I promised to post a pic of my son when he was born so here he is, almost 2 months old now: Edit: pic wasn't appearing for some reason. Congratulations and cute kid. When I have a kid, for damn sure I'm not posting his pics on a forum though. I wasn't going to, actually, but everyone here was so nice when I announced that he was born that I decided to post it. I'm not the first either. The plan was always to delete it after everyone saw it though.

You should go Tomara. You will regret it if you don't. I'm sure you will have a great time. I don't know if he will get the wrong idea if you accept his invitation but you guys seem to be good friends and if he does like you, just having your company will be good enough.

what difficulty are you playing?
Normal. Why? Just asking. You usually seem to play shit on hard and this game seems balanced enough on normal. I usually play normal on my first playthrough, then go for hard. You're right though, the game is easy normal. I'm surprised they only used the racing part of the game for MP, the gunplay is so good, it would've made for a great online shooter.

How many weapons are there? I was looking in the manual and was sad to see only pistol, assault rifel, and shotgun.
There are a lot, you just need to progress more.
The feeling of the weapons and how they affect the enemies is great though. But a lot has to be said for the way they move. After playing MW3 it's refreshing to fight the baddies in Rage. I love the way they hop all over, try for different cover, and even swing off the ceiling and shit.
Yeah I absolutely love that.

Finally picked this up yesterday! My internet connection isn't working with my consoles lately, so I can't DL whatever this patch is. I've played through the first 5 areas(chapters?) and don't see any problems so far with aiming or anything. God DAMN, this game is gorgeous! Just standing on the roof of a building and admiring the skyline at night is breathtaking. My wife walked by while I was playing and commented that it didn't even look like a game. I love how they have kept the same title theme for all 3 games. I LOVE it, and listen to it often. Gets me revved to play the game. I like how were getting some much-needed backstory on Nate and Sully. Not happy to see Chloe back, as I didn't like her last game.
Find a way to download the patch man, you will feel the difference, besides, the game looks better with motion blur. As for the graphics, you ain't seen nothing yet. Oh and shut up, Chloe is great.

Picked it up from the bargain bin and though I still have a long way to go (campaign is supposed to be 15-20 hours depending on sidequests) it's definitely the best FPS of the year for me. It's a shame the graphics are so inconsistent, when you're in the wasteland the textures on the rock formations are absolutely incredible and you can definitely why Carmack was so excited, but in interiors low res textures are everywhere. Love the art style and the atmosphere. Like I said above the gunplay is fantastic, weapons and enemy reactions to your shots feel great.
