1  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Shining Force 3 sucks balls on: October 21, 2010, 09:36:17 PM
This game has the shittiest graphics I have ever seen in my life, and probably is the worst game ever made.

Had to say that yourself because nobody else agreed with you? Reminds me of a comedian who has to laugh at his own jokes. Weak sauce.

Do any of you people even play games anymore, or has your blind hatred driven you to do nothing but say the same tired shit over and over again regarding this game? Oh, yeah, I guess it would, since none of you have played it to know what content it even has. I guess we should go back to talk about soon forthcoming games like Mass Effect 2, because it's going to be SO AMAZING AND GREAT and then a week after launch nobody cared anymore.

You guys have shitty taste in games.

Oops looks like Tenchi posted it before you did! Oh well, looks like it stands to underscore your inability to fucking read, Thoren-chan <3

IMMEDIATELY

The only issue is that Square-Enix doesn't prove a download for the client, so you need the physical disc or to simply download the game iso off a torrent site.
While I am aware you are an illiterate, there is this thing called Google that usually takes care of that sort of thing. Also, are you seriously bitching that you have to go buy a physical copy of a game? Wow. Speaking of Wow...

Japanese Gamers
ONGTHE AJAPENSE DONT LIEK IT CLEARLY THE GAME IS NO GGOOD

BTW, I'm glad to see so many of you have agreed that this is in fact my game. After all, I did not make you type those words. I even got a color rainbow colored one to go with my Rainbow bar that I made ages ago. Fun story: Did you know ex-staffer Flick cryassed like a bitch and got it removed, thus indirectly making the majority of this forums original posters fuck off and stop coming here?

I wish I stayed over the years, and maybe brain dead scags like you would have stayed in the woodwork where you belong. Alas, the idiots have taken over, and genius-level badasses like me are looked down upon.

Oh well, at least my dick is fucking huge.

Hey all you trolls, knock it off or I close the thread.

Except Parn, he's actually funny.
If you think ADHD bipolar disorder is funny. I think it is a very serious matter and should not be made fun of.
6  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: FFXIV Thread on: October 08, 2010, 10:55:17 AM
Games don't exist in a vacuum.
You could try doing so in fucking English.

This entire thread is a joke. It amounts to a bunch of losers complaining their shitty computer can't run this game. Bitch about the UI all you want, none of you have discussed how this game even functions because you're too busy worrying about shifting your opinion to fit with the previous poster.

"Waaah you guys made this look SO GOOD IN THE BETA HOW DO I FORM MY OWN OPINION!!??"

I'm gonna be glad when you losers get off my game.
7  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: FFXIV Thread on: October 08, 2010, 05:49:28 AM
compared to other MMOs.

Putting the second definition as well, in case some of you brain dead idiots can't figure it out on the first try.

com·pare
v. com·pared, com·par·ing, com·pares
v.tr.
1. To consider or describe as similar, equal, or analogous; liken.
2. To examine in order to note the similarities or differences of.

re·view
v. re·viewed, re·view·ing, re·views
v.tr.
1. To look over, study, or examine again.
2. To consider retrospectively; look back on.

As you can see, class, a Review, and a Comparison are two different things. We can use this thing called Common Sense to determine that the current Metacritic rating is not based on Reviews of FFXIV, they are based on random nitwits posting twitter-quality Literary Abortions on the internet saying nothing more than:

WHY ISN'T THIS GAME LIEK WORLD OF WARCRAFT   QQ

The reason the Metacritic review isn't higher is because all the people who aren't idiots are playing the game to write accurate REVIEWS. See, I used bolds and italics interchanging there. That's how we do it in SoCal bitches.

Y'know, you all keep saying Maze of Galious is a shitty game, but considering it came out in '87, I think it holds up pretty well. The other thing I can't figure out is why you people insist on acting like I'm stupid, infuriating, make no sense, and yet... nobody here insulting this game is giving a valid reason why it could even be considered bad.

Congratulations on acting exactly like me, whom you claim to hate, you self-hating poorly-skilled gaming choad.

This is such a shitty game you have to use a guide to beat the last boss how else would you know to pray 8 times God this game FUCKING SUCKS SO MUCH

In closing, I win. Lock this thread and prove it. Or leave it open so they can keep trying to act like me. I know I'm absolutely amazing, but really guys, stop mimicking me. You'll lose your individuality!

Your words, thoughts, and opinion right there––not mine.

Thanks though, I AM pretty awesome. Glad to see someone agrees.
10  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: 'Broken' or 'Tired' RPG gamelplay elements? on: June 07, 2010, 10:25:32 PM
I think SRPG elements like 'Which direction would you like to face?' and 'Are you sure?' are ridiculous. IMO after you are on your desired square you should be allowed to simply push the d-pad in the desired direction?
In games where direction matters, I find it worthwhile that since there is not a "go back" button, the game makes sure you don't do something by mistake. Also

Did you just seriously complain about having to use STRATEGY in a
STRATEGY RPG?

Wow. Mesh, you're not the stupidest person on these forums anymore.

The thing about FF13 isn't no shops, it was there was no place to go and talk to NPCs and stuff, something HF has in abundance.
This right here is why I can't fathom why the game took so long. Final Fantasy 13 feels like a more in-depth version of Dissidia the way it's ENTIRELY FUCKING MENU-DRIVEN.

Also, to be on-topic, I hate not being able to do something or advance until talking to EVERY SINGLE NPC regardless if their information is valid or important.

I feel sad for you that you seem to base the worth of yourself and others on videogame ability. You *must* realize how incredibly stupid your above comments sound. I hope you are not as socially isolated as your comments seem to imply.

lol is this guy for real
12  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: A thought about "Trophies" on: June 07, 2010, 06:31:47 PM
You hate handhelds and therefore hate Golden Sun so your opinion doesn't count, jerk. Quit pretending.
13  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Let's Recreate Gaming's Golden Age ITT plz on: June 07, 2010, 12:20:36 PM
Yes Mesh, everyone knows that if you fail at video games, you fail at life. Success in life is measured solely by success in video games, especially those from the 1980s.
I'm glad you could contribute to this topic's point by playing a game. Y'all talk a lot of shit, but you all also play like shit too. Work on that and maybe I'll see you clowns as something besides pond scum.
14  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: A thought about "Trophies" on: June 07, 2010, 12:19:04 PM
You need to take drugs for that obvious case of manic depression. Or, you know, at least see a psychiatrist.
Seen about eight, been in a mental ward––nothing seems to fix it. No big, even being batshit insane, I'm still the greatest video game destroyer to ever live. I could totally beat Jimmy from The Wizard, even.

I was talking about secret achievements and trohpies, and you follow up talking about how you like secrets in games...are not achievements and trophies part of the game?
And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that And I was talking about this and you were talking about that

Just trying what you did. It seem like it doesn't work or serve any purpose, much like you.

And yes I have beaten SMB, I even played it in the arcade way back in the day.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH SHIT GUYS WATCH OUT, HE PLAYED THE REAL ONE, HE'S BETTER THAN EVERYBODY NOW. But that's not the case, because I reign. They say Denial is the first stage.

How about the pink tail in FF4? Even the most secret things were spread through the gaming community if you had a friend who had a video game mag subscription. You think anyone would've figured out the pink tail on their own? Maybe a few...but is not players sharing secrets just telling other players what to go do?
No, it's not the same at all. It adds a dynamic element to it as it pertains to the individual. When another person can help someone solve a puzzle, that is a manner of connection between two people. It is very much not a person and a machine or a book.

But it's perfectly fine. The vast majority here have proven they utterly fail at playing games, being human beings, or having a conversation about Maze of Galious. I still can't see why so many people suck so hard at games these days. Gosh, it's SO HARD being the best, lemme tell ya.
15  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: A thought about "Trophies" on: June 07, 2010, 05:06:39 AM
Nowadays you'd have everyone griping that it was too damn hard to find because word would spread of it on the internet whereas this kind of interaction wasn't possible when the game came out, and thus only your pocket of friends and those who've managed to dig up the information out of a magazine or a guide would know about it.

There's something to be said about going too far regarding secrets in games. The gold skulls in Halo 3 come to mind. The I Would Have Been Your Daddy one sticks out the most. God... who thought that was a good idea? Ugh.
