You're not going to get much better. The Yen->USD conversion rate is getting worse and worse (for the US) every single day. I think last week it was a dollar is 76 yen, now it's down to a dollar is 73 yen. Good luck finding it anywhere cheaper, seriously.

LJ just posted on facebook that the album debuted at nº 1 in Japan. I'm so happy for them, they deserve it.


God, this album is amazing. "I'll face myself" and " Smile" now have a violin, it's incredibly beautiful. "Heaven" is more jazzy with a fantastic vocal performance by Hirata. "Signs of love" was completely re-arranged and it works beautifully. God, all tracks are standouts, fantastic album. There are a lot of moments where the music takes a backseat to the vocals to make Hirata's fantastic voice stand out.

 I'm very pleased with some of the remixes on the album. I like what they've done with "I'll Face Myself" a lot. As it was one of my favorites in the original soundtrack, I'd say it's extremely impressive they were able to improve it in my eyes.  

Some of them aren't as catchy as the originals, but not necessarily bad at all. "Your Affection" and "Heaven" for example.  Heaven has a. . .calmer sound to it.  It might be more fitting for the area it plays, but I don't necessarily like it as much. Same with Never More. Despite the addition of the Chorus, it doesn't feel as vibrant or "looking to the future"-ish. The biggest problem I found with it was they took out the background lapse around ~4:20 from the original. Considering that's a minor gripe, that means I enjoyed it.

I appreciate what they did with Signs of Love, a song I was rather neutral to in the original. Ah, drums!

Glad to see the Engrish lyrics remain as well. If they were sung by a singer who could actually speak English properly it just wouldn't be as fun.

I don't know if you realized but you can hear "backside of the tv" after the intro, it's very well integrated with the original riff. I also like how they combined the different versions of "I'll face myself". I think it's best track on the album, it's freaking amazing, it's so powerful and melodic at the same time.

I finally got around to check this out and while I like some tracks I still think that the "Reincarnation" album from P3 is better. Maybe the problem that I have with hearing musical arrangements of P4 is that the original compositions are already perfect, there's just one track that was better than the original one but they never put that in an album.

It was a track for a final boss I believe, don't remember the name now.
