Beat The Legend of Legacy about eight hours shy of a hundred. Didn't really fully grasp the mechanisms and a certain trick that helped me in the absolute final boss (which involved using skills that nullify damage and allow character counterattacks), but I don't regret my experience.

Finished the android plot arc (which somewhat rips off Terminator) of Dragon Ball Z and am watching Cowboy Bebop. Sort of reminded of Firefly.

I beat Adventures of Mana and was overall impressed by the game.

Dark Souls - Kind of pissed at the game again since I've gotten cursed twice now by those fucking basilisks in the Depths, and had to trudge way the fuck across the seamless dungeon just to buy a cure. I'll be even more pissed if I lose the thousands of souls I accumulated before dying by those assholes.

Diablo III (PS4) - Near the end of Act III. Haven't had any major issues.

Dragon Quest VI (iOS) - Died once, but still enjoying it thus far.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - I'm enjoying it, but I somewhat wish it would end sooner. Just reached the end of Chapter 5.

The Legend of Legacy - Still grinding for the final boss. I may give the fight another chance in the near future.

I actually think SO4's voice acting, while not perfect, was better than 3's, which had gems like:

Blade...of Fury!
What do you think you're DOING?

Glad you could turn off voices in battle. Giving monsters voices = worst idea ever. Farleen was annoying too.

I went through the Divergent trilogy and collection Four in anticipation of the forthcoming film, and while I thought the first book was decent, I got sort of lost in the second and third ones, and partway through the collection. I even looked for a flying cube house on fire in Insurgent, but just didn't see it. One case in which I actually sort of prefer the movies.

I also read a book called The Green Ember and its prequel The Black Star of Kingston by S.D. Smith, which are intriguing tales of anthropomorphic rabbits with political overtones, although it sort of inherits the specism of the Redwall series in that animals like hawks and wolves are inherently bad.

Next I'll tackle the Outlander books again in anticipation of the show's return.

Watched One Punch Man and was impressed. Now back to Dragon Ball Z and the Android plot arc.

I just found out something about Dark Souls I completely overlooked: you can lock onto enemies and move sideways while doing so. I would have never realized this had I not watched a video for help with the boss fight against the gargoyles. Hell, I didn't know this when I played its spiritual predecessor Demon's Souls. This completely changes the gameplay for me. I am really, really sorry I was a complete dick about this game, but since PS3 games tend not to come with instructions, and I didn't see this mentioned anywhere in the game and its predecessor, I think that's a legitimate criticism. If I end up actually liking Dark Souls, I may have to rebuy and go through Demon's Souls again. Wow, just, wow.

Oy, where to begin...

Adventures of Mana - I'm an hour in but enjoying it thus far and have beaten one boss and am at the vampire's mansion.

Dark Souls - I seriously want to fucking shove atomic bombs up the fucking asses of the fucking Japs who produced this fucking overrated pile of horseshit. The dumbass who thought it'd be cute to have the game insult the player's intelligence when they die needs to have his fucking head chopped off. I'm fucking sick of fantards saying that pieces of shit like this are "rewarding" when they have virtually nonexistent awesome storyline that's actually a reward for triumphing over tough bosses, and it's not challenging in a good way, but a fucking cheap way, for instance, by making it fucking difficult to heal in the middle of battle. And no pause button? Whoever decided that needs to have their fucking game development degree fucking revoked. It fucking sickens me that fantards constantly gush over shit like this instead of actually helping those having a difficult time enjoying it actually appreciate it more. Talk about sucking phantom dick.

Diablo III - Late in Act II, still having an enjoyable time.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - I'm in Chapter 4, and I'm still having a good time.

The Legend of Legacy - I finally beat the boss of the Bogsaur Marshes, but I actually don't think I had to do so since I found another dungeon at the end of one that I opened up by getting a certain item.

Hey, lay the fuck off of Sword of Truth, assholes. For your information, I found the SellAMillion to be an unreadable pile of horseshit.

Taking a break from the Sorcerer's Ring and Sword of Truth books to read the Divergent trilogy plus the collection Four.

Finished Around the World with Willy Fog, and am now in the Garlic Jr. plot arc of Dragon Ball Z. Toriyama can definitely put together some truly epic battles.

Wouldn't it be a lot less tedious and more resourceful for the developers to do another game set in the same universe with game mechanisms built upon rather than replaced entirely?

I'm at the kindle point in the Undead Burg in Dark Souls. Is it really fucking necessary for the game to say YOU DIED when you do so? Durr.

On Act II in Diablo III, having a good time.

Been grinding for tens of hours in The Legend of Legacy since the boss of the swamps rapes me.

I'm in Chapter 3 in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel. Love how all battle animations are skippable.

I remember Rocky and Bullwinkle and Ren and Stimpy Gameboy games essentially being the same level-wise save for the different characters.

Finished Sherlock Hound and the Frieza plot arc of Dragon Ball Z, and am breaking from DBZ again to watch the first series of Around the World with Willy Fog.
