no lol. I've had Skyhold unlocked forever. I have it fully upgraded and everything. I was just going through every area and mapping it out in addition to doing all the side quests. I realize you can't technically miss any side quests, but if you just rush through the story in 20 hours like Alisha did then you missed out on alot of side content that fleshes out the characters and lore in addition to (most likely) some pretty awesome gear. I have played for 75 hours, but I've killed 6/10 dragons. I have my specialization too. I'm level 21.

Does the game let you know when you're at a point of no  return  and are going to lose access to side quests?

No, but it does mark exactly which ones are main story. I've been going out of my way to do every sidequest before going through the main story because you will miss alot if you just rush through the main story. This is why I have 75 hours and I'm not very far in the story really. I just started doing story quests tonight because I ran out of side quests.

finished the game. really disapointed with the amount of actual story content. also the final battle is a joke.

I'm curious, how long did you play for?

I'm debating turning my Chrono Cross postings into one of these play journal threadlogs.

why the fuck havent you, like 20 people have randomly responded here and technically to your sequel topic.  GET ON IT BOY.

Please do it! Your post made me want to listen to the soundtrack at work (which I did) and then that made me want to replay the game obviously because it is amazing. I don't have time for that, so I need to do it through you haha.

Haha I don't really like Dorian. Way too self-centered for me. I engaged in like an hour conversation about his past though and he certainly is an intriguing character and very insightful about the Tevinter Imperium.

I'm really loving this share ability on the PS4.

Me too! It's awesome. I've been able to connect with other people and look at their gear and such. I also let people connect to mine so they could look at my gear or look at my map to see if they are missing something. It's really neat.

Edit: Just realized you may be talking about share *play*, but regardless it is still cool! haha

Man I love this game. Skyhold is a great base to explore and chat with people.

I don't have a problem with the load times on PS4. The main bootup is about a minute and fast travel within zones is speedy.

I love Skyhold too, but it overwhelmed me at first. Could not figure out where everything was that I needed (like the creature research station for example). As for this not having relevant quests, I find that blasphemous. I've played for 65 hours and only got as far in the story as to
Code:
Meet Hawke and have him tell me we need to find the Grey Wardens.
and the quests that I have done outside the main story have all added significant lore or even interesting details to the main story. That's why I keep doing them. if it was just infinite fetch quests or kill this monster I would get bored and stop, but that is not the case.
