And of course you are free to redownload anything you've purchased as many times as you want.

I don't trust Sony or Nintendo to not randomly blow up their download services, so being able to upback stuff is a good for me

I wouldn't trust Nintendo in that regard either, but honestly I have no reason not to trust Sony.  They've actually been quite good about that sort of thing.

Nintendo's odd there. I almost expect them to keep the Wii Shop open for decades before they implement an account system in a reasonable amount of time.

Sony though, they seem better equipped to track purchases across platforms, and tend to want to pursue BC, but the PS3 may've been too far and broke them of wanting to pursue that.

Well, Sony had that issue with getting hacked constantly a year or two ago.

And Microsoft's apparently killing GWFL and I think the XBone's kind of an open question.

Yeah, regardless of where Sony and Nintendo stand I have 0 faith in Microsoft at this point. They pulled XBL on OG Xbox only to never raise the friends limit on the 360, GFWL's getting the axe before the console it's loosely tied to is actually retired, and they've screwed people out of their Zune music before, and unlike Sony they don't have the excuse of a fully separate division deciding to do this. So yeah, Sony's ahead by some uncertain amount for now while Nintendo's WTF.

In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

I literally just yelled for joy at my computer screen. I was trying to prepare myself for the worst with the release date...but secretly was praying for the rumored November 26th date. Now that it's official, I can be crazy excited all over again!! :)

As much as I want the special edition, I just dont' see myself making use of it.

I'll end up getting the regular edition I guess. Just need to finish up YS Seven now.

So happy. This will be my first Vita game that didn't come with the system (Walking Dead) or a PSOne Classic that I already bought on PS3 and re-downloaded (FFVI).
