Finished the Left Behind DLC in The Last of Us Remastered. It was solid, but obviously not as good as the main game. It's short at about 2 hours and there really isn't a whole lot of gameplay until the final chapter when you finally get to kill things. Final scenes are definitely effective and set up the main game nicely. Just have a few more multi-player trophies to do and then I am going to start Tales of Xillia 2, which I got as an early bday present today from my fiance. I want to beat the game on survival, but having already played through it twice in the past two weeks, I'm going to hold off until later so I don't get burnt out.

Started playing the online multi-player for The Last of Us Remastered just to try it. Wasn't expecting much because I didn't really like the multi-player in the Uncharted games, but this is amazing! All three modes are tons of fun. I ended up playing it for like 4 hours straight and didn't realize it was like 1 in the morning lol. I have almost every trophy for the mult-player already except for finishing the Hunter or Firefly Journey's. Color me surprised.

Captain Phillips - Great movie! As always with movies like this I wonder what is true, and what has been changed for the movie. Regardless, it was intense as hell, and Tom hanks was fantastic as always. Even had me tearing up in the end. he truly is one of our greatest actors.

The Grey - Why did I watch this? It was on a list of top 100 Netflix movies to see. I want my 2 hours back. It wasn't horrible, but it was totally predictable. And what's up with the giant man-eating direwolves? Alaska getting a bad rap here. It DID have more character and "meaning" than you would expect out of a movie like this. I'll give it that.

That final scene with Tom Hanks in Captain Phillips almost had me tearing up too. I've heard the real Captain Phillips is a dick and nothing like the character in the movie, which is interesting.

Finished up my New Game Plus on The Last of Us Remastered last night. Got every collectible, but the game glitched and didn't register one of my optional conversations so I finished the game with 36/37 which really pisses me off because I have no idea which conversation I missed and it will be impossible to figure out without playing through the game a third time. I was also only 30 upgrade parts away from maxing out every weapon and the only one that isn't is the El Diablo which is towards the end of the game... ugh. So frustrating. I really love this game though. First game I've replayed right after beating it in years. I'll try to figure out which conversation I missed and move on to Left Behind next.

I will always stand by that The Island was underrated, but other than that I haven't really liked any Michael Bay films. Pain & Gain had its moments, but fell apart after awhile.

Finished up The Last of Us Remastered. Took me 15 hours. That ending I was not expecting. It isn't satisfying, but it fits the game so perfectly. One of my new favorites. I think I'm going to start a New Game + now and get all the collectibles and whatnot. I love the world and just exploring it.

Colts looked really good against the Jets in their first preseason game until the third stringers got put in after the first half. Luck and TY shredded the Jets on the first drive for like 40 yards on a couple catches. They could not cover him. Hakeem Nicks had a nice third down catch on 3rd and 11 to keep the drive going too. Unfortunately, our starting center went down at the goal line. I'm so sick of the injuries. The Colts seriously need a new staff for conditioning and whatnot. Already 4 starters down and 3 of them for the year and plenty of players nicked up. I feel like no other team even comes close to the injuries we have sustained already. Our defense looked really good with the first and second string, although the Jets are a terrible offensive team so I don't know what to make of it. Vick looked better than Geno. They should just start him and get it over with. He gives them a better chance of winning easy.

The episode where the girls were having a heated debate over a Thor comic was funny?

And, as far as contemporary sitcoms go, I still recommend The Middle.  I talked about it some in a previous post.

The Middle is a solid comedy I've seen episodes here and there, but it can be juvenile and stupid at times. Still pretty funny though.

You know I have never met a person in my life who hated Big Bang Theory until I stumbled upon this thread. All of my nerd friends and I love that show and watch it every week and my parents & fiance love it too. I find that interesting. It's won a bunch of Emmy's too which usually is a good thing.

Just skip this one and wait for the Ultra HD arcade EX plus edition.
Seriously, Its hardly a surprise though, and given how some of the HD remastered version seem to be handled these days, you might be better off with the port anyway.

This can potentially be the most important release for fans of classic RE and get those sale numbers on par with all the bitching and moaning that has been going on since the release of RE5 back in 2009.

I'm personally just happy this is happening since I thought it wasn't possible anymore to see REmake on multiple platforms and much less PC.

Also, about the screenshots that were released check some of the quick comparisons fans had made already here and also here.

Those comparisons look fantastic. I beat that game on GC and figured this wouldn't look much better, but it definitely does. Now I'm excited to play through that game again.

<Snip>

The Jags added some decent players in the off season, so they shouldn't be AS easy as last year. They will still be pretty easy I think, but not the blow off team they were ;-)

Sherman is an ass. I like him. He is a great player and an asset to the team on defense. Doesn't change him being an ass.

Yeah, it's the Colts secondary that I am thinking will be an issue. They don't have the depth of some teams *cough*Seahawks*cough* ;-)

I fully expect the Jags to be the worst team in the division despite a decent roster this year just because of their QB situation. Texans are the team the Colts could lose to. That defense is stellar and Fitzpatrick can get on hot streaks (and then go cold for 3 games). I just hope those cold games are against us lol.

Fitzpatrick will fizzle out this season. There will be no hot streaks. Just shitty shitty play. Don't discount the influence of Red Bryant in the Jags locker room. Yes, their QB situation is shitty, but it doesn't always take a good offense to win games. I will not be surprised if they beat the Titans though. Something about it is making me want to wager on the Jags ;-)

Titans are solid all around and if Locker stays for the whole season for once then I could see them winning 8-9 games. I think they are probably the second best team in the division. They are solid at every position really.

6 hours into The Last of Us Remastered now. Things have really picked up. I'm loving having to go searching for materials and crafting things. Just love it. Makes me feel like I have control over what weapons I want to use and how to use them. NOW I see why people love this game. I still hate the clickers. Automatic death is annoying.

SO much hate for the Big Bang Theory in this thread holy shit I did not expect that. I love the show and have seen every season. Modern Family also gets me. Those are the only 2 comedy shows I have ever liked. I usually hate all comedy shows.

As a Colts fan, I'm super excited for this season. Andrew Luck just keeps getting better. Reggie Wayne, my favorite player of all time, is coming back from a major injury and everyone outside of Indiana thinks he is done (FYI reports from the media say he looks amazing in drills, but he won't be playing their first preseason game on Thursday just as a precaution). Trent Richardson gets a chance to redeem himself, or prove all the doubters wrong. I expect him to be somewhere in the middle. Same with Hakeem Nicks, which was a good pickup. Also, everyone will continue learning TY Hilton's name. Such a stud WR. I'm sure as a Seahawks fan you remember the game between the Colts and Seahawks last year. It was great, but watching Hilton burn Sherman and Thomas for a huge TD was amazing. Hopefully our defense can keep up with the progress our offense has been making. Adding back in Dwayne Allen at TE is going to be nice too. I can't wait for the season to start! So many things I'm looking forward to seeing. Even our rookie WR Donte Moncrief has been massively impressing the media in camp and will probably be our kick returner for the preseason opener.

Yeah, sad. It was the one TD thrown in Richard Shermans direction last season. He didn't allow any others.

The Colts have a serious shot to make it to the Superbowl, even with the Neanderthal looking QB that is Luck ;-)

THe weak link in the Colts is going to be the defense. i don't think they did enough to shore it up in the off season. They added a couple players, but I am not sure they did enough. Only time will tell. It is going to be a good season. ^_^

Believe me, every Colts fan on Twitter makes sure Sherman remembers he got burned by TY when he posts stats and shit claiming to be the best (not refuting, but it does get annoying. Let your play do the talking). I like the additions of Arthur Jones and D'Qwell Jackson to our front 7, but the secondary could be real shaky this year (especially if someone gets injured, the drop off from first to second string is noticable). I don't really like the safeties, but they can always improve. I expect the Colts to push for a top seed in the AFC this year regardless with their schedule. We get to play the Titans, Texans, and Jags twice for crying out loud lol.
