If more of it is accessible in the remake.

My PC was fortunately powerful enough to play Bastion, and I'm definitely content in my playthrough.

Started watching The Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix. Very...sexist.

The staffers of RPGamer for some reason in their herd mentality believe Seasons to be superior to Ages, but I'm definitely in the camp that prefers Ages.

A series I like, so I look forward to it.

So... do I need to play the first one before I can play this one?
I think these games have nothing to do with one another plot-wise, so you probably won't miss anything by not playing the first.

Not a big fan of SaGa but I did like the WSC remake of the first game and the fan-translated DS remake of the second, though the latter is a little grindy towards the end.

In FFX-HD PS4 I'm at the end of the Moonflow before riding ze shoopuf (heh), but will go back to see if I can't still challenge that summoner whom I first challenged on the Highroad.

I was going to start Mass Effect 2, but I can only get past the company logos, with an endless load time preventing me from playing the game proper.

Thus, I started instead on The Legend of Legacy, where I've completely mapped the Forest Ruins and will do the same for the other forest dungeon I have access to. I started as the frog, and the challenge seems to be tough but fair thus far.

Finished reading all the canon adult Star Wars books. Tarkin was probably my favorite.

Next I'll go through the Mortal Instruments and Shannara books in prep for their respective shows next month.

I finished a few days ago and was generally impressed, although I didn't like looking at a guide to make it through some of the endgame puzzles (though I didn't need a guide for the bosses, which as I've said were largely a matter of having the right status-preventing accessories). It had also been a while since I played the first game so some plot elements were lost to me. Still, a good sequel.

Being able to get a Game Over after a final boss definitely sucks. I'd much prefer a full-length alternate ending if you fail to avert said situation.

Finished watching the first season of Jessica Jones on Netflix. My mom mistook it for a soap opera, and that somewhat sums up my feelings on the series, which is very drama-heavy, and I ended up half-watching it.

Next I'm watching The Legend of Korra, having much enjoyed its prequel series Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I'm a virgin to the series, so I can't say.

Saw the laughing scene in FFX HD Remaster. It's far more an issue, in my opinion, with the writing rather than the acting. You could hire someone like Patrick Stewart or James Earl Jones to voice the scene, and it still wouldn't have sounded any better. Were I in charge of localization, I'd have probably just cut the scene out entirely, despite protests from rabid fanboys.

So I saw an episode of Star Wars Rebels a few weeks back that has pretty much the same plot hole present in The Empire Strikes Back and The Phantom Menace where the group faces the dilemma of getting past an enemy blockade, although said blockade only exists in one dimension near the planet they're going to or escaping from, yet in space you have infinite freaking directions to go, supposedly. I swear, the writers of the franchise have no sense of dimension...
