I'm already totally addicted to Inquisition. It's just so fun to play. I've played about 10 hours already, which is a lot for me in a weeks time. This is the perfect game for a gardener heading into Winter "Can't play in my garden" Depression. I make light of it, but I seriously do get a form of seasonal affective disorder. Distractions are incredibly important. A game like this, with so much to do, is perfect.

I'm totally addicted to it as well. I usually never stay up past 11-12 at night and I've been consistently staying up till 2-3 not realizing it because I'm having so much fun. I sure do feel tired the next day though haha. I've played for 40 hours already.

Is there a safe chest to store shit instead of carrying it around?

I found a lot of gear that's higher lever than me and I'm sick of lugging it around until I can use it.

To Yoda, unfortunately there's no chest for or storage place for items.  It's one of those massive oversights that seems odd and will probably come with a patch.  I can't believe they missed something like that.

I was wondering the same thing. This is a HUGE oversight. I'd like to dump all this crap somewhere. Hopefully it will be added in DLC. For FREE.

This is really my only complaint so far too (other than maybe the jumping lol). I've played for almost 40 hours and have a few things I would love to dump, but my inventory never gets completely full so it isn't game breaking by any means. I do a good job of selling things off I don't need.

I've played DA:I for about 32 hours so far and I'm loving it. So much to do and explore that I have barely even touched the main story at all. I've completed almost everything to do in the Hinterlands, Fallow Mire, Forbidden Oasis (except the last door for the shards because I need more), and the Storm Coast. I'm out of stuff to do now so I guess I'll start doing the story. This is definitely my favorite of the series. Good combination of the first two games with a little bit of Elder Scrolls feel.

Long time no see everyone! Took a little break, but I'm back in full swing again. Took me awhile to find this because things were changed since I was last on here haha. Finally finished up Tales of Xillia 2 after 2 1/2 months of playing it off an on for 58 hours. Overall I enjoyed it, but I think the original is a little bit better. They completely used the same environments and towns with only a small segment (Drellin) being new. I hated the debt system, but I put up with it because I liked the characters and story. I got the bad, good, and neutral ending. I think the neutral ending was probably my favorite, but the good one was solid too. The bad one was... well just terrible lol. On to Dragon Age starting tomorrow! Can't wait!

New Trailer

Also, Nomura has officially stepped down as director and Tabata is taking over.

It definitely looks more like a real game in this trailer.  There's less of the crazy flying around stuff we say before...which is probably for the best.  It looked cool but realistically I never really understood how you were supposed to control it.  This looks like an action RPG.  Less revolutionary, sure, but also easier to see how it will actually play.

I find it funny that the combat in this looks like Dragon Age 2, a game people queefed out about endlessly, but yet for FF to depart from strategic combat it's hailed as streamlining and fun. In Dragon Age people decree that it's dumbing down and appealing to a COD mindset.

Not saying you said this, specifically, just quoting for the trailer.

Compared to Dragon Age Origins, I did feel like Dragon Age 2 was dumbed down a little... BUT it was still fun to me. We'll see what they do with FFXV, but I'm digging the more action oriented approach personally.

Beat Infamous First Light last night. Currently debating on whether or not I want to platinum it. I mean I do want the platinum as that woul be my 49th platinum meaning when I platinum Arno Surge, that will be my 50th. But then I'll have to master the arenas, and I just don't know if I care enough for that. I probably should just try and get some more power upgrades and see if they help make the arenas any easier. >.>

Mastering the arena's in First Light was the best part! I had a blast doing it. It seems daunting at first, but it really isn't once you get the hang of things.

Been playing some Tales of Xillia 2. Not much gaming time with school starting back up. Only been able to play 4 hours in the past week or so. It's about the same as the first, although I miss the orb leveling system. Going back to traditional leveling is kind of boring. I also don't really like that Ludger barely speaks. No personality at all. I know they are trying to make you decide the choices for him with the new system, but it kind of zaps the character development that Tales is good at. Otherwise though, still fun. Story hasn't done a whole lot yet.

Finished up Uncharted Golden Abyss. It ended up not being as bad as my initial impressions once they abandoned the awful gimmicks halfway through and it started feeling more like a real Uncharted game. It also helped that Sully joined. Overall, it was an ok game, but nothing special like the first three. I'm glad I got it on sale for 18 bucks rather than paying full price for it. Not worth it.

I also bought inFamous First Light and finished it today. Really enjoyed it. I think it has more than enough game time to justify the 15 bucks. The battle arena has been tons of fun for me. I've spent hours just unlocking trophies. Only have like 7 more to go for another platinum. If you liked Second Son, definitely buy it! I actually think the combat is even more satisfying in this than it was in the last game. The city is only half Second Son, but you don't really notice. Story nicely fills in a prequel story leading up to the beginning of Second Son too.

Edit: I'm not sure why this double posted when I only clicked post once. Sorry guys.

I've managed to get every multi-player trophy for The Last of Us Remastered except finishing the Hunter and Firefly journeys. That probably won't happen for a long time if ever because that's a ton of matches and I want to move on to other games, more specifically Tales of Xilia 2 which has been sitting on my shelf all week. I did play a bunch of Uncharted: Golden Abyss this weekend after getting it for 20 bucks at Best Buy a couple of weeks ago. I loved the other three games, but this one is seriously testing me. I hate all the gimmicky controls they have added and the shooting and moving is not nearly as smooth as the others. Obviously there's restraints because of the hardware, but they did not do a good job transitioning from console to handheld like they did with the God of War series. I'm pretty disappointed. At chapter 14 so far. Even the crap like taking pictures and solving puzzles is just not fun. I'll finish this quickly and never touch it again.

So....yeah...Bortles....discuss.

He should be starting, end of story. You can only improve from playing and he already looks good. They will waste a year of his development in my opinion if they go with Henne instead. They aren't going to be a playoff team so if it costs them a game or two with a rookie mistake it will be worth it in the long run. I say this as a Colts fan too. The division needs to get better and I think the Jags are pointing up more than the other two teams in the division from where they were a year ago.

Finished the Left Behind DLC in The Last of Us Remastered. It was solid, but obviously not as good as the main game. It's short at about 2 hours and there really isn't a whole lot of gameplay until the final chapter when you finally get to kill things. Final scenes are definitely effective and set up the main game nicely. Just have a few more multi-player trophies to do and then I am going to start Tales of Xillia 2, which I got as an early bday present today from my fiance. I want to beat the game on survival, but having already played through it twice in the past two weeks, I'm going to hold off until later so I don't get burnt out.

Started playing the online multi-player for The Last of Us Remastered just to try it. Wasn't expecting much because I didn't really like the multi-player in the Uncharted games, but this is amazing! All three modes are tons of fun. I ended up playing it for like 4 hours straight and didn't realize it was like 1 in the morning lol. I have almost every trophy for the mult-player already except for finishing the Hunter or Firefly Journey's. Color me surprised.

Captain Phillips - Great movie! As always with movies like this I wonder what is true, and what has been changed for the movie. Regardless, it was intense as hell, and Tom hanks was fantastic as always. Even had me tearing up in the end. he truly is one of our greatest actors.

The Grey - Why did I watch this? It was on a list of top 100 Netflix movies to see. I want my 2 hours back. It wasn't horrible, but it was totally predictable. And what's up with the giant man-eating direwolves? Alaska getting a bad rap here. It DID have more character and "meaning" than you would expect out of a movie like this. I'll give it that.

That final scene with Tom Hanks in Captain Phillips almost had me tearing up too. I've heard the real Captain Phillips is a dick and nothing like the character in the movie, which is interesting.

Finished up my New Game Plus on The Last of Us Remastered last night. Got every collectible, but the game glitched and didn't register one of my optional conversations so I finished the game with 36/37 which really pisses me off because I have no idea which conversation I missed and it will be impossible to figure out without playing through the game a third time. I was also only 30 upgrade parts away from maxing out every weapon and the only one that isn't is the El Diablo which is towards the end of the game... ugh. So frustrating. I really love this game though. First game I've replayed right after beating it in years. I'll try to figure out which conversation I missed and move on to Left Behind next.
